Nice and clean hotel. Perfect room cleaning. Pleasantly warm pool. Nice view from the room window.

Worse location. A little far from the city centre.

Spacious clean room, lots of parking in the street. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Location 15min walk from the center, perfect location to both visit Ponta Delgada and other parts of the island.

Price-quality it was too expensive (eur 220 per night). No free water in the room (not even upon arrival), no tea/coffee maker in the room. Our room had a door (locked) to a communicating room, and the acoustic insulation through the door was not ideal, as we could hear everything which was played on the TV next door. Also, we were advised upon arrival by the hotel that it's mandatory to use a swim cap in the pool. Same was available in the hotel for EUR 3. In our opinion this should have been made available for guests free of charge, considering it's the hotel that makes the use mandatory and taking into account the price per night we paid.

The rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast is good - enough selection. Most staff are very pleasant (front desk, bartender etc... but few staff (restaurant/pizza) did look little miserable? Both bartenders we had upstairs (different nights) were very good - customer service/quality of drinks etc... Did not use pool or spa services so can't comment, used gym one morning (even though small had what I needed for well rounded work out). Was hoping to get the 30 min special message after but little confused on booking at adjacent desk - but found out easy enough through reception. Just ran out of time before we left to book. Liked the kiosk for taxi service.

The restaurant is good. Not sure why on 2 evenings we were told the wait for general menu was 40 min (as 2nd time was not that busy)? This time we ventured out into town - not good for anyone who does not like to walk as found it difficult to get a taxi back to hotel after exploring town/dinner etc... and ended up walking. Is about a 20 min walk and hills! But not a deal breaker for us.

Spacious rooms and bathroom. Breakfast buffet had a variety of vegan and otherwise options. The swimming pool and spa were the cherry on the top.

Paper cups in the room - would be great to replace with glasses for environment sustainability. Also there was no hot water kettle/coffee machine.

We enjoyed the comfy beds and pleasant hotel atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind and accommodating. The pool was a nice added bonus and the perfect ending to a busy day.

We enjoyed the breakfasts, but would have appreciated different hot food options during our stay.

Modern, clean and large rooms. Great view, beds were comfortable. Did not use restaurant (only for breakfast) but first day staff was accommodating with bar bites before opening of restaurant. Good selection for breakfast. Great bar upstairs/rooftop and must say the bartender makes excellent drinks and he was super busy - could have used help for sure, but he more than managed - so kudos to him! We did not get to use the other facilities (pool/gym etc...) - disappointed did not have time, so will be back to the hotel for sure as they looked perfect for after a long day out exploring? And thank you for helping us retrieve some of our important belongings that we left in the safe - we called and they had waiting for us at front desk to collect :)

Location just a little further out to centre, but we had family pick us up, so never really explored walking distance to be fair. Is convenient to highway though, so if driving will probably not be an issue.

Super hotel with big spacious rooms, with very comfortable beds. We were on the 6th floor so great views over the sea, and they put our teenage daughters next door which was perfect. Breakfast was fab (not quite enough vegan options for my husband/daughter but they could manage) and the hotel staff were really lovely. We loved the pool and sauna/jacuzzi. Short walk to the city centre and harbour area.

It would have been nice if they’d taken the roof off the outside part of the pool.

Breakfast was exceptional, staff were all very friendly and helpful and hotel was clean.

Rooms require better lighting as the light was very dim. The mattress could be improved a bit. The hotel was a bit too heated especially at this time of year.

Great amenities like restaurant, bar, pizza oven and underground parking. Room was a good size with large bathroom. It was 5 minute walk from amazing pastry shop and sol-mar grocery store. Staff were all very accommodating including the ladies at the front desk, who helped us to print boarding passes, with directions and printing other items. Newton was very helpful with our wine at the bar and giving us information.

Everything was great.
