a wonderful classic hotel that has been tastefull updated, decorated, and styled. - Really kind and personable staff - very quick and thoughtful refund * - spacious common areas - a big, modern kitchen with plenty of refrigerator space - an incredible location; on wonderful pedestrian street with lots of great cafes and bakeries and historical landmarks at your front door ... and NO CARS !

* the bed bug issue. thankfully we didn't unpack our clothes too much before heading out. when we came back around 23h, guests were murmuring about bed bugs on the 1st floor. We went to our dorm on the 3rd floor, and checked and found a great big nasty bed bug. it was too late to find another accomodation with a 24 hour desk. so we ended up sleeping outside in the beautiful back patio, but then it started raining so we slept in the kitchen.

the hostel is great! people are lovely, and the location is spot on.

we had the unfortunate of being in a room where someone brought bedbugs, so everyone was a bit itching.

Good location, just 1min walk to the station. Also it is 15min walk to the center. Very clean, they clean many times a day, looks like they always clean something The staff is really nice

I have to be honest, I got bitten by bedbugs the first night (I even found a dead one) so it was really not confortable to sleep after that. They changed me the room and it was better (but still itching) The showers are not very good (small + no pressure)

Friendly staff and people, well arranged rooms, the location was also awesome. Had some fun conversations with other travellers in the kitchen as well.

Figuring out how to use the overhead lamp in the bed took me a day, and later 2 other people were amazed that i had found it, so maybe indicate where the light switch is. It would be a great idea to invest in wifi repeaters so that each room has excellent wifi reception, while i was in the bed i had trouble getting good reception. (Though that could be looked at as a good thing from a certain perspective) Some of the showers need a bit of repair. hope this feedback helps!

I have stopped here while walking the Camino Portughese 💙 Everything was perfect and although I didn t plan, I decided to stay for 3 nights here, very friendly and helpful receptionists , comfortable beds in shared mixed dormitory with curtains and you have a lot of privacy ♥️ very clean, nice places to rest, very quiet and cosy , full equipped kitchen ❤️ Walking alone 👣 with my backpack 🎒: ➡️ Camino del Norte from Bayonne, France to Santiago ➡️ 2 days voluntary work at the albergue in Guemes ➡️ Camino Lebaniego, Saint Vincent de la Barquera - Cades - Cicera - Potes - Santo Toribio de Liébana Monastery ➡️ Camino Primitivo from Oviedo to Santiago de Compostela ➡️ Camino de Fisterra and Muxía -> from Compostela to Cape Finisterre ( Negreira- Oliveroa - Cee - Finistera) and from Finistera to Muxia ➡️ started Camino Portughese from Santiago de Compostela to Lisbon

The location is very convenient. The staff very nice and helpful. Towels and other facilities available there. I slept in a shared bedroom but still felt that I have all my privacy (bed curtains, lockers) and also comfortable space (light over the bed, two plug-ins). Moreover, the lobby is great to work - WiFi works perfectly; for my remote work it was enough. You also can use a place outside, like a terrace; however me, I haven't used it because of the rainy weather. There is a kitchen available too (you can cook something for yourself). Rooms are very nice and spacious, the interior design is amazing.

The hostel could have added some space in the shower cabins for leaving your clothes, not to make them wet - for example some tiny chairs or glass boxes to leave your things on (or inside the glass box). Also another suggestion coming from me - the rooms could have more lockers on the floor for bigger luggage (suitcases and so on) or maybe to add those bigger lockers on the corridor.

The hostel is really nice. It is kind of and old house converted into a hostel. The living/dining room is very cozy and warm, and the kitchen is very big and has everything you need to cook your meals. The terrace in the back is also very confortable. The front desk is open 24h. The bed was comfy and there are outlets in each bunk to charge your devices, including a small locker.

Some of the showers were out of service, but that was not a problem since there were many. Showers are small though. The bunks are three-tier and I got the one on the top. It may be a nuisance to climb up and down every time during the night.

The staff!!!! Paulo is amazing!!! The girls receptionists are also great, but Paulo is my favorite:)) The atmosphere there is amazing and the people. I've met a few friends there, we spent some time together in the other cities. Very well equipped kitchen! The central location, the metro is nearby, and a good grocery store Continente. I really loved a free robusta coffee in the morning:)) I felt safe as a solo female traveller. Also, if you have any question or issue they solve it in the best way. Thank you rosalma hostel team! You do your job great!

The toilets on the 2nd floor. I didn't like them much, not enough privacy. But there's a nice toilet on the 1st floor. I was always using that one:)

You can check in at a late hour which is great! Staff is always there :) The beds and bathrooms were very clean. The beds feel private and there is a personal storage box right next to your bed.

The bathrooms are mixed, which is not terrible but I feel the need to point it out in case it’s a concern for someone. There are 3 story bunk beds. I was at the very top. If you cannot climb that high or are afraid of heights it might be an issue. Getting your stuff up and down is a little complicated. It was fun for me though haha

sleeping places are well organized with storage spaces, individual lights, electricity sockets

when I arrived in the room for 9 people, only one bad was occupied but I was offered a bad option under stairs, I had to ask for a better option, and it was given, also if you are suggested to pay in EUR or USD most choose EUR and without conversion, because you will be charged 5% extra there were problems with locking the door because the lockers are old, but no one explained to me how to do it correctly, other people to stay in the room need to tell you how the lock works so you can open or close it ( it required some practice :)
