Whilst just out of the tourist area it was an excellent location. The metro station was a couple of minutes walk away, there was a large supermarket very close by and it was a ten minute stroll to the main tourist and shopping street. The room and bathroom were a good size and the room was remade each day. There was tea and coffee and cake provided in the reception area.

We didn't have breakfast there so can't comment on that nor did we use the parking. Our only complaint, and it is a minor one, was that only disposable paper type cups/ glasses were provided in the room and after these were used they were not replaced in our stay of four days. We could have asked for more but it did seem odd when the rooms were serviced each day.

- Good Location; not far from city centre. Metro station is near however the city is very walkable. - Good Breakfast; choices were varied and was tasty. - Good Bedroom; With enough room to move around, large bathroom, comfortable beds.

- WIFI; I struggled maintaining a good connection with the WiFi. Perhaps some boosters would be good. - Bathroom; It was mostly clean however the shower area didn’t feel as clean as it could have been. I think a refurbishment of the tiling would make it feel cleaner.

A cosy, quiet hotel with mostly excellent staff. Anna was outstanding with suggestions for tours and other stuff. Thank you Anna! The tea and coffee along with cake and pastries provided by the hotel was much appreciated.

Far from the city centre.. a 20 minute walk. However it was a quiet area. A fridge was provided but it froze all my food One of the front desk staff spoke no English at all and I found it difficult to communicate with him.

The hotel is exceptionally placed to visit the historic city. Close to Metro and easy to find for Uber. The staff were very accomodating and for us "oldies"the young receptionist installed Uber on our mobile phone and we saved a fortune on taxis!! The staff were also very helpful and our early arrival was no problem and we used the facilities, coffee and cake provided for free and luggage stored until the room was ready. Lift access to the room was a bonus. Definitely value for money

The hotel was really nice and clean, with all basic necessities fulfilled. I am very particular about cleanliness and it was a 10/10 on that. The staff were very nice, welcoming and helpful. The inclusive morning breakfast was also good quality. Overall my stay was a good one.

The outside look and location, which gives it a little downgraded feel, but once you enter the hotel, it seems a completely different place. The lighting in the bathroom or near the room mirrors could be improved.

- The hotel door has to be opened by the receptionist all the time, resulting in a weird wait for guests waiting to enter or leave the hotel - No hygiene kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton buds) in the room, nor an option to buy it at the reception

Well appointed close to a metro station. Nice powerful shower in spacious bathroom and good blackout curtains. Cake and coffee on tap at reception. Aircon worked well in my room.

The mattress was much too firm and was uncomfortable. Pillows also quite poor quality and the bath towels were small and skimpy. Also in the bathroom there was a single dispenser with soap. I queried the lack of shampoo and was informed the soap was fine for washing hair ! Very odd.

The staff was incredibly friendly, the coffee/tea and pastries were incredibly hospitable and made me feel welcome without a coffee maker in the room. The staff helped with whatever concerns we had promptly and immediately and were incredibly helpful with any concerns.

The rooms didn’t have designated shampoo/conditioner or body soap. The showers had mold growing between the grout. There was no iron or ironing board in the hotel room, which would have been appreciated.

My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights. The room was comfortable and the bathroom in particular was very nice. Hotel staff were pleasant and free coffee was available in the lobby. The location is fairly close, an uphill walk but that is unavoidable in Porto. The area was safe and the front desk staff kept the reception area secure after dark.

The room was quite small, ok for a short break but quite cramped. The lift was very small, old and didn't feel 100% safe.

The room had a really nice perfume to it. Nice to get into. The staff were the best. All of them so polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the desk had enough space for my laptop and had the plugs nearby...so I can call it business hotel as well as holiday due to its fantastic location. They have own parking but there were plenty of parking spaces nearby.

The shower floor was flooding...not sure if it was just mine or all of them were like that...but a little uncomfortable to have a shower with all that water on the feet... They did not have an iron & iron board...the one they had was broken...apparently one customer broke it and they were waiting for a replacement. Perhaps next time...
