Felt nearly like 5 star experience. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, from being greeted by the valet including apologies for not having parking due to ongoing summer fest weekend across the hotel, but giving us alternative options and letting us park in front briefly to check in first. Front Desk staff showed great hospitality at both check in and check out. We got the quiet room we asked for and the beds was very comfortable. Great location if you’re exploring San Jose downtown

For the price it would’ve been nice to have breakfast included with hopefully some decent vegan options. Perhaps in the future.

We stayed at the Westin Hotel in San Jose for four nights while attending the Cinequest 2025 Film Festival, and it was the perfect choice. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient — all the festival venues and great restaurants are within easy walking distance, which made it so much easier for us to get around during the busy event. The staff at the Westin were fantastic — always friendly and ready to help with any questions. The cleaning staff ensured our room was spotless and well-organized every day. We had a lot of luggage, and the staff were very helpful in handling it for us, which we really appreciated. Our room was a comfortable King bedroom, clean and cozy with a soft bed that made for a great night’s sleep. We also made good use of the desk while working. At one point, both of us had calls at the same time, and the staff graciously gave us access to a conference room, which was incredibly helpful. The lobby is spacious and well-kept, with coffee and tea available in the morning. We held several meetings there, and it was a comfortable and organized space. Overall, the Westin San Jose is a gem in the heart of downtown. With great service, a prime location, and thoughtful touches, it made our festival experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The only suggestion I have are related to parking. When you arrive at the Westin by car, the valet service is convenient, but it costs $60 per night, which feels a bit steep. Fortunately, we found a small open parking lot right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. It would be great if the hotel could partner with a nearby parking facility to offer a more affordable option for guests.

I was going to a show across the corner from the building, and having just flown in to SJ I felt secure being on my own in an unfamiliar city. Bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers- with my stay being less than 24 hours I didn't take advantage of all the amenities, but the menu in my room makes me wish I did.

Beautifully remodeled hotel that has been there a very long time. They remained true to the original model during remodel, I loved it.

Parking. There is a parking lot right across the street if you don't use valet so don't get swindled farther down the street. We walked a block w luggage cuz I'm too cheap to 50 per day for valet but saw parking lot right across the street after we paid a block away.

I had an unfortunate incident and the entire hotel staff was extremely helpful! The room was nice, just a bit too small. However, the bed and bedding were very comfortable. I will definitely return when I visit the area again.

Just the size of the room, very small and tight quarters with two people. No room for luggage.

Location to venue a refrigerator in the rooms makes it easier to help with food expenses. Complementary coffee was nice. Valet parking was great.

Hotel is clean, centrally located in downtown SJ. Staff was friendly and the restaurant has great food and cocktails.

Parking was challenging and I found no store inside to purchase snacks. There was a very loud party on streets so it was not very quiet.

I am a diabetic and disabled and I was very surprised to be told by staff that the vendor machine had no diet drinks for such a nice hotel. my stay was brief and late at night and I had to walk 5 blocks to and from to a get a soft drink late at night. I think I would mention to the management to suggest no sugar items. it won’t affect a future stay tho.

we went to San Jose from LA to see Depeche Mode. they played at the SAP around the corner and left in the morning. for out needs perfect. amazing beds I never slept so well. we go t a small room for one night only as well as the ladies. hey we are seniors still traveling to see our favorite bands

Location, location, location!!! Steps away from the Convention Center, a block from the Performance Center, and near San Jose State, the Westin is in the center of a great activity hub. You also have multiple restaurant options (flavors and fares) within a block radius of the hotel. We drove to the city and the access from and to the freeway was easy and really close. If you are moving through the city, there is plenty of public transportation right at the front door. The Front desk staff was courteous and genuinely interested in helping us enjoy our stay. No pool, pet friendly, and beautiful!

Parking was solved by using Valet Parking ($45 for the day) but it's an additional cost. Although I didn't like the excessive cost, I was delighted with the staff and the quick service. It is fair to say that the cost was disclosed in advance, so I knew what was coming. Parking is also an issue because the entrance of the hotel is at a very busy intersection.
