The property was very good. But the city tour that the concierge recommend was like a scam. I paid 1,400 AED just for 4 hours city tour is very expensive. I expect it’s a guided tour but it’s not. He just drive us around the city like we rented a taxi.

Our stay was nothing but great. At the lounge Zineb checked us in with warmth, efficiency, ability to upkeep conversion while I had to wait. She made me feel welcome and valued. Olga greeted me making feel welcome. Zineb and everyone knew us by name. The lounge access provided excellent breakfast options, delightful afternoon snacks, and an evening happy hour, creating a comfortable space for both relaxation and productivity. I had to work during the trip, I used the conference room adjacent to the lounge, getting easy access to snacks and beverages. Team constantly offers something. Special thanks to Karim, Janeth, and Nikhil, who consistently responded promptly to every request. Their proactive and accommodating attitude truly made our experience outstanding. Highly recommended!

My experience at Shangri-La Dubai was truly wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The hotel’s location on Sheikh Zayed Road offers stunning views of the Burj Khalifa and easy access to downtown Dubai, making it both convenient and scenic. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. Dining at the hotel was a highlight—Shang Palace served outstanding Cantonese dishes, and the breakfast buffet at Dunes Café was both varied and delicious. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay special, always attentive and kind. The spa and pool area offered a perfect escape to relax and recharge, with breathtaking views from the infinity pool. Shangri-La Dubai combines luxury with genuine care, and I would gladly return. It was a memorable and truly enjoyable stay.

Carpets and cushions in rooms should be refreshed

I recently stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai during a work trip, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the professionalism of the staff stood out—they were courteous, attentive, and incredibly efficient, making check-in and every interaction smooth and pleasant. The service throughout my stay was impressively quick and consistent, whether it was housekeeping, room service, or any other request. As someone visiting for work, I truly appreciated how seamless everything felt, allowing me to focus on my meetings and commitments without any hassle. One of the highlights was definitely the food—especially breakfast. The spread was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options that catered to every preference. Whether I wanted something light or a hearty start to the day, it was all there, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Overall, the Shangri-La Dubai offers an elegant, comfortable, and highly professional experience. I would absolutely return, whether for business or leisure.

I felt the Hotel, was in a great position to get access to Dubai esp the DIFC and restaurants. The staff were incredibly efficient and always were too happy to help and go that extra mile. There was a gentlemen by the name of Khodarahm who helped you get taxis. he went beyond the call of duty to get you that cab / uber super quick. So thank you. Pool was clean and bedrooms were 5 star. I went to the Chinese restaurant and Ukraine restaurant and I have to say they were worth checking out. Almel was a great Maitre D.

Pool Staff were a tad off the market vs the rest of their colleagues but that might be down to working on 35c heat all day.

The property has everything you need for a comfortable 2–3 day stay. The food was excellent, the gym was well-equipped, and the business center on the 41st floor was impressive. I was able to complete all my meetings in their dedicated meeting room without any issues.

The noise from the nightclub was extremely loud, making it impossible for us to sleep until it finally closed around 2 AM, if I recall correctly. The soundproofing in the club is clearly inadequate despite being on the 40th floor and quite a distance from the club, the music was still very disruptive in my room. It was a major inconvenience and significantly affected our stay.

room very comfortable, very nice swimming pool/area with comfy sunbeds and parasols , very friendly and service oriented people, fast elevators, very reasonable room rates (summer is much more affordable) There is a free additional room service at appr 18h they come to your room to ask if you need additional water, towels etc and they bring flowers Location downtown - lots of affordable good restaurants, mini markets, big supermarket near by (4 minutes)
