Fabulous accommodation with a gorgeous view down to Mosteiros and over the ocean. Very welcoming and friendly staff, and nothing was too much trouble when requested. Breakfast was excellent - loads of choice and very fresh food.

Nothing here to dislike. The view and location make it worth the drive into the local town. It could be walked but not recommended in the evening towards dark as there is no hard shoulder - and it is all uphill back to the accommodation!

The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean from the room and from the pool. The staff does a phenomenal job making guests feel comfortable. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The kitchenette has everything one needs to do some stove-top cooking. There are only six rooms, so it feels quite exclusive - as a result, it is very relaxing, particularly if you want to lay out by the pool all day. The location is also perfect - with a car you can be anywhere on the island in under 1.5 hours. I highly recommend this hotel.

The property was superb. Small, quiet and beautiful. The view from our room, the pool and the breakfast room was spectacular. The room was spacious and well appointed with a very comfy bed and a great shower. We had a lovely welcome from the staff and they were all very sweet throughout our stay. You can make your own meals in the room, but we ordered the room service each night- it was simple and delicious, not like your typical room service food! The included breakfast was superb. The hotel is perfectly placed for serenity but also a good launch pad for activities on that side of the Island. It was too cool -for us -to swim- but I do regret not using it! There is also a common room open to the pool with couches for reading and relaxing. A note to guests. The road is narrow - like most on the Island-with some local traffic including a local bus! Honk as you go around the corners! When you get to the hotel sign go past it to the next street, turn right, then back up and go back towards the hotel in the opposite direction so you can easily get up the driveway- especially if you have not driven a manual car for some years!

The room was clean modern and spacious. Oceanview was amazing! They served us breakfast in our room. It was so much food, including eggs! The staff were eager to help us with any request from things to do, where to eat and what the tide schedule was. Having snack items available to order was an added bonus as we chose not to leave the property since it was so beautiful and just ordered off the snack/drink menu and everything was brought to our room with no room service fee!

Mosteiros Place is a gem. A small, lavish hotel overlooking the most beautiful bay on the island. I also think that Mosteiros has the best beach and best village. The room are spacious and well equipped.

So, breakast. There is a small but tasty selection but it seems everything that is served is counted. Several of the breakfast items are missing and they take ages to refill them and when they do they bring very small quantities so they go fast.

Beautiful rooms, pool area, and breakfast lounge. The view of the ocean is unparalleled. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and took care of anything we needed.

It is in the northwest corner of the island, so be prepared an hour or more if you want to explore the east side of the island. We knew that going in, so no problems. It’s worth the driving distance because of how exceptional the stay was.

The place is in an amazing location with a stunning view. Modern and very well kept. Nice surrounding. Hiking down to the village and beach gives a striking view. The natural pools at the coast are worth the visit. As the kitchen was being remodeled, we got excellent breakfast served in the room every morning, which we anyway would have preferred.

Loved our stay at Mosteiros! We were met with warm reception by Adriana and David, and they continued to make our stay exceptional. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was always ready and offered a variety of breads, fruit, cheese, meat and they will prepare eggs and specialty coffees (delicious Cafe com Leite!) if you please. The view from the rooms is spectacular. Safe, free parking. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but we loved the peace and quiet when returning from a long day out and about. Gorgeous, clean pool. I'd like to give special props to Adriana and Vanessa who always met us with genuine smiles, great tips, good conversation, amazing hospitality and generally just went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Hard to find any fault with our stay. Bedding could be upgraded to slightly more comfortable mattresses but we slept just fine! This location will not be ideal if you don't have a car, but we found it no issue with transportation.

Excellent view of the ocean and the rock formations just off the coast. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Included breakfast was good, and made to order during the slow season. Eggs, bacon, packaged yogurt, cereal/granola, meats and cheeses, croissants and bread, local jams, butter, and even little sandwiches. It was a feast!

Location was a bit challenging. It’s way up on the huge hill overlooking the town, so don’t expect to walk up and down unless you’re pretty fit. But certainly not a major issue to drive everywhere, though the driveway is a bit funky, you can only really enter coming one way down the road. If you’re coming from the other direction you need to pull a u-turn after passing it.

The stay was very pleasant. The staff is very attentive, friendly, fulfilled my special requests. It was great that the hotel was able to order light meals and drinks. Also, the apartment had a very cozy kitchen connected to the living room. Very large TV. Generous breakfast. Amazing views from the window, privacy.

Compared to the view in the photos, the exterior of the hotel looks a bit different, not so fresh.My sense of smell is very delicate , so one thing that made me feel uncomfortable in the apartament was the smell of dampness and mold.
