The hotel was well located and we enjoyed watching the habor activity from our balcony. It was within walking distance of the downtown shops and restaurants. The size of the room was large and comfortable. The balcony was very comfortable and we enjoyed watching the activities from the balcony after a long day of exploring the island/city

The parking deck was below the hotel was tight. We traveled with our family so had a larger car. It was a bonus having a place to park but it could be difficult getting in an out. Parking in the entire city was tight so really this was a positive having a deck below the hotel. Cost was reasonable as well.

It was excellent overall and we loved our room with its super view. The Room Cleaners were great, as were the Bar Staff, and the Reception Team were also first-class. The Porters we had were very nice and helpful. The Indoor Pool was superb and the Gym good. The Hotel Location is brilliant.

We dined out most evenings but, on the one or two occasions that we dined in, the food quality was not great and the ambiance very lacking for dinner. The one area of the hotel that had a real problem was Breakfast. It was almost exactly the same each day with not enough variety and there was a significant negative attitude on the part of some of the Staff. They seemed like an unhappy team unlike everywhere else in the Hotel.

We had a suite with a sea view, so our opinion is a reflection of that The rooms were spacious and very comfortable with plenty of storage The bed was huge and very comfortable. The air conditioning was great. It was really nice to have a balcony overlooking the sea Some reviews refer to road noise - there is a road in front of the hotel, but it is not exactly busy, and it certainly did not disturb us - in fact, we slept with the window open one night The buffett breakfast was ample, although the dining room was very busy at times We were too busy seeing San Miguel to use the outdoor pool, but it looked great We used the indoor pool and jacuzzi once, and it was lovely.

Located right at the marineside avenue (perfect for whalewatching trips and exploring Ponta Delgada). We shared a 3-person room, which was very spacious with good beds. The inside pool was gorgeous!

* There was only parking available for a fee, and the staff did not alert us of the fact that from 1pm on Saturday onwards, parking by the streets is free. * The breakfast was pretty basic, and the seating area was too small. We sat in the lobby, and saw several groups having to wait for quite a while.

The hotel was lovely, everything was clean, comfortable and staff were friendly and always willing to help. The view from our balcony was beautiful, the location of the hotel is perfect if you have excursions booked or want to book whilst you are visiting as a lot of the tour companies have kiosks opposite the hotel. Breakfast has everything you could want.

Location was phenomenal! Very, very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pools (indoor and outdoor) were wonderful although there wasn’t much seating room outside for the size of the hotel. Breakfasts were plentiful and good although after nine mornings there wasn’t much variation in what was served. The view from our room was magnificent!

A couple of small details (read above) and the cost per night was a bit high for the room type. Although clean and comfortable, it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.

The staff was super nice, friendly and professional. The hotel location is amazing with great views and close to everything. The rooms are spacy however a little stuffy due to full carpeted floors (allergies). The pool and jacuzzi are definitely a bonus!! The bar food was amazing and the staff incredible!! Overall a wonderful experience!

The breakfast was disappointing to us. The fresh fruits and cheese had no taste and there was no fresh juice which is sad for an island that has great fruits and cheeses. The coffee was also a little bland. The selection however was great.

The rooms were cleaned daily, and the maids were very good. The front Receptionists were very helpful. Breakfast had so much variety, and I loved the different coffees. The location is excellent. This was our second time staying at the Atlantico. Hopefully we will stay there again. Looking to spend a longer period of time if they have a rate for longer stays.

To be honest, there was nothing complain about. The bellman was so helpful, as we had gone shopping, and he always assisted us with putting our luggage in our rooms ahead of our stay. Well Done ! Atlantico

The location was fabulous, close to the airport and all the things you want to see in Ponta Delgada. Very walkable to cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed the sauna facilities, such a treat after a long day exploring the island. The staff were very friendly and cleaning staff did a fabulous job of making sure room was spotless. Breakfast was good, great selection of breads and cheese, and different fruit juices was nice. More variety of fruits would’ve been nice. I would for sure come and stay here again!

There were dogs that would regularly bark in the evening, it was quite loud. The Air Conditioner in the room blew directly on to two of the three beds in room and did not even reach one of the beds; making for an uncomfortable sleep for some.
