Near the center, easy to access, nearby free parking, friendly and helpful staff, nice dorm, spacious, washed towels everyday, good breakfast :)

The bed sheets are changed I believe once a week which is great, but it was so hot, which meant sweating a lot in the same bed sheets for a week :/ the towels are provided new every day which is great and unexpected, they smelled of cat though, so not sure, if someone has allergies, if that could be a problem, otherwise everything was superb

Everything about our stay was exceptional. We were welcomed by Patricia who was super nice and helpful on multiple occasions. We booked a double bedroom with a balcony and were not disappointed. The room and the bathroom were both very spacious and clean. You also had enough storage to put your clothes and your suitcases. The location was very central and we were always lucky with the free parking 2 minutes away. I already highly recommended it to my family and friends in case they wanna visit the islands.

I booked a bed in a 6 bed dormitory (only females). Ended up with only one girl next to me the whole week of my staying. Checkin is easy, they send you your personal code before your arrival so you can get into the building, your room and your locker (all these operate with code, but you get a card as well upon arrival. Also no need to bring a lockpad). The beds are well separated (one lower-bed on one side facing with an upper-bed on the other side, all having a curtain, little lamp and socket for charging your electronics). Room has AC. The bathroom shower is HUGE, you got big towel/small towel/stepping out from the shower towel and they get changed every 3 days. The room also have a sofa, a reading lamp and on the balcony a clothes rack (was super useful when I needed to dry my freshly washed clothes) with a chair. Staff was always super kind and helpful! Breakfast was great (although no veggies, they put out fruits daily ). There is a SPAR 2 min walk from the hostel and a pharmacy is really close too.

The only thing was the opportunity to wash my clothes there. They have a washing machine but only to wash the towels and sheets. If you need to wash clothes you can find a laundry place called UOCH! 5 min walk from the hostel where 4.5€ 8kg clothes to wash and 2€ to dry them.

Excellent location, modern and comfortable accommodation, with easy code access to the premises. Patricia and Helena were very helpful and super friendly. We were able to check in early as our room was ready, but they have lockers in the lobby to leave your luggage in any case. They provided extra towels for the thermal pools. Good breakfast buffet and great coffee. Obrigada por tudo! We would definitely stay there again.

The location is great, close to the center of town with a nice restaurant right across the street . Quiet and restful despite being close to many of the main sites in town. Staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions and arranging an early morning taxi. Breakfast was lovely with an outdoor seating area if you desired. Room was clean and comfortable. I was in 6 bed, women only area. I would stay here again as it was safe, convenient, comfortable and a great value. Highly recommend!!

Great and private location. Very quiet but centrally located with everything in walking distance.comfortable beds and always very clean with really nice shower. Good buffet breakfast of hot and cold dishes. Only recommendation I would ask would be for a proper toaster. Patricia from the staff is awesome. Always so helpful and friendly with lots of great information on the area and activities.

The staff were incredibly gentle and supportive, always dedicated to providing the best care for the guests. When I fell ill during my stay, they went above and beyond to support my wife in ensuring I was comfortable and well taken care of. The rooms were exceptionally spacious and peaceful. The breakfast offered an excellent variety, just the right amount to satisfy. Additionally, the kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us the convenience to cook and dine in. Detailed instructions regarding access codes, complimentary parking, and staff availability were provided in advance, ensuring a seamless experience. Overall, everything flowed smoothly.

NOTHING, I've stayed in a 5-star hotel once, and honestly, I would prefer this hostel.

Ilha Hostel and Suites was modern, perfectly located, CLEAN, quiet, centrally located but on a quiet street, secure and all-around excellent. Photos are accurate but, in reality, the space is even better than we imagined. Our room was available early which allowed us a quick nap to energize from an overnight flight. The other guests were friendly and shared information readily. The managers went way above and beyond to make our stay perfect in every way. They lent us appropriate towels for the thermal pools, shared tips on parking that were right on the mark, and, engaged with us in meaningful conversations. They sensed that we were looking to find out more about their life on the island and they responded in kind. We feel like we started a friendship that might continue, especially if we able to return to Ponta Delgada. Great choice which we highly recommend.

:) Everything was terrific.

The personnel was SO friendly, polite and positive during the check in but also during our stay there. The room was huge, next to the kitchen (but still so quite you can't imagine). The room had a little fridge and a/c, spotlessesly clean, comfortable bed. The breakfast included, was really good, with some options for savory and sweets. By all means at the best place in the center of Ponta Delgada, congratulations to all the staff 👏😀

The ping pong table had no operating small balls (they were broken).
