What we most liked about our stay at the Legendary Porto Hotel was the location and its being really close to the famous shopping Santa Catarina Street with lots of shops, cafes, restaurants. Some stunning architectural monuments like Estaçao da S.Bento, churches and cathedrals are also within walking distance. The Hop on Hop off tour buses terminal stop is just at a distance of one block which gave us an oppotunity to go sightseeing round the city, get some information about most of the places of interest and stop where we liked. The 6th floor room had a nice view of Praça da Batalha and the old church of St.Ildefonso. The room was big enough with a comfy bed and had everything we might need including a complementary bottle of water, a teapot and tea bags. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with good toiletries. The breakfast was really good with lots of choice and offering delicious pastel de nata.

Though we informed the hotel about our arrival time between 10.00 an 11.00 pm, there was no one at the reception desk. The lobby looked a bit scary and unwelcoming as there is a bar next to it and there were lots of noisy drunk people. So we had to wait for some time and hear people there shouting loudly and the smell was bad. In the morning the lobby looked better. Our room lacked soundproofing so even with the window closed we couldn't sleep well because of lots of noise coming from the square in front of the hotel and from the corridor as well.

Booked via booking.com and had problems with communications between the hotel and booking.com. Each blaming the other regarding me needing to amend my booking. Water in room is not very hot meaning you cannot mix it with cold when having a shower so the water pressure is poor and shower is very weak.

I was promised packed breakfast because we left very early in the morning but unfortunately some one forgot to prepare it , however there was a very nice Man which give us some fruit. Over head shower didn’t work and also air condition stop working in the last night.

You can park the car in parque Central for 10 euro per day (this is with a discount from the hotel. Ask for it. The hotel is situated near the shopping street. Check in is fast and the staff is very friendly. The room is nice and well isolated. We didn’t hear any noise from outside. Coffee and tea facilities are in the room. Also a safe is in the room. Unfortunately no fridge. The bathroom is nice and clean. We had a rain shower and handshower. The shower is only a bit small. It was not a problem for us but for some bigger people this could be a problem. Wifi in the room is functioning good. The room is equipped with a silent airco! Breakfast is very varied!!! Really super! It can be busy so be on time. This was a excellent choice to book this hotel. I would really recommend this!

This hotel is amazing, I really had a pleasant stay and I recommend it to travellers. Very well located in Porto, within a 5-minutes walk to many Porto's attractions, such as Mercado do Bolhao, Livraria Lello, several churches, and so on. It is also easy to find good restaurant and shops nearby in case you need anything. The room is very spacious, clean (it is cleaned up everyday), quiet, has a large-size wardrobe, a large and comfortable bed, and the view is very nice. The bathroom is also large with a comfortable bathtub. There are 2 elevators in the hotel, so we could bring our luggage to the sixth floor without any problem. The staff is very cordial and helpful. They offer breakfast for an extra fee, but we prefered not to eat breakfast at the hotel.

Room - 9/10. Clean and spacious room, a little noisy since our window looked out onto a landmark church and some markets but it didn’t bother us in the evening. Location - 10/10. We were just a few minutes walk from central Porto and the main central station, it was so convenient walking everywhere! Service - 10/10. Staff were friendly and there were no issues :)

Very convenient location, only minutes from many attractions and shopping and restaurants. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfist especially the fresh orange juice machine. Good air conditioning.

There was a fire alarm at 8:30 at night where we got a knock on the door saying there was a fire and we had to evacuate and not to take any luggage. Once in the lobby we found out that it was the hotel next door that had a small fire. I understand that for safety reasons we needed to leave but tell us its not our hotel on fire - some seniors were quite stressed.

I had an excellent experience at Legendary Porto Hotel. The location was perfect, situated close to major attractions and with easy access to public transportation. My room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay. Staff was very friendly.. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Highly recommend..

My room was spacious and the ceiling is high so the air feels fresh. I especially love the balcony in my room, almost as big as the room itself because it has a beautiful view of the Bento station and the old town area. The receptionist and housekeeping staff are helpful.

There is no fridge in the room, which might be a bit inconvenient in the summertime. If you are one of those people who find it difficult to sleep when there is noises, you might wanna bring some earplugs because the hotel is in the center area, so there are quite a few parties down the street at night. Personally, I loved the lively night spirits!

Location is good, right on the edge of the old town, couple of minutes to the Luis Bridge or about 10-12 to the main bars and restaurants area. Room spacious enough, seems clean. Staff is nice, checkin was a little bit long but still OK. Breakfast is fabulous, self made orange juice, bacon, eggs, some sweets, fresh and really good fruits. Coffee - excellent.

Two biggest problems are lifts - old, small and slow. We had the room on 6th floor, down we decided to walk, the wait was just too long. Second - there are no fridges in the rooms, you can leave staff downstairs, but it is cumbersome. Our AC unit begged for maintenance and the shower head was quite wobbly, never staying where you wanted it.
