The apartment it's a beauty. It has everything we needed, lot of space for clothes, super wide living room and bedroom. The bathroom was very clean in every corner. The flats that are on the main street side has a gorgeous view of azulejos of the building opposite. The lady at the reception super kins she gave us lot of tips for restarunt and things to do. If I ever will be in Porto again, I'll defitenely choose this hotel again!!!!

Its a tiny detail: the main staircase (made of wood) its a little bit loud when people uses it in the morning.

What a wonderful place to stay. This was our first stay in Porto, and certainly isn't going yo be our last... we have booked up for next year already. The team was fantastic, with Joanna and Rosa being reassuringly communicative prior to our arrival and more than helpful with suggestions of what to do and where to visit during our stay. The penthouse apartment that we stayed in was fantastic and very spacious. Having the large rooftop balcony was ideal for a hot drink and a relax at the end of the day whilst watching the sun set. Without a doubt, we would highly recommend staying here. A big thank you to the whole team for a wonderful stay.

It was our first time at Aparthotel Oporto Alves da Veiga, but it was absolutely fantastic! A beautiful apartment with a lovely old-world style, and everything you could wish for. Our hostess welcomed us very warmly and provided us with all sorts of useful and especially fun tips for the city of Porto, including river boating, a visit to the port winery, various restaurants and sights, and so on. If you want to relax in between, you can do so in the courtyard garden, with its swimming pool, hot tub, and comfortable lounge chairs, right in the heart of the city. In short, highly recommended, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

It was a beautiful old building with a beautiful garden which was a sort of oasis in the busy town were there was peace and quiet even with families with children playing in the pool it was a relaxing place. Being an old building with wooden floors there is a risk for noise from neighbors but they made this very clear with signs and it seemed like every guest realized this so there was no noise and the nights were quiet. The receptionist was friendly. It was an easy walk into the city. No worrying about parking because there was enough space in the garden for parking.

Loved the hot tub. The value of the room was great. It was spacious and clean. The views over the garden were lovely. We were also so thankful for the exceptional help of the hosts who gave us insider tips on how best to get around and where to go. It was above and beyond and we were so grateful! This is also a great location. Visitors may think its too far from the city center, but it's not. It is very walkable and because it is not right in the heart of the very busy sections of town, it feels more comfortable and relaxed.

The shower temp was not consistent.

This was a perfect apartment style hotel for our family of 4. Easy to get to from the airport. The location is on the hill about 15 min walk from the busy waterfront/train station area. There is a lot of space in the apartment and the kitchen is well equipped. We ordered breakfast included and it was more than enough-.typical fruit, bread/croissants, juice, milk, coffee etc. Supermarket and metro around and the corner was convenient... Parking on site if needed. There are lots of restaurants in the nearby neighborhood squares that are not as overpriced as other tourist traps located downtown. The staff was so kind and helpful. Pool is very small, but lots of chairs to relax in the garden area make it a comfortable retreat for a late day vinho or cervaja- a welcome way to unwind given the city surrounds you and you do a lot of walking!!! The only draw backs were the very firm mattress and that we found the price a bit high -but that is summer in Porto!

Literally everything! Friendly staff. The lovely room was like a mini apartment. The garden pool and terrace was an amazing addition and enjoyable oasis of calm in the city. The building architecture and design were stunning. Location was great! And we got a great deal. We booked the room to get us through the day / evening after checking out our previous accom early as we had a very late flight so had the entire day to kill. We didn’t actually sleep there and can’t comment on bed comfort. But it looked comfy! Highly recommend.

Nothing really, only that we weren’t able to stay longer.

This was an amazing apartment for a group of six! It had everything we needed, including a lovely balcony with a great city view. The spacious common area was perfect for gathering in the evening with friends, whether on the large sofa or around the big dining table. We will definitely keep this location in mind for our future trips to Porto with friends!

We were a bit disappointed to find out that the hotel did not have a sauna as shown in the photos. It turned out that the sauna is only available in another building of this hotel chain and requires an additional fee to access. Since the weather during our stay was very rainy, we specifically chose this hotel over other options because of the advertised sauna. We believe this information should be clearly stated in the description, and the photos should be removed from the gallery to avoid any misunderstandings.

Great location - staff were really helpful - the layout of apartments was great and finished to a really high standard. The pool and garden were perfect after a day exploring the city. The kids really enjoyed it. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. We had a family wedding and had an elderly relative with us - the staff arranged a wheelchair hire for duration of our stay and even found us a hairdresser on a Sunday - great service.

The area outside hotel did not give a great first impression but as soon as you opened the door it was a different world inside. Some taxis found it hard to find us as on a one way street but were able to contact us to get collected at end if the street.

Lovely spacious two bed apartment. Very light and airy. The garden is beautiful, and the swimming pool - though cold in April - was well used by our children. The building is well located close to the centre and to the shops. The staff were friendly and kind throughout. Overall we had a fantastic time.

The bedding could be improved - some of the mattresses were very hard and the pillows were poor. The apartment do with a broom or dustpan and brush, and basics like oil, salt, pepper etc.
