I have traveled to Europe and other places before, and I don’t think I have experienced the hospitality and family type environment that this location offered. They thought of everything from the first moment you walked into the last moment when you left this location. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, courteous, Informative, helpful, and a true pleasure to have met! You can tell there’s a lot of love pride and hard work that is put into this establishment the owner(s) we’re on site and extremely friendly, kind, helpful, and pleasant to speak with. If/when I come back to the Azores, I will be visiting with them again. I think you all members of the team for all you do and did for me & my granddaughter!!

This hotel was amazing! The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed. It was clean and felt newly renovated. The location was perfect in the city near everything. The staff was very service minded, nice and helped with all the questions we had. They also remembered that I mentioned that we were celebrating an anniversary and gave us a bottle of sparkling wine! We also appreciated the digital information we received through a webpage and to our email with all the information we needed for our stay to work perfectly. And last but not least, the breakfast! It was fantastic and we really liked it! We have stayed at many hotels and what makes this hotel stand out is how much of an effort they made to make our stay perfect.

We liked everything!

The room was clean and a lot of things that make it our home. And they use local products for welcome snacks - typical Azorean biscuits and local tea. This way they introduce us to the local culture. The stuff is very kind and thoughtful. For instance we stay only one night in this hotel with early flight in the morning and because of this short stay they gave us access to the room earlier than usual. They prepared for us breakfast for go too. Their recommendations about nice local restaurants were very helpful. Thank you. We like the saunas. There is even a swimming pool on the roof.

Being able to curate your own breakfast is a nice touch (v tasty too), although you need to get used to ordering the day before. Lots of space and nice decor throughout the building. The pool on the roof is special!

There's a massive high tech smart TV in the room that could do with the ability to cast from phones or have some of the apps installed so you can login to your subscriptions as that isn't possible at the moment. Quite a shame not to be able to use it. Our room (1) had a big electric water heater in a cupboard that was occasionally quite loud.

Casa da Galeria is an oasis within an island oasis. It wasn’t just the attention to detail that was noteworthy, but their attention to clients was truly inspiring. I have never felt so genuinely welcomed by every staff member as I did during our week long stay at Casa da Galeria. The impeccable apartment was spacious and very well thought out. The location is perfect to launch day trips around the island. Custom breakfast was served daily, plus for dinner you could prepare food in or go out on the town, ending the day with a super comfortable bed. The owners are art lovers, which reveals itself throughout the building as well as a gallery attached to the lobby. We absolutely loved our stay there.

Very modern bright and airy hotel and rooms, large comfortable bed, the best electrical kitchen equipment, fab big breakfast delivered every day at a time to suit you, attentive friendly staff, free delicious chocolates at reception, lovely edible gift on leaving and great but quiet location.

Everywhere else in the town has a small balcony or doors to open wide (with railings) to let in the air. Number 9 apartment only has windows you can tilt. Lack of cutting knives - only a bread knife.

Casa da Galeria was absolutely amazing and the staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and had a lot of closets for us to store our clothes and luggage. The location is very good, minutes away from restaurants and the city center. I love that we had the breakfast in our room and we got to pick what to have for breakfast each morning. The staff is very friendly and they helped us make reservations, gave us great recommendations and made us feel at home there. We really had a wonderful time at Casa da Galeria and we plan on staying here again the next time we visit Ponta Delgada. A big thank you to everyone there who made our stay amazing!

The location was very central so it was close to where we wanted to go. The facilities were amazing, especially the fully furnished apartment, and the rooftop swimming pool. The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was extremely filling and tasty. It felt like a home away from home. The staff did nice little touches that went the extra mile.

Nothing we didn't like at all. We would definitely go back there.

I loved absolutely everything about this property. I was welcomed by the most friendly staff and impressed by all the modern furnishings. The daily breakfast was delivered to my room and was fresh and absolutely satisfying. The garage was very convenient to use. I loved my room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a nice big size. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful visit to Ponta Delgada.

There is absolutely nothing I disliked. Everything met my expectations.

I have never left a 10/10 review before but honestly this will go down as one of the most pleasurable hotel experiences we've ever had, anywhere. From a very reasonably priced airport transfer to a surprise birthday cake for our son, nothing was too much effort. The facilities and set-up are also fantastic with an amazing breakfast and a full kitchen in our room. We will make sure we stay here again when we're next in Ponta Delgada, and we'd recommend you do too.

Not having more time here
