Excellent hotel. Staff are very helpful. The room was massive, and very clean. A large bottle of water was provided free every day too. Breakfast was good, lots of different options from your standard cooked breakfast to toast, cereal etc., plus the garden was a nice calm spot to have a coffee in every morning. The location was about 15-20 minutes walk from all the main attraction which was not too far, but far enough away for a peaceful night's rest.

If you struggle with hills, you might not like having to walk up a relatively slopey street to get to your hotel every evening. However, it's a very minor thing.

Lovely staff and a very large room. The room was equipped with loads of pillows, a coffee maker, a kettle and small fridge, as well as a desk and couch. As an old school, the room and bath were large in European standards. We had the breakfast our first morning, which was nice, with varied options. The neighborhood was safe and very walk-able. During reception we were offered Port, egg tarts and a short overview of things to do in the city (map) The wifi was great.

My comments are for older travelers, mostly. Close to local neighborhoods, this hotel could be a little too far from the "tourist spots." There were plenty of local spots to eat and drink nearby and we took advantage of the neighborhood. For our tastes, the bed was too hard - after a hard day of walking we needed a soft place to rest our aching hips. The room has plenty of outlets, but one must move bedside tables to get to them. Finally, there was a giant tub that one had to step in to shower and is quite the fall risk.

Restful friendly little hotel with very large rooms that had a sofa and desk. Bathroom well equipped. Smart tv. Outstanding staff - so helpful especially Francesca on the front desk. Would stay again.

Bar service was difficult to access. Breakfast at the hotel was delightful for the first 2 days. Then we had to go to the next door Editory Garden hotel for the final 2 days. Breakfast was very haphazard: food run out, no cups, plates or cutlery and food poorer quality. Coffee was awful and there were no English Breakfast tea bags. Young staff tried their best but not a pleasant experience

Hotel is beautiful, very modern and trendy! Location is good, but still a bit far from the center. The A.C in a room was not working, but the staff was quick to try to solve the issue. They sent an maintenance guy to take a look and offered to change the room. We ended up just opening the windows at night (its March, winter time, very cool outside). Big thank you for Matheus and Angelo, that went above and beyond for us! Another note: breakfast is amazing! Highly recommended!

If you rent a car, be careful not to park right in front of the hotel, most of them are for disable - but the signs are a bit far and you might not see it

Great location close to all the cities sites, metro and main shopping, pedestrian street but just out of the hubbub. Very quiet at night but still in a safe area.

We were initially given a room (112) on the first floor that faced the hotel school yard which had a large floodlight that illuminated the room at night and was impossible for me to sleep in. Fortunately the hotel had another room on the other side overlooking a pretty quart-yard where breakfast/ drinks are served and was perfect for the following nights.

We really enjoyed the stay. The Room was larger than expected. The bathroom was huge, for European standards . We really liked the location, it is on quite street but very close to everything, within walking distance. Rue Santa Catarina is full of restaurants and close to Mercado Bulhao. The Breakfast was good however, the breakfast set-up was awkward.

For a hotel that is connected to a "Hospitality" school, the closet only had a couple of hangers. They need to supply more hangers. Also, it's strange for a modern hotel not having USB connections. It could be simply provided, like the table lamp

The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable, lovely hot shower. Housekeeping made sure it stayed this way during our stay. The breakfast was plentiful and varied daily with lots of choice. The staff were exceptional, always polite and welcoming. A special thank you to Francesca who took time to point out places of interest and give us local recommendations, also for the brownies and port in our room to celebrate our wedding anniversary! We had the seven course tasting menu in the restaurant, an experience I would recommend.

Nothing!

Fantastic hotel, good location.  About a 10 min walk to the main touristy area. We like to stay outside of the busy areas because they can be noisy and this hotel was located in a very quiet area.  We had a beautiful room overlooking the garden.  The rooms are huge with lots of space for everything. Bathrooms are also very large.  Beds are comfortable and the TV has lots of options.  Good wifi.   Staff is very pleasant and accommodating.  It was nice to always be greeted kindly and asked if there was anything we needed. The lobby also has sparkling water and port wine for guests.  The coffee in the room is very nice and other little amenities are replenished daily, which is a nice touch.   Loved staying here, highly recommend!

Love the decor of the hotel, we really enjoyed how spacious, comfortable and beautiful our room was. The location was great that it wasn't right in the center of all the tourist spot, just a little further out which was perfect for us as we enjoy walking around local neighbourhoods. The in room dining was sooooo delicious, one of my top meals in Porto! The breakfast was also fantastic, the chef is incredibly sweet, greeted everyone with the biggest smile and her food was amazing. Now, Raphael assisted us with our check in, he was so patient, friendly and super helpful. Gave us tons of great recommendations as we barely did any research on where to go. He is a super star!!!! Thank you Raphael, you made out stay brilliant and our trip in Porto so easy!!! LOVE his professionalism and enthusiasm towards his work. Oh the in room welcome dessert was also amazingly delicious!! All very thoughtful!

Only downside is that there isn't a pool or a gym (which my bf really missed) but other than that nothing. It was an amazing stay! Oh maybe just a not very well designed shower head placement that caused very wet bathroom floors but now I am just nit picking haha.

I liked the welcome from the staff, they speak all languages and there was always someone to open the hotel door and call the elevator. The hotel is also amazing, the rooms very big and there is everything you need.
