The property is beautiful, clean, and the team is delightful. We stayed at Terra Nostra for the same amount of time and liked Hotel Vale Verde just as much of not more. It’s not as fancy but it’s far more cozy. It’s like staying with family. They took such good care of my sister and I. We just love this place and will be back.

The breakfast was fresh, delicious and bountiful and the dining room was light filled and spacious. I liked the fact that there was a well equipped bathroom between reception and the dining room for convenience. The location of the hotel was perfect. A close walk to everything one could need. Convenient parking and lovely view of mountains both from our room and the dining room. The staff was warm friendly and responsive. I needed a flatter pillow - provided. I needed a laundromat - a map to get there. Our arrival time kept shifting - the hotel responded immediately with personal welcoming messages. Could not have been better.

The staff here are fantastic. I made a mistake with my booking and they were very helpful and flexible on allowing me to change my booking even though it wasn't permitted in Booking.com. The hotel itself is quite nice in a classical sense. The room we had was big and comfortable. The breakfast in the mornings was also nice with a decent spread.

The only thing missing in the room for me was the option of a mini fridge just to keep water cool. Other than that, everything was great.

Room was nicely decorated and reasonably spacious. Nice outdoor balcony. Comfortable bed, pillows. Bathroom was fine. Very central location allowing us to walk to many sites and good restaurants for dinner. Breakfast had minimal but acceptable options and was restocked frequently. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Free parking in rear or in front of hotel in public lot was appreciated.

Clean, comfortable and well-located, with car parking which isn’t necessarily easy in Furnas.

Having to lift heavy bags up the flight of stairs. We are aware the owner has back issues, and there are plans to install a lift, but for now, it was a small blemish. Breakfast options could be more extensive.

Cleanliness in the room. Breakfast time: early start and duration. View from the window. High quality parquet in the room. Room equipment: bathroom, wardrobe, desk, air conditioning, TV, good internet. Delicious pastries for breakfast. Not bad breakfast. Kind staff. Possibility of overnight accommodation for people with disabilities

Thin walls, I could hear men peeing from two adjacent rooms. Small balcony. A simple partition between the balconies, now you can see what people are doing in the neighboring rooms.

Extremely clean, close to everything, plus Furnas is heaven of parking lots! The room was big enough.

If your room faces to the street, it can be really noisy daytime. The AC is old, and I could not turn on heating to dry my clothes :( The walls are thin, so you can hear all noise from the other rooms (using bathrooms mostly). The breakfast is basic, but okay.

The staff was friendly and helped me with a minor issue I had. They offered advice about the town, things to do and logistics. The hotel was well situated to walk to gardens, hot springs, restaurants, and grocery stores. Off-street parking was helpful. The breakfast was very good: breads, yogurt, granola, fruit, meats and cheeses. A very nice place to stay!

The location is right in the centre of Furnas, walking distance from the Caldeiras and Terra Nostra. The breakfast was a continental buffet. The room was small but clean with a balcony with a nice view of the mountains around Furnas.

The hotel is next to a main road, which made sitting on the balcony a bit uncomfortable, although there didn't seem to be any traffic in the night and it was quiet when it matters.

Fantastic location in central furnas close to supermarket opposite and gorgeous church close by. Everything in walking distance. Great breakfast and really beautifully kind hosts. Room had a balcony with mountain view overlooking mini courtyard. Really grateful for it all 🙏🏼
