Bed was comfortable, I appreciate to have a big locker included. Location is excellent, super close to metro station, and pretty close to city center. Around the hostel you can find supermarket, restaurants, pubs, etc.

Not enough bathrooms, I think 1 bathroom per floor is too little. Also, I know is hostel's fault, but I was super annoying to share room with Muslims. I'm not racist, but I spend my 10 days in Portugal in different cities and hostels, and everywhere was the same situation. They aren´t respectful at all, they phone talk at room at very high volume, watch tv or videos in the phone at high volume, they wonder around almost naked, they don´t clean after using the kitchen... they are killing the hostel culture.

The location is the best. The hostel itself is no-frills and comfortable. The price matches the accommodation. You get a clean, quiet, and hospitable environment with an excellent location. The location is near one of the busiest streets in Porto. Even though it's near one of the busiest streets, it's placed far enough that there isn't an overabundance of noise. During the night, I didn't notice any loud traffic or noises from outside. As stated above, this is a no-frills hostel. There is a modest sized kitchen and dining area. Which were always kept clean. Also, a terrace where you could get some quiet and air if needed. There isn't a lounge, so that is something to keep in mind if that is something you require. Breakfast is included in the price of accommodation. Which is served from 08:00-10:00. The breakfast was a nice offer as it cuts down on travel costs and gets you time to socialize with other guests The bathrooms were always kept clean during my time there. The water in the shower was always warm and clean. As with most hostels, you should supply your own toiletries. Staff were always friendly and helpful during my stay, and I am thankful for all their help. I would glad stay again and highly recommend the hostel for other travelers.

I booked it at the last minute because I had an issue with the one I booked in the first place. Location was central and the staff was helpful. It was very clean and even though it was a shared bathroom there were many in each floor so it was fine, I never needed to wait. Don't expect too much from breakfast.

Whenever a vehicle passes through the street the building vibrates like an earthquake. On the first one I was shocked and panicked then I realized. It is not good when you came from a country that experiences many earthquakes

The hostel was very clean and the staff was kind, the breakfast was really good. The rooms were comfortable and the location is perfect.

Place was nice and centric. And giving breakfast was a very nice detail.

The street it was in was very dark at night and could be a bit scary in some ocasions.

Lovely hostel and nice and clean rooms. Perfect location as it is nearby lots of places to visit and famous shopping area. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants and shops nearby. Nice breakfast with extra bread available. Really easy to access as buses stop in front of the place and there is also the underground nearby. Staff people were lovely and helpful but they mainly spoke Portuguese with limited English so was a bit difficult to communicate. Nice and sunny terrasse on first floor.

We had 2 rooms, one on the first floor and the 2nd room on the second floor. Could be a bit noisy as kitchen is on first floor and has no door and some people cook late at time or make calls with loudspeaker in the community room. Only shared bathrooms and usually clean but depends on people using it.

I love the location! Super good, the room was great , storage big and perfect for the bag. Very nice bed, I sleep pretty well! And very very clean ! The breakfast was great too,

I think the only thing was: there was no storage for bags before the check in or after the check out. I think the fridge could be more organized in the sense of: the guests could write their own names and date of check in and check out.

Not too bad, great location There’s 1 bathroom per floor but personally I didn’t have any issues. Even if my floor’s bathroom was occupied, there was always another bathroom I could use in another floor

Outside is loud during the night I got ~20 mosquito bites during the first night and 2 more each night Every time a car passed by the road, the entire building shook. Felt similar to the earthquake I was in recently in New York

The property exceeded my expectations: well-located, super clean, and good value for money. It's a 5-minute walk to the subway (Bolhão Station) and a 15-minute walk to the Luís I bridge. (I could keep mentioning nearby places to visit but the list would be way too long, so just trust me when I say the location is great.) There was no private bathroom in my room but this was not a problem at all. Props to the cleanliness of the property. Props, too, to the lockers, which were huge. Breakfast was good enough to kick off the day, and the property had a lovely terrace. The staff is also super nice.

There could've been bath soap available in the bathroom, and free towels. (You can rent a towel for two euros, though, which is pretty fair.)

The hostel is located in a nice old building in the town centre. While the neighbourhood is very lively (with many shops, restaurants and cafes), the hostel itself is quiet and peaceful. The room was cozy and clean. The hostel features a nice common area (a kitchen, a dining room and a terrace overlooking the backyard). It is located 5 minutes from the Bolhao market and 3 minutes from the Chapel of Souls.

There is no 24-hour reception and, officially, the check-in is possible only until midnight. While the staff were kind enough to wait for us until a bit later, it would be convenient if other late check-in options were available (e.g. a locker with an access code etc.). The breakfast consisted of a small buffet and, additionally, small portions of food alotted on plates for each guest individually. Given that different people make different dietary choices, sticking only to the first solution would seem to make more sense.
