All together the hotel is great. Staff is really friendly, Hotel is clean, Rooms are nice, calm, no noices from street or neighbours Great informations for restaurants on the island

- The fact that using the pool is 10€ per day per person from May 1st on (high season) !! The pools were the reason why I booked the hotel, but the 10€ per day were the reason NOT to use it ... - The fact that on the top the rooftop pool is opening at 4pm - why so late ? on the top, it was mostly raining at that time of the day ... - The fact that hot food at breakfast (bacon, beans, baked tomatoes were 9 days in a row half cold (we told them, but day after halfcold again) - The location is great to visit the island (close to the north, very close to "highway" to reach all destinations) but not the best location for holiday feeling

The hotel is great, modern and comfortable. The location is very handy since the hotel is located in the southern center of the island - we could reach any spot on the island within 30-40 min. The beds and pillow were 10 out of 10. Maybe the most comfortable beds we have ever had.

Little things could improved: - there was no water in the spa area, we had to go to the gym to grab some - also there was no proper area to take a cold shower or jump into the cold basin after the sauna - the rooms miss simple hooks to hang the towels and upper clothes after the hiking - the restaurant in the hotel has very few options for dinner

The real 5 stars hotel in Sao Miguel Azores. Probably the only one in this class for real. Exceeded expectations, from customer care, reception, room service and cleaning, to room and hotel spaces facilities, by high class standards. Friendly nice heartfull stuff, taking care of you. All by real good price quality ratio, much better than other similar rated hotels on this Island.

- some limitations with the tv settings, not allowing using your own personal streaming accounts ( e.g. with netflix etc), nor other devices connections (mobile etc). - no front desk helping with the luggage (at least my experience)

The staff is extremely nice, the room was spacious, with a nice balcony and very comfy. The restaurant was also incredibly good and good value for the money. The terrace on the 4th floor was also super cool with a great view and comfortable sun beds and an outdoor swimming pool. A SPA and gym were also available. Everything was relaxing and sparkling clean.

Location was not super convenient, without a car. The room was a bit too cold and the AC couldn’t be raised above 24 degrees Celsius, the alternative was to turn it off, but it was getting pretty warm during the night. Maybe the possibility to have a lighter duvet in summer could be nice. The SPA consisted of a sauna, hammam and indoor swimming pool and the entrance is excluded. Not the best, considering the island offers so many natural free entrance hot springs and thermal baths.

- Friendly staff - Exceptional breakfast - Fantastic facilities (Swimming pool - around 10 meters long / Sauna / Steam Room) - Gym with all equipment which you will need for a proper work-out - Lots of parking spaces around the hotel - Great bar with good cocktails on the 4th floor - Great hotel overall.

- If you have an early flight before the delicious breakfast service will start, the pick up breakfast is not the best Other than that, nothing really to pick up with this great hotel.

The staff was amazing, everyone was friendly and helpful. It was great to have an indoor and outdoor pool, especially for the weather conditions on Azores. Even though the hotel doesn't have parking, there is street parking available everywhere for free. The location is ok, it's close to the highway (?) so it was easy to get to Ponta Delgada and other parts of the island. However, it's quite secluded from Lagoa, there are no restaurants/cafés/ bars immediately around.

We quite liked our stay but think the following could be improved: we stayed for 8 nights and had every day the very same breakfast (only one type of pastry seemed to change as well as the fruit varied a little bit). Also, we paid for a sea view room and even though we could see the sea, which was quite far away and in a 90 degree angle from the balcony, it was mostly hidden behind the hospital. I wouldn't have paid extra for this, if I had known that before. In the spa, around the sauna/steam room, there are no hooks to hang the towels so we had to place them on the floor. For some reason our shower door didn't close 100% so the floor became wet.

Very newly built hotel, beautiful interiors / bathrooms. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The sauna and steam room along with the indoor pool was awesome

Food menu on the room service was Terrible. We ordered a sirloin steak which was literally a thin slice of unseasoned, STEAMED meat. Same for the tuna. The chef genuinely needs to be fired. Have not had worse tasting food in my life. (The food around the island was amazing on the other hand) The rooftop pool is just a lounging pool - too shallow to swim in plus its not heated. The hot tub indoors is not a hot tub at all, its barely luke warm water. Apparently thats the highest temp they can keep it at which was very disappointing.

Hotel is NEW Rooms are large and well equipped Parking is available outside everywhere without costs Ingredients (breakfast and resturant) are very good and fresh SPA is excellent (but expensive)

Since all is NEW (and you pay a lot) there are many problems: - Resturant is very slow and disorganized - Ouside pool close at 7pm (Why?! There's light until 9pm!); inside one close at 8pm - Cleaning service works all day, but there isn't the option "make my room now" - Breakfast (15€/each) is ok, but only if you arrive soon, after 9am many foods disappear; homlet service not work very well (slow when many people and a bit disorganized) - There isn't baggage service at room, and doors are not very confortable to do that

Good location, fab pools, lovely, large clean comfy rooms, great views, very friendly staff, nice menu at the pool side bar.

Nothing really, just a few logistical issues easily fixed by the overview of a manager, for example allocating tables at breakfast so it doesnt feel stressful to find a seat, also we were made to wait till 4pm to check in because the room wasnt ready at 3, no real apology just asked to move out the way so they can check other customers in.

Views from the pool deck were awesome.

Toxic air freshener discharged outside elevator. Only place to get ice for room was at rooftop bar. Room fridge did not get cold, only cool. The fact the going through booking.com prevented recognition of Hilton honors membership so to use indoor pool & jacuzi was 10 euros per person instead of free.
