Central location in Ponta Delgada. There is a payed car park 5 min away walking. We left always our rental car there and overnight we payed 7 ~8 € over night. The apartment is well equipped and comfy. There is a cafeteria that belongs to the same company that serves brunch and pastries throughout the day.

While staying over weekend, some bars just outside the building can get noisy. This could be a problem if you wake up easily. Not a problem for me, but my wife had a harder time in the first night.

The breakfast was not included, but the cafe that is on the ground floor is absolutely excellent with a wide variety of options from standard eggs to poke bowls. Having their orange cake in the afternoon with coffee is a must do as well. The room itself was absolutely beautiful with tons of space. There are 9 rooms in the building and all have been neautifully renovated and feel brand new. We had a corner room with views onto 2 streets through a large number of floor to ceiling windows that had wooden door-blinds for the evening. Very european and chic. My wife is sensitive to noise and this room on the 2nd from top floor was great. Also, the owner/manager{?} that met us is terrific, and the cleaning person is great. Also, the location is so central, we walked to a restaurant the first night that was 50 metres away called Ta Gente and it was excellent!

There are no hotel style facilities like a gym or pool or anything like that, it would be nice to have some suggestions for a local spa/gym in the room. There could be milk provided in the room to go with the coffee machine and pods. These are nitpicky things though - it was a terrific stay!

Absolutely loved this room with all the windows and beams and its historic charm.The kitchenette was perfect for our needs. We made daily use of the lovely cafe located on the first floor in the building.Especially grateful for indoor access on the rainy days. Had great communication with Patricia leading up to our stay. Great location to walk around Ponta Delgada and access to shopping and restaurants.

The only thought we had during our 8 night stay was we wish we had a set of drawers for our clothes to provide more storage.

Great location in historic section of town. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. They suggested nearby parking that was a great price and free overnight. The food in the cafe was excellent. Room was large and had a well equippped kitchen.

There was some noise from a bar on the pedestrian street next to the hotel. They didn't play loud music but there were a lot of patrons talking. It was really only evident on the weekends and perhaps because the weather was lovely so the patrons stayed outside. It was a bit of a culture experience for me as they kept partying all night, even after the sun came up. The hotel had provided ear plugs and I was able to sleep but the noise may disturb some guests.

This is a lovely boutique hotel. It's a little hard to find, but after you arrive, you'll be very pleased with the location. It's right between two major streets that serve some of the best food in Ponta Delgada. You are centrally located and can get to any of your activities by walking (in minutes). There is an elevator, so no need to worry about lugging baggage up, and there is a nice-sized kitchenette to keep some supplies for morning or lunch meals (there is also a little grocery store next door where you can pick up the essentials). There is a lovely cafe downstairs where you pick up your key to the room, and I had breakfast there one morning (delish) and coffee too. The two women working there are very helpful too. The bed in the room is very comfortable (I was in Sao Miguel Room), and the bathroom is very nice. I had a little balcony also, which helped me check for the status of weather and to look at what is going on in the city. Some people have noted that there is a lot of noise from the street. Knowing that, I took ear plugs, which was all I needed. Also, the windows do have shutters to close in front of the windows to help keep out morning light and assist with noise. Ponta Delgada is a bustling town, so you should expect some noise--all side streets are pedestrian traffic. Every day, the staff refilled a water bottle and gave me new towels. There are a few nice touches like some jams, cookies, and instant coffee/tea there too. It's just all around a wonderful spot. I was traveling with a friend who stayed at a high rise hotel. I loved having my own little "apartment" in the city instead! On my walking tour of the city, we passed my hotel, and when I told the guide that I was staying there, he knew the history of the building and had heard it had been restored and renovated to accommodate guests. I verified that it truly was a gem in the city.

Travelers should know that there is no parking provided for the hotel, so plan accordingly. I would imagine that if I had to transport my baggage down the cobbled streets (but wow, the streets are BEAUTIFUL), that might be a bit tough. But you could drop off your luggage, then park!

The property was spotless and well located. It was close to the center, museums nd market ye t away from the cruise ship landing. Next to it but within the building was a coffeee shop/restaurant that was just wonderful. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive in both places. They spoke English well as I speak no Portuguese.It is a small hotel and was very private and quiet. The room was well equipped. Although I did not cook there the refrigerator, microwave and tea kettle were utilized daily. I had an isssue with a non functioning light and it was fixed immediately.

The streets seem to be noisy on the weekend but not any more or lesss than other city locations.

Vert friendly welcome, location in the center, near bars and Restaurants, very well equiped (small double bed. but comfortable) and a nice café for breakfast downstairs. Nice location but expect noise all night at weekends (saturday) from the bars arround. Earplugs are provided!

Everything was very good, Parking at the parking lot of the theater 200 m away is no problem.

We had a lovely stay--the room was architecturally interesting, very clean, and suitably furnished. The vibe is purposely spare bordering on minimalist, so if a room dripping with luxurious appointments is your preference, this isn't the right hotel for you. For us, however, the room (and the whole hotel) were perfect. The location is hard to beat if you want to have easy access to the historic center and its shops, restaurants/bars, and cafes. The hotel doesn't have parking, but we kept our rental car in a parking garage that was just two blocks away.

We were on the top floor (of four), and we left our windows open throughout our stay. One night at about 4am there were a handful of people (probably drunk) in the street directly below our room who were being pretty loud. We closed the windows and that solved the problem--it wasn't the hotel's fault, of course, but rather the fault a few obnoxious people that could have been on any street in any city.

The location is perfect, and the room is super cozy. It made it difficult to leave the room!

There is a lot of noise in the area (I didn't sleep much from Saturday to Sunday because there are a lot of discos in that street). Also, there is an elevator sound every time you call it, I'd suggest the hotel to mute it since it's really annoying and kept waking me up.
