Good location to the airport (Max 10‘ by taxi), clean & cozy, hairdryer , check-in & check out without problems , clean bathroom

2separate beds, hairdryer in the hall of the apartment,not in the bathroom(short cable to get to the bathroom), no bottle of water to drink or to buy //fridge missing

It was a very pleasant experience staying at Thomas Place. The hotel is located in a calm place and very close to the center of Ponta Delgada in a walking distance from cafes/supermarkets and bust stops, which was important for us as we used public transport to travel. It has a common kitchen place with a fridge, tea/coffee maker and fresh water, you can cook food if you want. The room was cleaned and towels changed every day. The staff at the reception is available during the day and is very open to any request. So basically this place even exceeded our expectations.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. Their warm hospitality truly stood out. The hotel's location is perfect. The room was lovely ,comfortable, and spotlessly clean. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose it again for my next visit.

The staff here are great. They allowed us to check-in early and were very helpful in getting us a taxi to the airport and were very friendly overall. The location is pretty good too as it is only a 10 minute walk to the centre.

It is a budget hotel so I wasn't expecting it to be fancy but I do think they could do with checking up on the fixtures and fittings in the rooms. For example, the toilet roll holder in our bathroom was almost falling off the wall. Handles and things like that were loose and would just need to be tightened with a screwdriver. However, these are just small details that can be easily fixed and everything else was good for a few nights stay.

I only stayed for one night and left the room very early in the morning to catch my flight so I don't have any idea of the shared spaces and facilities. However, the room was very spacious. Check-in and check-out were very easy, with codes to open the doors sent via message. Also, the staff kindly booked a taxi to the airport on our behalf.

I had the impression that the room floor wasn't very clean. The location is good for going around but my room was facing a tiny yet noisy street. Actually, with windows closed, one could barely hear voices and cars, but I don't like air con and preferred fresh air from the outside rather than cold humidity.

Had pleasant experience at this accommodation. The location was excellent, making it easy to walk to the city center and various restaurants. The room was clean and well-maintained, although a bit small, but it was perfect for a one-night stay. An added bonus was its proximity to the airport, making it very convenient for our early morning flight. The check-in process was seamless with the self-check-in system. Receiving all the necessary information via message was a huge help and took the stress out of arriving late and leaving early. I recommend it to anyone looking for a practical and comfortable solution.

Bathroom in the room. Had shampoo, which was a nice surprise. It was clean too. Easy entry, with a smooth checkin and checkout process. Gate code made it feel safe. Emails with all the information. Safe area. No frills type of place. Quick walking distance to town. Comfortable beds. Enough space for whole family. Good area for kitchen, even though we didn't use it. We didn't see other people and only here for a night so it was hard to judge service any other way, but we were happy with our choice.

Narrow street, not easy to park. Don't plan on having lots of luggage and you'll be okay. We parked 3 blocks away and only 5 minutes to walk. Not very comfortable pillow, a bit lumpy, but not a problem for 1 night. However, these really were not a big issue at all, just noting some things about the place that you might want if you were staying at a hotel chain.

Good location - close to the center, marina, shops and restaurants. Very nice and comfortable room, with a small balcony which guaranteed fresh air, nice bathroom with all necessary equipment. Daily cleaning and change of towels, very clean. Amazing terrace on top floor (fantastic sunset view!), big and clean dining room, also with a nice view, kitchen well equipped. Very nice and helpful staff!

Not the nicest neighbourhood to walk alone at night, but during the day it was ok.

Very clean, with a comfortable bed, large tv, easy walking distance to the Municipal Market and the town center/marina. Right across the street from the University. Quiet location. Arrival was easy with the code that they emailed, since it was after reception hours. Staff was also friendly. It was great for the value for a one-night stay.

I know it's more of a self-service location, however if they could even have some tea bags available in the kitchen that would be a nice touch. Parking is free on the street, you just might have to drive around the block a time or two to find a spot.
