The hotel is quiet, clean and located in the middle of the tourist area in the city and opposite the port. The hotel has a side view of the sea. The rooms are cleaned daily and they provide you with the missing soap, conditioner, coffee and tea. The staff are cooperative and the hotel is air conditioned and has a refrigerator in the room and the hotel provides you with a bottle of water. The staff are cooperative whether at the reception or room service. There is also a bidet in the bathroom which is very good addition. Ponta Delgada is wonderful and there are many tourist attractions in it. You need to rent a car to tour the island or rely on tours from tourist companies and their prices are acceptable.

The island is remote from the mainland , so , you should better try to make a stop station in Lisbon day before and after your flight date ( if your flight is not direct from home town to there)

Excelente location, taxis all the time available, staff very nice and helpful, the only thing is that you can hear every from another rooms and there is not shampoo or any kind of kit I the hotel room.

Location, staff, taxi out available, and very good cafeteria cross the street . For us wasn’t worth to pay the 12.50 euros for breakfast when you can get it for 3 euros cross the street. Knowing all this we are willing to book it again for three days.

Ponta Delgado has a problem concerning noisy drunks who yell all night on rua de Mercadores. Close the window if you face that street. Hot water was sketchy on the 4th floor for 2 days

Only stayed one night the facilities were clean and well kept. All necessities available

Although the front desk staff may be lovely people, they had a not so good attitude when we arrived for check in. The situation was eventually rectified but was enough to damper the mood

The location is good, it's almost in the city center near the coastline at the same time the room was quiet. The bed is comfortable, Wi-Fi is working, bathroom water is hot. Not bad.

The hotel doesn't provide a kettle. They don't have it at all - when I asked for it, they proposed me to wait 10 minutes until the cooler heats up so I can get hot water. Imagine yourself going down from the 8th floor at night to wait 10 minutes and get hot water to make yourself a drink. That's really strange.

The location of the room and the hotel were excellent. However, we did not eat breakfast at all there. We found the variety of food was poor and for $3 per person more, we had a very good variety of food at Hotel Gaivota.

I only had breakfast one day at the hotel as I preferred to have breakfast at some of the local coffeeshops

The location is very convenient: in the heart of Ponta Delgada and 10’ away from the airport. The perfect starting point to explore the entire island. The staff was very nice, especially Carolina Vieira. She helped us with all our answers: free car park, restaurants and what to do if it is raining. Her kindness, warmth and generosity really made our stay very special! Highly recommended!

The air conditioning in the breakfast area was quite high

Good hotel, a bit overpriced like most in Azores (supply vs demand). Nice clean room, all satisfactory.

We had an early departure to catch a flight and organised a taxi, but in the morning they'd forgotten to do it and no taxi could come for 20 minutes so we had to try our luck in the street. A bit nervewracking.

Quiet reception area. Fridge in room was absolutely silent. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. The shampoo was fragrant.

For room to be cleaned at a set time. Would have been nice to have a bar at the hotel.
