Good location, near to city centre. Kind staff. Excellent cleaning. Good breakfast including delicious fresh pineapples. Fine equipment - kettle, cups, tea, bottle of water, enough soap and toilet paper, good water pressure in the shower. Nice terrace with view.

It is not a fault of the hotel but it is located next to bakery. The sweet smell in the room was fine but the air-conditioning of the bakery was noisy and turned on almost 24/7. No vegetables at the breakfast. Sometimes slow service at breakfast - tables full of used dishes of guests who already left. Ventilation in the bathroom was not working /?/.

The staff are absolutely lovely and so friendly.. they speak English well and try to accommodate all your requirements. they had a corkscrew and wine glasses when needed too! the breakfast is basic, no hot food but all fresh, ham, cheese, bread, rolls, pineapple, melon, cakes, yogurt, cereal and freshly squeezed orange juice, maracujá and red fruits juice, coffee and tea. The twin room had a bath and powerful hot shower, a bidet, big balcony with a side view of the sea and city, table and chairs. decor is dated and basic but you're gonna spend most of your time exploring the beautiful island! The hotel is kinda dated and smells like an old hotel but it's pleasant. they put up Xmas trees and decor in reception. so nice. Also there's access to a roof terrace with nice views of the sea, hills and city, which most hotels won't have location is great, close to everything in the centre, just 5-10mins walk

Location is great! 5 min to the city centre. There is a bakery / pastry shop right next to it and it is open all night (we managed to get some food at 6 AM before going to the airport). The staff is super nice and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and many options, with cakes that would vary daily. The parking was a great perk considering that outside is all paid.

In general was all great, just seems that there is no options for handicap people (there is an elevator but to get there you need to take stairs) but better to ask before going. The facilities are a bit old but nothing that would stop me to stay there again.

The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, very close to the old town and the seaside promenade, has its own parking. Breakfasts are the same every day, but everything is there - bread, cheese, ham, granola, yogurt, dessert and fruits, coffee and juices. The staff is very friendly and ready to help in any questions - we had an early departure, they helped us order a taxi to the airport and gave us breakfast to go.

The room is quite old, especially the bathroom, but everything is very clean and tidy, so it wasn't a big negative for us

Excellent location with great parking in the centre of town. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms were very comfortable and cleaned daily. As we had a very early flight it was so nice to have a picnic lunch to take with us.

Maybe something hot for breakfast would have been nice ie eggs. Unfortunately the coffee was not great so we supplemented with a good coffee in a local cafe. Otherwise, nice fresh bread, cheese, cake and fruit.

The stuff is super mega friendly!) Delicious breakfast with awesone white cheese wirh topings amd fresh fruit...pineapples! The view on the parking square snd eastern part of PDL from the 3-rd floor is quite nice! The bathroom is nice, having a antisliding rug. AC works,the bed is quite comfy. The hairdryer was provided upon request as well as an umbrella!. Nice tea making facilities!

Couldn't not figure out how to use the safe. The lift is kinda slow and tends to work from 2-3 attempt.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. Nice room and location.

Not enough plugs to charge your electronics. Only one located behind the one bedside table. You had to pull the table out to insert the european adapter. We had 2 cell phones. 2 watches to charge and I am a diabetic on an insulin pump and a sensor which also need charging. So found it very inconvenient having only one plug in the room.

Truly outstanding staff. They did everything they could to accommodate our family and specifically our 9 month old baby. The staff were the friendliest and most caring people we met on the island. Cannot say enough about them. Great breakfast as well!

It’s a busy street at night. Just bring a small sound machine. I’m a light sleeper, as is our infant, and we both slept fine.

We loved this place! The best part about this hotel is the staff - all of them were kind, helpful and truly made this stay special. The breakfast is good and has a rich bread section. The location of the hotel is excellent to explore Ponta Delgada. Rooms are clean and cozy.

My second time here & first choice for possible next time. Great location in a walking distance from city centre (marina & restaurants), shopping mall and cultural attractions - one museum and Jose Canto botanic garden are just around the corner, and so is e.g. self-service laundry. But the main bonus is the parking lot for hotel guests (for free), which turns the hotel into a hassle-free base for exploration of the whole island.

Sure, rooms are old and worn. But everything works and good prices compensate it well.
