We booked the apartment. these are big apartments (we had a 3 room apartment, with 2 baths). overall not the newest/most modern rooms, but overall maintenance is good (everything worked). breakfast is good. nice selection, friendly staff and you have the option to choose inside and outside. swimming pool is nice/not huge, but great for kids. Final: location. this is great. you can walk to the mall of Dubai (and the Burj Khalifa), many shops and restaurant options.

to keep in mind when booking a appartment: these are not directly connectded to the hotel, which means that if you booked a breakfast, lunch or diner, you need to exit the appartment building and walk over to the hotel. not a big issue for us, but you should be aware. Noise: The appartment we had was facing the mall/Burj Khalifa side. there is a highway in front of the building and makes lots of noise (We discussed options with the reception, they offered a change to the hotel. I decided to buy earplugs, as the apprartment was more convenient for us). On pictures you see lots of water/swimming pools, but keep in mind that the hotel has only one of the pools that you can use.

This was our first visit of Dubai travelling with a young child and we were debating on location and type of property. This ended up being an excellent choice for the following reasons: - Location is great. short walk to Dubai Mall where you will find plenty of cafes and restaurants also, can view the Fountain show, head to Burj Khalifa and then walk to Wings of Mexico - Taxis are cheap in Dubai and other prime locations like the Palm are still easily accessible with a 30 minute ride - We particularly liked the offer of the Swissotel apartments which gave us plenty of space as a family. Originally I was worried that the apartments might be far away or too seperate from the main hotel and the amenities but it wasn't, it's all within one secure campus/complex - Every single staff member we interacted with was exceptionally friendly and helpful - We loved the different pool options - one is a big bigger and great for sun bathing and relaxing. Another pool closer to the main hotel has a pool bar and offers food and cocktails. You can enjoy a view of the Burj Khalifa from the pool - There is a pub attached to the hotel which was buzzing at night and had great food

- Other reviewers said to make sure to take breakfast as included as food is so expensive in Dubai. Whilst the buffet was very good with lots of choices, I wouldn't take breakfast again and rather explore the many options in the area. Breakfast also finishes at 10:30, and some days we would have preferred to sleep in ;-) - The rooms (esp bathrooms) and decor are quite dated. I knew this and it didn't bother us but if you are looking for something ultra modern then this is not it - Not a biggie but the coffee wasn't great - head to Dubai Mall for a proper Cappuccino

Was upgraded to a suite on arrival, which was nice. Clean, tidy and plenty of sockets (USB C!). All staff very friendly and professional without exception. I opted for breakfast and dinner included, which I highly recommend. Great options for both, with chefs making fresh produce throughout the service. Location very convenient for the mall and other tourist spots. A diverse cliental with multi nationality, couples/family's and business/pleasure, which gave a very inclusive feel. Always enjoy Swissotel's, and wont hesitate in returning to this one!

A traveller FYI and tip. If you travel by public transport, as I did. Rather than walk from the mall metro, through the mall, then crossing the road (which can be extremely confusing for first time visitors to Dubai, walk from emirates towers metro station. This is a similar route, and you can walk through DIFC if you need an AC break, taking the same amount of time.

The property is 5 mins walk from Dubai mall, just like its inside Dubai Mall in the heart of the city. The staff is very helpful, always welcoming with a smile. They assist in everything they can even surprising requests. 🙂 Mr Ashraf one of the hotel managers was very welcoming he was overseeing the excellence of his team and always involved if there was any problem to fix it on spot. Mr. Ayman, was as well very welcoming and very helpful really the managment of this hotel and staff was extremely professional and welcoming 🙏 Chef. Dipak made great food and great special requests as well he is top notch the food was amazing breakfast & Dinner!! Especially Italian dinner ❤️❤️ The pool, the spa the facilities is amazing and very clean ❤️ i really enjoyed my stay in the hotel

I've stayed at this hotel before and always enjoy my stay. Staff are friendly and helpul. Hotel is clean and I especially like the bright big lobby area. Room size is very good and the bed was huge. Very near Dubai mall and always lots of taxis around. Very near you have a barbers, a burger place and a small supermarket.

This time for some reason there was noise outside from a nightclub or something similar. Being on the 3rd floor it made sleeping difficult. It disappeared after a few days and I was ok with that. Be careful with the shower as it can leak water to the floor. I had to put towels down. I agree with others who say that the rooms need updating. Removing the carpets would be a start - modern hotels don't use carpets so much now. Also the furniture is a little dated. In keepng with somewhere like Dubai, a more modern touch is needed in the rooms.

Nice hotel with good location near Dubai mall and near Khalifa tower ,large and convenient rooms with very comfort bed mattress ,large and very clean reasturant with a good varieties of food in breakfast.

The pillows are extremely soft (not acceptable) and very uncomfort and they don't have better pillows, the first room was looking at a very noisy streets and the windows are not sound proof so i were not able to sleep at the first day untill they change my room next day to another room same category but it was better layout and very quiet but same pillows issues ,the time to Dubai mall take about 15 min. walk or by car due to traffic lights ,couldn't adjust the a/c tempreture at all rooms in both appartments it's always cold or hot , the rooms need more care or renovation.

The management team and staff were absolutely amazing. Whatever we required we got straight away. Walking distance to the Dubai Mall. Nearby supermarket, food and pharmacy.

Old carpets, curtains and old kitchen. So little smelly due to the oldness. Carpet should’ve been cleaned. It showed the main Swissotel in the pictures which is really good but it was the apartment area which needs refurbishing. They said they have started so that’s good.

Swissotel Al Muooraj is a nice hotel, ideal for those wanting to stay in downtown Dubai, within walking distance of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. The restaurant staff is extremely friendly, and the swimming pool is a great addition. However, if you’re booking a Classic King Room, note that most views are road-facing. For those who enjoy exploring via public transport, the Burj Khalifa Metro Station is about a 7–8 minute walk away. While there are many hotels in the vicinity, I had a very positive experience negotiating with Dusit Thani—they were accommodating and left a great impression. Although we ultimately chose Swissotel, Dusit Thani would have been a strong alternative.

The receptionist as well as the rest of the crew are very courteous, kind and helpful 👍. Their customer relationship is fantastic. They have a daily buffet offer that has different themes every day and offer good discounts to hotel guests. The hotel and room interior and exterior is designed so beautifully and always have a good smell. Swimming pool is big and beautifully designed with waterfalls and they provide lifeguards Always after guest safety and peace of mind. Location is fantastic walking distance to Dubai Mall,Burge Kalifa and also hop on hop off bus station. My rooms view is so fantastic as I see the nice city lights at night specially Burge Kalifa. Will book this hotel again.
