Loved the port theme in the rooms, it was a great touch! We stayed here twice within a week and loved our trip to Porto. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed the Port tasting on arrival and the helpful tips of the area. The staff behind the desk gave us some brilliant food and drink recommendations, as well as recommending a great Port House for a tour. The rooms were good and comfortable and the location was not too far away from the metro, the market and a short walk to the river front.

The rooms were a little basic, but it matched the price point and we thought it was great value.

Stayed with some friends for the São João break. The House is located just two or three minutes away, on foot, from the Bolhão subway station, so it's easy to get around. We stayed in a room with three beds - my only "complaint" is that we could do with another plug for charging! Just a word of caution: if you have large or heavy luggage, there is no elevator. Apart from these two small details, we have nothing negative to remark upon. The staff was very kind and helpful, the place clean (and cleaned daily during our stay), the decoration simple but charming. Contacting the property before our journey was also easy and our requests were answered in good time. We did not try the breakfast (mainly because we were getting up late), but were informed that a continental style breakfast was available on the premises, we just had to reserve until the night before and pay an extra fee (can't remember the exact price, but seemed similar to other places in Porto). We all had a lovely glass of Port as a welcome drink!

Very comfortable and clean rooms. Was able to have our brought-in dinner downstairs and use their facilities. The staff (especially Jose) were very knowledgeable and always keen to help with anything. The location of the property is just perfect for exploring everything that Porto has to offer.

Nothing at all. We had a couple of minor issues but Jose sorted everything out quickly and without any fuss. He literally went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect!

Good location, walking distance to the river. A good continental breakfast for 10€~worth it. Helpful staff, young mate on the front desk especially. Parking station across the road for 16€ a day was convenient.

The parking station ( third party) packs the cars in like Portuguese sardines. Had to access my car via the passenger side. If you are old or incapacitated this could be an issue for you. But nothing wrong with the hotel.

Comfortable room - large and bed was great. Jose at front desk was incredibly helpful with directions, laundry and all questions I had. Breakfast was good value. Nespresso coffee machine, fruit, juices and assorted pastries, ability to make toast. Served starting at 8 am. About 10 -12 minute walk to river and cathedral.

Nothing! Very much enjoyed my 2 night stay while on the Camino.

The staff is so kind and helpful, every single one of them made my trip better for sure. They helped us with the city, with buying wine and with a warm reception. The room has enough space for two people and the balcony is also great.

I think there aren’t enough outlets in the room and I paid for the breakfast but there wasn’t much food left for us, they didn’t replace the dishes so it was kinda bad. The breakfast was not worth of the value.

The check-in staff member was awesome. Very personable & helpful. Surprised me with a complimentary Porto wine tasting that was part of the check-in process during my stay. Pity about not being able to take a photo of the Porto wine bottle as my mobile battery was kaput! The air-conditioning for my room must have been running on V8 power as the room temp was always so cool & refreshing to return to after an over-heated, all-day Porto tourist schedule!

The staff is friendly & helpful, the concierge, he is outstanding. Down to earth, helpful, honest, kind. The only thing missing (literally) were hooks in the room. The place is immaculate & bright. It’s quiet (as much as is possible, realistically). The place could use a little art in the rooms but that’s ok. It’s simple, which is better than “too much”! I would have loved a coffeemaker but it’s probably so as to not compete with their breakfast service.

Just that some wall hooks would be helpful.

Although there was some traffic noise at the front the windows were fitted with double double glazing. Rooms simply furnished but reasonably spacious , pleasant and very clean. Continental breakfast was well worth the 10 euros - wide range of food and could feed an army. Metro station just around the corner and easy walk to river and centre. A number of reasonably priced and good quality restaurants in the "square" 10 minutes walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay with Decanting Porto House! The facilities were clean and the staff extremely helpful and professional. We greatly appreciated the early check in as well as the luggage storage after we checked out. We also received a complimentary glass of port which was delightful. Definitely a great value and would happily stay here again.

The twin beds weren't that comfortable (a bit hard), but this is nitpicky
