Excellent breakfast along with big comfortable bed, the mattress was of really good quality. We had an issue in the middle of the night with the bar fridge. Supposedly the coils or the Freon was leaking causing a strong chemical smell. Glad my wife noticed the smell as I was asleep. I went down to the front desk and the gentleman came up and removed the fridge and changed us to another room. The next morning I told them my wife was nauseous and that we did not want to stay in this room as we still had 6 nights left in our stay. Luckily they found another room for the remaining of our stay. They gave us a suite which was appreciated. I would definitely stay in the this hotel if we decide to stay in Ponta Delgada as our home base.

The staff at breakfast do not acknowledge or make eye contact with guests while they are walking in the room.

I've been there a week with my son. The hotel looks renewed and the facilities are nice, clean, modern. The room is large, clean, with balcony. Tea facilities, fridge, safe, and a powerful and big shower. The location of the hotel is convenient too, very close to the airport (~10EUR with the taxi, 10-15 minutes) and to the main attractions of Ponta Delgada and transports. We used buses for our entire stay, they are reliable and we reached many locations and beaches with them. A nice bakery just outside the hotel

Breakfast is repetitive as it's the same every day and they only have 1 coffee machine, so at times there is a queue to get your drink.

The room and bathroom were spacious and well-sized. The shampoo and conditioner were of good quality, and the air conditioning and heating systems worked perfectly. Breakfast was excellent, and the location was very convenient. A thoughtful touch was the traditional Christmas cake they offered us in the room, which we really appreciated. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

The noise at night was quite disturbing. It felt like there were no walls, as we could hear a lot of sounds from neighboring rooms. Additionally, an unprofessional touch was the bottle of water labeled with a €2 price tag. It felt unnecessary for such a nice hotel to charge for water—I believe they don’t really need that extra revenue.

The breakfast for us was the highlight! Excellent selection, exactly what we needed to get the day going. The rooms were quite quiet as well. The beds were comfortable, and the size of the room was generous. Location was great as well. Also, we really appreciate they had special towels to borrow for hot springs, smart! Also, having a power plug for North American phones helped! We’d probably stay here again though.

Maintenance of the property! Our room was quite banged up, chipped sink, scuffed walls, clogged shower, the list was getting long. Seriously, some quick refreshing is all that’s needed to have this hotel excellent! Also, king bed is really 2 doubles pushed together…if that’s something that matters to you.

Very clean, modern with an eco-friendly vibe. Large room and bed. Excellent rain shower. Shower did not leak water which is a problem in so many hotels. Abundant towels. Good quality Portuguese soap products. All rooms have fridges, kettles and tea. Room had a spacious balcony. Breakfast included. Free bottle of water in every room. I received a birthday cake and lovely note for my birthday. Good value for money.

It would have been nice if there was coffee packets and cream included with the kettle. I think the walls between rooms are pretty thin.

We chose this place for the central location and free parking. Both were great. The hire car was very safe in the car park and it was a quick 15 minutes walk into centre of Ponta Delgada. The breakfast was excellent and you can eat outdoors if there is space. Unlike other reviews we found there was always plenty of food and choice. The bed was extremely comfortable and room was spotless. The aircon was very much needed and worked well. The shower and bathroom were lovely and plenty of hot water. We loved our stay. It suited all our needs.

Our room was on the street side so it was a little noisy at times but otherwise fine.

Good Location. Just up the hill from the busy port area. And 2 blocks from a quaint selection of restaurants (including O Tasca, yummy) Parking area is wonderful, when inside the compound walls. It was very quiet and curtains provided a wonderful dark sleeping environment. Shower water pressure was a joy, and the soap products very nice. Nice soft towels, but I would love to have a smaller washcloth included with the bath and hand towels. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We chose one of the suites (Azores Suite). Breakfast buffet was average, but plentiful. Staff were very nice and always smiling.

Parking overflow was a dark, dirt, muddy lot without any cameras. I was not at all happy to park our rental car there. I'm 100% certain one of the scuffs to the plastic front under bumper was incurred in this lot, due to the darkness. I was very disappointed to learn that they do not give fresh coffee pods in the room when you stay multiple nights. This is generally a normal amenity to have freshened up daily with cleaning, but this property seems to have determined the cost of providing daily room coffee is more than the cost of client discontent. They do have coffee pods available for sale.

The hotel is modern, well located, accessible from the center and has everything for a nice stay. The parking space is really a big plus, as the parking spots on the street can be difficult to find in that area.

The breakfast needs to be improved; I agree with previous comments that the variety offered is poor, especially regarding fruit and jams, I was expecting more options. Also the reposition of missing products can take some time. They would charge 2€ for the bottle of water that they leave in the room, which is normally a courtesy in most of the places, that was strange.

Great location, close to the city center, large parking area. The hotel after a general renovation, looks much much better than before (although in details the quality of the renovation work is tragic).

Breakfast - the same menu every day, very little choice, not a single piece of vegetables (in the middle of the vegetable season).

The location was good, very close to Ponta Delgada center. Also a large parking area within the hotel compound was very useful. The room was large. Also a kettle for making tea and a small fridge (for some reason no coffee was provided).

The breakfast selection was basic - the usual croissant, some ham and eggs etc. Would have liked wider selection and some variety. There was always a long line of people waiting for coffee (only one machine available and this machine worked really slowly) which was seriously annoying.
