The staff was very accommodating and front desk reception was available 24/7. The apartment was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the baby cot provided was spacious and comfortable. The anemities (indoor and outdoor pool, Turkish bath, etc) were great. It has a spacious parking lot, and also free parking on the street. They do a beautiful job landscaping the grounds.

The apartment bathtub was difficult to get in and out of, especially if you are traveling with anyone who has mobility issues/children. There is no safety handle/railing, and the bathtub is quite tall and slippery to step out of. The apartment kitchen provided the basics, but was small and didn't have some essentials (like paper towels/napkins). The restaurant had a great breakfast spread, but other meals weren't impressive. There aren't many restaurants or coffee shops within a few minutes walking or driving distance.

It's a nice hotel with a good location, as you can reach all the sites very quickly. We have decided for this hotel, as in this time of the year (stayed December, over Christmas) the weather is not always good. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. We used them every day. The gym is also well equipped. We stayed in an appartment and did not use the restaurant facilities. The room view was towards the outdoor pool, but right and left, we had nice views towards mountains and the ocean. Generally, it was a wet side, so we couldn't get the swimming suites dry on the balcony.

You need to ask for room cleaning a day before. We didn't need the cleaning frequently and were supposed to have some money saved. However, you can use it in the bar and restaurant only and not for the coffee that you have in the appartment, very strange system.

We stayed in an apartment with a kitchenette, which was a great option. The kitchenette had just about everything we needed to make our own meals. There were two pools, which was also a great feature. It was a little cool in late March/early April for the outdoor pool, so having an indoor pool allowed our daughter to have plenty of swim time. The island of Sao Miguel is pretty small, so it is not too far to drive to most places from the hotel. We found the staff friendly and accommodating.

Overall a decent place with a nice outdoor and indoor pool, as well as spa facilities. The sauna and Turkish bath were an extra bonus. Good bar, although I found the breakfast a little bit overpriced. The rooms are starting to show their age and the soundproofing is not up to modern standards. The grounds are well kept and there is ample parking. Location is relatively good in a quiet part of the island. Nice views overlooking the car park. Staff are kind, professional and courteous.

The rooms are really starting to show their age a bit and, while the kitchenette is perfectly acceptable, perhaps a little mood lighting would not go amiss.

Nice and clean property, good area to start your day trips from. The apartment was good compared to local standard. The breakfast was very good.

Our apartment faced the pool and building entrance so it was noisy.

Apartment had everything that we needed to cook. Nice property and can request cleaning on days that needed vs daily. Great to sit around the pool. Very clean property. Would definitely go back.

Saw cockroaches near garbage area in parking lot but being to this island many times in the summer, it is expected with the climate. Did not see any in the apartment complex.

The rooms were quite cozy and comfortable. The kitchenette had all the necessary utensils to produce a good meal for a couple! Due to bad weather, we didn't get the chance to try the outdoor pool, however the indoor pool was quite relaxing. Breakfast was quite expansive and varied and the staff were always ready to help!

The gym facility is a little bit neglected. The cycling bikes are rusty and need some lubricant to make them work properly. The peck deck machine and the inner thigh machine were either broken or rusty. They were not functional at the very least. In this, I would either recommend a gym machine tech to take a look at all the equipment, repair all the needed equipment and take advantage of his maintenance visit and ask him how the gym facilities could be improved without making to high of an investment.

The hotel is nice and clean. The room was big. The bathroom is a bit old.

The sauna and hamam don't work unless you ask in advance. Minimal vegetables in the breakfast, but this seems to be the standard in the area.

kind staff, super comfortable bed, coffee and tea in the rooms, environmental aware managing the usage of towels providing options to the guests- brilliant idea :) great pool!
