This hotel was truly exceptional! The room itself was one of the most beautiful we’ve ever stayed in—spacious, elegantly designed, and with impressively high ceilings that added to the grandeur. The entire property was just as stunning. The location was perfect—we were able to walk everywhere with ease. Despite being in such a central area, the hotel was incredibly quiet; we didn’t hear a single noise from the other rooms. The staff was also wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Considering how amazing the room, property, and location were, the price was surprisingly low compared to other hotels in Porto. It was truly great value for money!

One downside was the lack of blackout curtains. The room was really bright in the morning, and the curtain in the room was on the thinner side. Unfortunately, the sun woke us up early, and we couldn’t get proper rest. We ended up waking up around 7 AM every morning because of the sunlight. Even though we had sleep masks, they didn’t help much. A blackout curtain is definitely needed!!

Everythign was great. We only stayed one night for a quick trip to porto, but definitely will be visitng this hotel again when we come for a longer period. The staff was very friendly and quick to respond when I sent them messages on booking.com. We also could keep our luggage with them after checkout while we roamed around the coty waiting for our bus back to lisbon. And there was complimentary hot drinks in teh room and reception area. Also the bed was extremely comfy.

I can't judge, because we only spent one night. But nothing was bad from our pov.

1. We arrived very early but the reception was very kind and polite. Great experience to start! We were allowed to wait on premises or leave our bags and roam the city. 2. Flawless property, very clean and well maintained, beautifully designed. 3. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. We almost felt like it was our house! 4. The positives of the property FAR outweigh the few and rare negatives, you won't be disappointed!

1. You don't get room cleaning, so the bins can fill up, and you might run out of bath salts, shampoo, etc. It would be a good idea to start room cleaning daily or at least once every 3 days or so. 2. The water bottle had floating black bits which scared the wits out of us. The water also runs out fast and there's nowhere to refill the bottles. 3. The pantry is available to you all day, but is a bit understocked. For example, we ran out of water in the kettle and couldn't refill it because the kitchen is closed, and there was no milk or creamer for the coffee.

Exceptionally well appointed - the moment we walked into the main entrance we were charmed! Beautiful tiles and stylish furnishings. And a garden area with seating accessed directly from our room. It’s within a short walk of the city’s historic area and the Douro - no more than a mile to the river and the footbridge to Gaia. And only twenty minutes by taxi from the airport . The concierge couldn’t have been more helpful with our check in and giving local information.

Very Spacious, Clean, Lots of space for clothes and suitcases... Comfortable sofa.. althought it dosnt look it... , Comfy Bed we slept 9 hours one night which never happens... Quite location.... Lovely Supermarket close by... good bathroom with bum washer...

TV looks fancy disguised as a mirror, but its actually a bit broken... backlit gone and very very fuzzy picture... we dont watch TV on Holiday much... but it is nice sometimes to come back and chill out and watch TV on a morning or a longday.... Kitchen lovely but lack of utensils and plates etc... Kitchen needs a proper bin for those who cook like us... just an open waste paper basket.... Kitchen towel and coasters would be welcome also....

The location was great - just a quick 10-15mins walk away from the city centre in Porto! The place is really charming, and there's a cute courtyard, which is very nice. The room is comfortable; however, do note that the bathroom is in the same room but separated by a partition wall so you can "hear" everything haha. The male host who welcomed us on the first day was amazing!! Super cheerful and smiley, and gave us some great recommendations around Porto.

Some of the furniture could do an upgrade- i.e., the furniture in the courtyard was really old and wasn't maintained very well.

The area the hotel was situated was perfect for seeing most of Porto. The staff member was still pleased to welcome us even though our flight was delayed by 2 hours and we didn't arrive until well after midnight! Fantastic stay.

We had to pay an extra 30 euros for a late check in which is completely understandable but this was lost in the small print so was a bit of a surprise. We didn't have a problem paying it but it should be clearer that this is an additional charge. It would not have affected our decision to book the property.

Good location. Staff were very kind and supportive. The apartment was very cosy and clean, and was looking good with nice interior design. But most importantly the value for the price was excellent. I was honestly expecting less because of that, but I was surprised by how good everything was.

There was a slight issue in one of the two bathrooms. The water that came out from the shower wasn't very hot. Maybe this can be something for the hosts to look after in the future, but it's not a deal breaker. Also perhaps add a bigger TV screen in the living room (not a problem though).

An excellent solution, a new word in the hotel business in my opinion. Being within walking distance from the historical center, the hotel itself is an attraction worthy of being shown to tourists. Beautiful interiors of the main building, a very beautiful and quiet courtyard, a building in the courtyard where my room was located - all this forms a complex of beauty, comfort and tranquility. The room is simply huge, high, a lot of air and volume. Excellent wide bed, all furniture in the same style, kitchen corner, dishes, clean and spacious bathroom. If it were possible to rate this hotel a 12, I would do so.
