We had a very comfortable stay here. The room was very big! The breakfast, that arrives every day in a basket outside the door, is great and we loved the variety and generous amounts. We had a great sleep here as the bed is big and comfy. The hotel is in a fantastic location in the city so you can easily walk to loads of restaurants and bars but don't have to suffer the noise of any!

Mostly it felt like a premium experience but there are a few things that could and should be remedied; the faucet wobbled above the bathroom sink and should be tightened up to hold it firmly in place, there is a small void between the unit that houses the bathroom sink and the side of the shower that has accumulated a bunch of dirt and floods when using the shower, the pool could be a little cleaner (and surrounding area) and it feels like the decking is on the way out, and a few other small things that haven't been done or fixed to a high standard.

The hotel was perfectly located in the centre of PD. It is old building, previously a school I think, which has been wonderfully converted into a hotel. Our room, at the top of the building which had a separate kitchen/sofa area, was lovely and spotlessly clean - as was the rest of the hotel. Coffee and cold water are freely available in the reception area 24hr a day. The breakfast was delivered around 8am, in a wicker basket and left outside of your room. It consisted of fresh juice, freshly baked rolls and pastries, fresh fruit, charcuterie, jams and butter, eggs….absolutely wonderful. Access to hotel front door and room is by key code and the reception area is staffed until 5pm. The receptionists were very helpful when needed. We hired a car to travel around Sao Miguel and parking near to the hotel can be a little tricky but there is a free car park 2 streets away in which we had no difficulty finding spaces. BEWARE: the roads in PD are narrow! All in all we had a lovely stay at the hotel and though a little on the expensive side, thought it was worth it.

Limited outdoor space if you so needed it - which we didn't.

The convenience, the breakfast, the handy location. We were only there for one night and had to catch a plane early the next morning so the staff arranged for us to have our breakfast early which was really helpful. The beds were comfy and the place was really clean and well managed. We really liked the fact that it was in a beautiful old school building and the old pictures were great.

Not much. The lining of the pool was torn and the pool Is very small but otherwise, lovely stay (albeit brief)!

The facility has been well maintained and was very clean. Its location was perfect and quiet. Appreciated being able to stow our luggage before check in on the first day. The picnic basket breakfasts delivered to our rooms were generous in amount and varied. I liked eating in our room as a Covid safety measure and the option to have a coffee or orange infused water from the lobby at any time. Loved that the room was virtually scent-free so was thankful cleaning and laundry products used made this possible and that the windows were operational. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you for the liquor gift box!

Not having designated parking close by. The air conditioner unit in our bedroom was not functioning and couldn’t be addressed until the day we left due to the availability of the maintenance company. Thankful though that the living room unit worked so this helped mitigate the heat and humidity on the top floor.

We liked everything, it is veru comfortable and well located hotel, with internal yard for kids to play, easy to find a parking place nearby.

The breakfast was delivered in basket, all products (butter, cheese, ham) in glass tins, pre-packed by someone... We have very many doubts about these glass tins, re-used every day, did they pass desinfection every time? Some of them had traces of rust on their lids. For us its a strange way to pack food, hope they do desinfection to avoid poisoning.

The breakfast was an unexpected treat and more than adequate; we couldn't eat it all. The room was comfortable and kitchenette was well equipped. The location was quiet, but close enough to the center of Ponta Delgada that we could walk to it easily. The history of the building is interesting and they kept items of historical interest as decor.

Our windows looked out to walls of next door building, but that wasn't important to us. It looked like some of the other suites had balconies and access to the patio where you can lounge by the small pool.

The suites were very well located, 10 minutes walking from the city center (Portas da Cidade) and there is free parking very near. The hotel was a former pre-school so it has some history and it is beautiful. It is very clean, very cozy, the staff is very polite and nice, they give you info before your arrival and the pool area is so beautiful and chill. The apartment was amazing and well equipped. Also, the breakfast is amazing and you can taste some typical cakes like "bolo lêvedo" and " bolo sovado". We loved the experience!

The hole stay was amazing but, there might be an elevator for upper rooms and spots to park the car for the hotel, but it was not a problem at all.

There is not one negative thing I could say about our stay here. The staff was amazing! Super helpful and nice. Every morning you received an AMAZING breakfast basket filled with bread, cheese, eggs, milk, juice, jams, and more! I am a bit OCD, and always have high expectations for cleanliness. Our rooms/apartments exceeded my expectations. We traveled with a family of 10, and had multiple rooms. There is a beautiful private common area to gather and the kids loved playing in the small pool. They provided umbrellas if it was raining, always had fresh coffee and water, and were always willing to provide recommendations when needed. It was absolutely perfect, and we will definitely be staying here again!

the garden felt like a little oasis where we started and ended each day. for breakfast we took the picknick basket outside to the picknick table every morning. the night when we decided to eat our take out pizza and pool leisure (1.20m deep, perfect for our youngest) was great too. very friendly staff reachable during the day also for questions about island trips. cute cat living in the garden who loved cuddles. comfy beds with such beautiful cozy light from the bed lamps next to beds, 2 spacious showers we staid in the downstairs suite from where we had direct access to the garden. that was great

everything was great. really small minor points: - parking in the street was a bit getting used to, but really no issue. - sometimes we heard the upstairs neighbours walking loudly above our bedroom. (didn't wake up from it)

Staff was very helpful and really tried to run the extra mile. Good location. garden was very calm and not occupied by guests. Staff provided great manual how to check in, must see, parking options, etc.... for short stays 3-4 night it is great option

- some minor things needs renovation, but if you are not expecting 4/5 stars services, it is absolutely OK. - for the first time parking could be challenge, but we are able easily used to it
