Everything is beyond perfect! When you just go inside the hotel smells very clean and amazing. The staff was very helpful and good-humored. We didn't have chance to try breakfast but it was also looking very good. Everything was super clean. We are planning to visit Porto again, we will definitely stay at the same place. Plus in my opinion hotel location is also great. If you are okey with walking, you can go anywhere by walking. But if you don't prefer that you can use taxi etc. which makes the road very very short. And I also need to add that since the beginning communication from the hotel was helpful! You could find a person to ask your questions even before arriving Portugal or Porto.

Quite a good location not too far from the main shopping centre and train station. Hotel very clean, good choice at breakfast and you could have coffee and homemade cake at anytime of the day and night.Goncalo on reception was so friendly and helpful and gave us a few good names of places to eat and drink

This is a very old building so unfortunately we could hear every footstep in the room above.

The room was a little smaller than we would have liked but adequate for our 5 night stay. The staff were wonderful. Very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great. Plenty of choice and excellent quality, mostly continental style but very very good and you could also have complimentary tea/coffee and cake in the afternoon after 4pm! The location was perfect, in a quiet part of town but just a short walk from cafes, shops, a shopping mall and supermarket and if you don't mind walking, a 25-30 minute walk to the port area.

Everything was acceptable for a short stay.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very close to Santa Catarina church and the Bolhão market. The Metro is also very close. Breakfast was very good and varied. There was plenty to eat each morning.

There wasn't any type of cupboard for a stay longer than 2 days. Unfortunately I had a room on the ground floor which was quite cold

Pretty much everything was great from the moment we were met at the door by the friendly and helpful staff. The check in process was easy, the room was clean and brought, the breakfast was very good and was a very complete meal; more than just a continental breakfast. Coffee is available all day. The location was great. Very quiet yet within just a five - or ten-minute walk from lots of places to eat, drink, and sightsee. It's in the older part of town, so be ready for lots of old beautiful buildings and some very narrow streets and sidewalks.

Excellent hotel near the city center,the very busy pedestrian street of S.Caterina.The room was clean and has everything what I needed.The bed was comfortable. They offered handmade cakes and coffee every day:)))The staff (Goncalo,Joanna and Rui)was very kind,friendly and helpful!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Gonçalo who was absolutely brilliant. The room was clean, tidy and the bed was very comfortable, there was a little desk and a mirror which was great. We didn’t eat breakfast there, but every day staff leave a cake near reception for guests which is a lovely touch. The location is central and easy to get to.

It’s very hard to think of anything to improve our stay - if I had to think of things, the shower pressure and temperature take a bit of tinkering with to get right, and I would have really loved a little bedside table on my side of the bed. Not big things at all!

The hosts where wonderful, always very helpful. The room was small but clean and you had everything you needed. Great breakfast. The hotel is located a little bit outside of the City Center but within a couple of walking minutes you where right in the middle of everything.

The walls were very thin, so you could easily hear your neighbors talking, walking and watching TV.

Our bedroom was clean and well equipped with three windows, the bed was very comfortable, and with a good shower in the bathroom. The location was fine, quite quiet but with a lovely local cafe almost next door and just a few minutes walk to the top of the main shopping street Santa Catarina. Porto is very hilly with some steep slopes. The breakfast was good with hot drinks, muesli, yoghurts, cakes, bread rolls and jam, and fresh and dried fruit. This is a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff who speak excellent English and is good value for money.

Sonia, our receptionist on arrival was excellent. So good at explaining and showing us where and what we should see. Breakfast was very good also. Plenty of choice. Lovely staff throughout. The little dressing room off the room was ideal. Table with coffee, cake, water etc. available 24 hours on landing for guests. Lovely touch. Good quality toiletries in bathroom.

We had a little trouble finding the hotel. It really is more like a guesthouse. A small quibble really. Our main problem was noise. Both from outside and within. The location is at a junction and is quite busy Also the walls are very thin, so snoring from the next room was very audible. Bring good quality earplugs!
