Spacious modern 2 bedroom apartment. Well located with amazing seafront view. Restaurants and beaches near by, and only 5 mins drive from Ponta Delgada. Very responsive owner. Kitchen well equipped to cook meals. Modern appliances. Lots of closet space in each bedroom. Very convenient having a washer and dryer in the apartment, especially during rainy periods. AC and heating worked well. No issues finding overnight parking during first week of April. About 200 ft away. Very comfortable apartment that can easily accommodate up to 4 people. We will stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Fernanda for looking after us!

We loved that is a little bit outside of Ponta Delgada as it was easy to park everyday and promoted relaxation especially with the sea just across from the window. However Ponta Delgada was still close enough that we could be there in 5 min by car. We also loved that the apartment had washing machine and drier which was a must with kids and Azorean trekking. We had a lovely time and we would definitely recommend.

Comfortable and luxurious appartament equipped with everything one can possibly need. Big terrace with barbecue facilities overlooking the ocean. Direct access to the beach,in the neighborhood there are some restaurants too.

Check in process was quite complicated,nobody picked up the given number,so we were standing for one hour in front of the building. We should have gotten an e-mail before with the exact address and the PIN code,but we haven't. We've already called Booking.com service center for help,finally other guests told us,how to contact the owner.

The apartment was spacious and beautiful. Lots of room for two couples (if one couple doesn't mind twin beds). The kitchen was well equipped and there was laundry and beach towels were supplied. The apartment was very close to the beach (very big waves!) and a few restaurants. Really liked the balcony for great views - can be noisy with cars and motorcycles driving by but can't hear them in the bedrooms as they are towards the back of the apartment. There is a small grocery store about 5 minutes away with some veg. fruit and baked goods.

There was a bit of a smell in the apartment - I think it was connected to the water in the apartment. There was no paper towels, hand soap, serviettes, etc provided - things that I have come to expect in other rentals I have been in. Parking was on the street - so you had to find a spot (no charge which was good). We liked the parking lot by the Hotel Barracuda - a five minute walk from the apartment. If you want to go into the city centre it is about a 10 minute drive (10E taxi ride).

Fantastic location right on the beach, we were in one of two apartments (Jason and Jonathan) which have direct access (over rocks) to the beach The others are further down, on the other side of the road. Just a 10-15 min drive from the airport and town. Lovely terrace and balcony. Very spacious apartment, with everything you need, including a large laundry room! The only gripe is that no toiletries are provided (fair enough but the listing specifically says toiletries are provided so that should be changed for accuracy) and as a matter of course, and hygiene, every bathroom should be provided with hand wash or soap from arrival. There was only one in one bathroom. I would think the apartment would be difficult with small children due to the stairs, and the front door opening straight on to a quite a fast, busy road (no pavement) but for us this was no problem. Can very much recommend Apartament Jonathan 👍

Thanks to the host, we were upgraded to Apartment Jonathan and it was one of the best thought out holiday homes I have been to. Being able to constantly hear the calming noise of the waves, direct access the ocean, the outdoor shower, washer and dryer and ample space outdoors and indoors to hang out together - truly amplified our experience. Perfect home for 4!

Great location, beautiful views, clean, well equipped. We had a great stay here - little grocery store and fruit/vegetable shop close by. Parking was easy to find up the road. As other people noted, bring your own toiletries (soap, laundry soap, shampoo, etc) - which in my opinion is common sense while travelling anyway! A/C worked great too. Would definitely stay here again. Also as others noted, main door opens on to the street but this is Europe and very common. We didn’t have any issues at all.

Amazing location. Balcony overlooks the beach. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Appreciated the beach towels. The check in instructions from the host were very clear and easy to follow.

The air conditioners in the main rooms were fabulous, but bedrooms did not have A/C or a fan. Got a bit hot at night. The recommended parking lot was closed for an event during our stay, which made us nervous about finding a spot in the evenings, but we got lucky with roadside parking nearby.

Gorgeous location, right next to a popular surfing beach. Had everything you could need for a vacation, really beautiful place. Yes some musk as mentioned in the other reviews but a consequence of being right on the ocean and totally worth it. Parking was easy and the space was conducive to relaxation and working if you needed to.

Beds were a bit hard but comfortable, as mentioned in other reviews would be nice to have laundry detergent and shower gel.

Did not like the unsafe front entrance with no sidewalk and cars and buses speeding by. Downstairs shower head is unique but not practical as it does not remain secure while in use.
