It was so charming in a Gatsby style boutique hotel way. I absolutely enjoyed my stay! The entire hotel staff was very friendly, and accommodating. I actually brought the wrong phone charging wire with me and Ines at the front desk was able to provide me with the right one for my stay. Thank you Ines! You saved me!The breakfast buffet had a very nice selection which included: fresh fruit and juices, different breads, croissants, and pastries. Hot foods, waffles, yogurt, teas, and coffee. It was a very nice setup. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. The bed was also super comfortable. It had a big flat screen tv, mini fridge, safe, and hot kettle with tea provided. I absolutely loved the room and didn’t want to leave!

The breakfast buffet was fresh, flavorful, varied and unlimited. It is hard to believe it was included in our daily room rate. Most of the food served at the restaurant is locally sourced and it is delicious! The staff was absolutely professional and helpful. We were worried there would be trouble communicating because we don't speak Portuguese, but they all spoke English (AASL). Our room was spacious and had a private balcony. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Best sleep I've had in years. The hotel is very clean and the rooftop pool offers incredible views of Ponta Delgada and beyond. Also very well located for walking around the city.

This is a great hotel in a fab location. Easy to walk all around ponta delgada and we even walked to the shopping mall and parks in that area. Breakfast buffet is as expected with cooked items and continental. Also a waffle machine you can make your own. Room cleaned and serviced no problems.

The pool was closed for refurbishment during our stay which we were not informed about beforehand or on arrival. It was only when we asked how to access it that they told us. They did offer use of another hotels pool but this should have been mentioned to us prior to arrival. Our room was a bit noisy from external areas, it seemed to be in a very exposed position so when it was windy and raining outside it was quite noisy in our room and the wind sounded like it was whistling right through the room but wending feel anything. I’ve forgotten the room number but it was third floor overlooking r. Diario dos acores. There was also some noise from the bacalhau when it closed in the evenings but thankfully it wasn’t open every night.

Nice charming hotel, located right in the city center, everything is close by (pharmacy, great gelateria, supermarket and so on), the hotel offers a gated parking lot for 6€ a day only a street away which was very convenient. Breakfast was alright - just very repetitive if you stay for a week. The room was big, spacious, clean, nice towels, comfy beds, nice view on the tiny park and the ocean in the distance. Pool on the roof is nice to take a refreshing dip or do some sunbathing. Staff was mostly friendly, especially the waiters and waitresses in the restaurant! The hotel was our base to explore the entire island and it was perfect for that!

No late check-out option, coffee lovers will not enjoy the one that is offered at breakfast, I’d recommend you NOT to take a room on the side of the tiny park. First of all you constantly (at all times of the day and evening) hear car tires squeak cause of a small narrow turn in the street right in front of the hotel. Second of all and this was absolutely horrible - in the building right next to the hotel there is some kind of facility where addicts spend their time - they are loud as hell at times, shout / scream/ play music - even in the middle of the night. Not really what I need during my vacation! Ask for a room that faces the side road above the hotel entrance, might be better there …

Front desk staff was helpful and quickly took care of issue of no heat. Rooftop pool was being repaired but they had an option to use a pool at another hotel if you wanted. Bed was very comfortable. We were given a suite, though reserved a regular room. I think we were in the ‘not yet updated’ area of the hotel. Some noticeable water damage. But clean and functional. Included breakfast is always a plus! We also paid to use their parking area. A tight drive in through garage door but definitely worth it.

We enjoyed the rooftop pool. Everything else was a 10/10!!! I will be back!

The fresh soft white cheese was old and hard, and the room number wasn't listed on the walls in the main area; however, all the others were listed. You had to enter a hall way to find it. One of the new receptionist gave us the wrong instructions, but we finally found our room. I presume the receptionist was newer.

We'd booked two standard rooms and were upgraded to the two bed two bath apartment which was huge and very good with a massive roof terrace. All comfortable, breakfast good, location good with a nice garden square just outside.

The shower was the least good one we encountered in the Azores where all the rest were very powerful, this one was a bit weak, but mostly the place was good.

Came directly to the hotel last minute because of a delayed flight. They were fully booked. There was a room left on the Booking website, booked it and came back to the hotel. Since there was no room left they gave me a suite! It was fantastic! The staff would also call me a taxi at 4am for my delayed flight. Wow!

The location is great, the staff friendly, the amenities on point. I recommended staying at this hotel.

The location is perfect. The staff from front desk, to restaurant, to cleaning were always friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was the best we've had at a hotel, everything was fresh and an excellent variety to choose from, it also had different options day to day. The dining menu was very good and the chef cooks some of the best food we had on the island. Will highly recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay here, exceeded expectations for the price. The Location is excellent right in the heart of PD and close to everything. The staff at front desk were great. The breakfast was good especially the breakfast waffles. Lunnch and dinner were good too. It is a quiet hotel, can't hear the neighbours and it is very clean. Recommend.

TV position in the room was awkward but got used to it, breakfast was good but breakfast options not consistent ie some mornings no sausages, bathroom was nice and spacious but a little dated. Nitpicking, small things.
