It’s very close to Capela das Almas. Also within walking distance to the metro station and the Bolhão Market. Overall, it was comfortable. It was nice that all kitchen utensils were available, and everything was clean.

It was quite far from Ribeira, the Douro River, Dom Luís I Bridge, and Porto Cathedral. You can reach them on foot, but it’s over 2 km with hilly and stair-filled roads. Unlike Ribeira, the street gets very quiet after a certain hour at night, and the emptiness can feel unsettling. Although the overall cleanliness was good, I wouldn’t say it was spotless—there were a few hairs in the bathroom that didn’t belong to me. The breakfast concept with the basket presentation was cute, but it could definitely be improved. Having more cheese and cold cuts could make it more appetizing.

The staff were hands down some of the politest, friendliest and professional in the business - happy to support, provide insights and just made our stay welcome. The apartments were bright and large with comfortable beds, also both hard or soft pillows which we appreciated. Location was perfect for sightseeing, plenty of cafes and restaurants on the door step along with the metro to the airport or beach. Would 100% recommend.

Noise from the corridor/slamming of front door could be heard but it didn't disturb sleep during night hours.

The apartment we rented overlooked the garden area. It was lovely, just as pictured. Everything was spotless -- the room was beautifully laid out and appointed for the comfort of guests. The property is located on a pedestrian street and while it can get quite busy on the weekends and be a bit of a 'crush' to walk through, it was fine on weekdays. There are lots of shops and restaurants close by, a metro stop, and the Bolhao market is a short walk around the corner. The staff went above and beyond -- they answered any/all questions and even arranged our port tasting tour at Churchill's. We were going to go to Sandeman, but I'm glad we went here instead; I highly recommend it! At one point I had a bit of a panic because I had made a scheduling mistake about the second leg of our journey to Aveiro. My husband was attending a conference and it was starting a day earlier than I had realized, I went to Marco and he assisted me by calling the hotel in Aveiro and confirming they could accommodate us for the extra night. That truly is going the extra mile! We absolutely loved every moment of our stay and will do so again in the future. Thanks, Bloom, for a great experience!

Although we arrived later at night, the receptionist was waiting for us, with a smile, and spent all the necessary time with us explaining everything. Location of the hotel cannot be better ... pedestrian zone, very quiet, but still close to metro and within a walking distance to the very historical center. The apartment itself was very clean, spacious enough, quiet and had everything we needed. Great breakfast baskets waiting for us every morning at the apartment door :-)

Bloom House exceeded all of our expectations. Prior to arriving, they sent me a WhatsApp message to ask our estimated time of arrival and said we can store our luggage in their reception as we would be arriving earlier than the check in time. They were always so quick to respond to my messages and helped us with metro directions before arrival. The room was so lovely and had everything you needed - couldn't fault it. The location was PERFECT - walking distance to everything and only 2 mins from the metro. It was my sister's birthday and the hotel helped me organise a surprise for her in the room with sparkling wine, cake and balloons - they were so attentive and made the occasion feel really special. Genuinely couldn't fault how lovely and helpful the staff were - would definitely recommend Bloom House to anyone travelling to Porto and would love to return!!

Warm welcome and hospitality from the staff, especially from Raquel and Mafalda. They made sure I was taken cared of from recommendations on what to see in Porto, asking what I needed, and booking me a taxi that picks you up right out of the building (needs a permit to get in the street) for an early morning flight. I didn’t expect it to be an apartment, complete with a living room, and a kitchenette. The bed, and sheets were comfortable. As an introvert, I would have preferred a more quieter location, as it is in a main shopping street with lots of foot traffic. BUT, it made up for the proximity to most attractions which is very walkable to get around. I would recommend!

Very nice apartment, all clean, comfortable, and with well equipped kitchen. Also great to have a luggage storing option after checkout if the flight is later and you want to further explore the city. The connection to the city or airport is easy, Metro and Bus stations are only a couple of minutes away. Also a supermarket is around the corner within the mall. The breakfast is delivered as a basket at an aligned time. The staff team was very kind and helpful and recommended restaurants for dinner and other topics in Porto. Nice was also the opportunity to visit a port wine cellar for free. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

The location was superb. In the main commercial street where you could find basically everything. not so far from the historical center. The staff was very helpful, booked for us the winery for some Porto tasting.

A con would be the parking, but it is understandable as it is on a pedestrian street. Nevertheless, the staff informed us about the public parking very close to the House (which was cheap for a 24h parking), so that solve the stress of finding a parking spot in the neighborhood.

The property was clean and easy to get to. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous.

Our first night, the shower handle was broken and there was no hot water. I reported it to front desk and they indicated they weren't able to fix it, as it was already late in the day. But they immediately addressed it the next day and even offered to move us to another room when another became available. Outside of that first night. the remaining stay was excellent.

The Bloom House by Sweet Porto is situated 3 minutes walk from metro station Balhio on the main shopping street of Porto. it’s the very city center with everything you need 10-15 minutes walk. The hotel or apartments has a reception and a lift, that is rarity in the old city buildings. The room is big enough with nice furniture and even kitchen. a small bottle of red Porto wine was waiting for us as welcoming drink.what won me over is the free mobile with free calls and internet that we could use in the city free of charge. I have never seen such service anywhere in the world. The breakfast can be served by the Bloom house to your room for additional 11 euro p.p. We have chosen to have the breakfast right to the next door with the hotel. they have nice choice.

We arrived on Saturday so it was a little bit noisy in the first hours of night, as city is on weekend, but we opened the window. The towel rack under the sink should be checked. the rest was perfect. I would definitely stay there again without no doubts. we can compare as we returned to Porto in a week after our stay in Bloom house and stayed in other place as it was fully booked.
