The staff was very accommodating and the property was lovely. Breakfast was absolutely a delightful surprise. They accommodated requests and were punctual. It was one of the highlights. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was lovely. The infinity pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. The gym facility means were average to slightly above average.

The picture currently shown is not the room that we actually had. The view was very different. Toiletries in the shower or lacking. Conditioner would have been a very nice option.

The host was very friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Each day, we had a sumptuous breakfast. The apartment is located at an excellent and calm location, near a beach and the ocean with great views, well connected by road, at a 10 minute drive from the airport. The kitchen was well equipped and great for vegetarians who struggle to eat out. The apartment comes with free and safe parking for your rental car. The cleaning crew did a fantastic job, every day! All in all, a gem of a place!

The room was very spacious, stylish and clean. Also, they prepared some towels for beCh and thermal baths which was a nice touch.

Well, we had to deal with big cockroaches (about 4-5 cm) every evening. We heard them in the maintenance box, also found them in a corridor and our kitchen. Moreover, they have a gym, which is in the garrage were the towels are drying. If you go there in the evening, it is very hot and humid. About brakfast - you have to make order a day before and sometimes we did not have everything we asked for. But we were not starving, it is just a minor disadvantage.

I loved everything about Aqua - Pópulo Eco Village! The modern, spacious rooms felt like home, and the morning breakfasts were a treat. The location was ideal, and having a gym on-site was such a bonus. I especially appreciated that it was pet-friendly—my cat loved it as much as I did!

It’s a minor thing, but the room was a bit cooler than I’d prefer, possibly because I was on street level. I tried adjusting the temperature on the unit, but it didn’t seem to work too well.

We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with a mezzanine, offering plenty of room and comfort. While the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, a breakfast basket is conveniently delivered to your door each morning. The fitness center is well equipped, and although the rooftop pool is on the smaller side, it is heated and enjoyable.

The jacuzzi, however, could use some maintenance, as most of the jets were not working.

Our stay was good, liked that they had e-bikes for rent. The breakfast was great delivered at 8:30am (or later if requested, previous day if needed earlier), selection for breakfast was done the day before and messaged via WhatsApp. A great selection of seasonal fruit, breads, yogurt & cheese, scrambled eggs or mini waffles or pastries available a couple times a week. Milk, juice and coffee/tea & espresso pods. Kitchen was fairly well equipped we really just used it for snacks & adding eggs to our breakfast on the days they didn’t provide them. Pool was warm, hot tub was okay a bit cloudy the day we arrived but the next day it was good. Like everywhere else on the island the parking is tight they did have fenced area to park.

We had a little issue with the shower not draining but it was fixed the next day. There was a dog barking next door it could be heard from the penthouse master bedroom was glad I brought earplugs (know this wasn’t their fault things like that can happen). The week we choose the closest restaurants were closed and on vacation (again not their fault), was very glad we rented a Car.

This location was great. Easy to go the main part of PD. Also great to go to either end of the island when doing tours & seeing the sights. Breakfast every morning was a good start to the day & plenty of food to choose from. The communication was fantastic & prompt. I greatly appreciated how accommodating the staff was. The walk down the street to Sunset Beach took 3 minutes & nearby Pópulo Beach was 3 minutes by car. Can’t say enough great things!!!

We had an incredible stay at Aqua Populo Eco Village during our visit to Ponta Delgada. The establishment is impeccably maintained, offering a serene atmosphere. Being just a 3-minute walk from the beach was a delightful bonus. The staff went above and beyond, assisting us not only with accommodations but also arranging transportation and a memorable whale watching tour. Their exceptional service has left a lasting impression, and we look forward to returning in the near future!

Got excited when I saw a Ben and Jerry ice cream in the freezer. Unfortunately it was left behind by the previous guest and overlooked by the housekeeper.

The receptionists were polite and helpful and replied shortly on Whatsapp. Minor problems were solved quickly and professionally. Bicycle rental available on site, it was easy to cycle around. Laundry service was convenient. Breakfast was great and the kitchen well equipped. The best beach is close, and the pool with a view is nice. Code locks; no need to carry hotel keys around. Felt safe all the time and the hotel was quiet, too. Appreciated plastic/metal/carton etc recycling. Wanted to use the same towels several times but the towels just didn't dry indoors. I would suggest offering a simple clothesline for ground floor customers that they can attach in front of the back door themselves, if needed.

Perhaps the only minor minus is the cleaning of the hotel room floors which could have been more thorough.
