The location was very good, the breakfast is tasty with local products. Clean and calm place. Some cars cant enter the street but for tours the pick up point is quite close. Reception let us keep our bags in locker room for free as we arrived couple hours early for check in.

Everything was good. Maybe just the fact that they don’t replace towels even if you throw all of them on the dirty floor, they just hang towels back up. We only saw letter in the room saying for towels to be replaced they need to be in bathtub. First time seeing this rule, but we ended up using same dirty floor towels for five days :) “clean the room” badge only made our bed, as even tea cups stayed as used in random spots as they were.

Breakfast is fine, good choice of everything. If you stay more than 2-3 nights, it becomes a bit boring but still OK. Beds are very comfortable, it was quiet in the night. There is a smal fridge in the room so we had our own spirits and some non alcoholic drinks there. It was possible to get some ice for the drinks from reception. Staff at reception was very friendly and helpfull. All together 9-10

Wifi didn't work sometimes, we got an access to staff wifi but it didn't help on the floor where we stayed. Also coffee for breakfast was from a coffee machine and i.e. latte machiato was a disaster.

Very central location and good breakfast! It was a quiet street but near many restaurants and shops, which was great. Breakfast included breads, pastries, eggs and bacon, pancakes, fruit, yoghurts, cheese and cured meats, etc. I had a little problem with my original room because the bathroom had a bad smell, but they moved me to a different room immediately.

Everything was up to standard. To suggest a possible improvement: having one thicker firmer pillow would help with different body types and sleeping types.

- The breakfast was very good, with bacon and scrambled eggs, several types of bread, cereals, fruits, etc. - The room was large and clean, and the beds comfortable. - The room was equipped with two chairs, a table, a large desk, and a big closet. - Great with 24 h reception, and nice staff. - Great location, close to the city center, a nice park, and a good ice cream bar.

- The two chairs in the room seemed to be close to fall into pieces. - The warm dishes at the breakfast were quite cold.

Great location, quiet during the night, still very close to everything. The room was tidy, clean and the bed comfortable.

The rooms are not very sound proof, you can hear everything. The breakfast in general was good although the bread seemed dried out already in the beginning. The tea will always taste a little bit like coffee, as the hot water runs through the same machine.

Best Hotel in Ponta Delgada. Breakfasts were excellent, the best croissants in the world and the best bacon I've ever eaten. Rooms clean and warm. We spent a week there. Our stay at the hotel was great. The service was nice and helpful. I feel like going back to these wonderful islands again and I will choose exactly the same hotel. Thank you

The Staff really made this hotel special. Especially Front Desk clerk Marlene. She arranged for a rental car for us that was brought to the Hotel by the rental car company and even phoned and made restaurant reservations for us. The location is very central to the Old Town and to the waterfront. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The only reason I didn't give a perfect score was the room was dark but this was probably because it was on the 1st floor. Was definitely good value for the price.

Really this hotel was as advertised. Basic, clean and the staff very helpful.. Really nothing negative to report.

Very central location and 10-mn away from the airport. We stayed 1 night before heading to the east. Room was quite big and bathroom ok. Breakfast was varied and I would rate it 3 stars. Street is very narrow but easy to find a parking if needed. They keep the luggage in a storage room after check-out if needed. Good restaurants nearby.

Nothing special.

Perfect location right in the middle of Ponta Delgada. The hotel has a private free parking lot right by. Fine size of the room. The reception is open 24h a day and they are ready to hel all the time. The breakfast was ok, but pretty much the same every day.

Nice room, extremely comfortable beds, good shower.

Ridiculously small breakfast room for the number of people it served. Badly designed layout and not enough tables meant it was crowded and some people had to eat their breakfast standing up. No stairs - you had to take a lift even to the first floor. That's not sustainable.
