Location is the best very central to Powell station and union square would defo recommend.

Walls are a bit thin there was this group next room who were so noisy also running up and down the hall. Not the hotels fault I suppose and it was New Year’s Eve.

Flexible reservation handling by the hotel which we highly appreciated. First, we had a double reservation for 1+5 days and they ensured we could keep the same room. Second, I needed to make a video call, but our room had no desk. The hotel changed our room for free to another one that included a desk. Excellent service. Plus the facilities, especially the gym and the pool table were in great condition and we used them a lot!

Maybe having two nightstands for each room instead of one would make it more practical. We cannot really think of anything else.

My son and I had a beautiful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with such warmth and sincerity. The woman at the front desk was wearing a cross and it instantly brought a sense of peace and reassurance. It felt like God placed us exactly where we needed to be. The atmosphere was calm and comforting and the staff truly went above and beyond. We’re so thankful for the care we received and for the quiet presence of something greater surrounding our stay. May God bless everyone who works there and continues to welcome guests with such grace.

The location is fine and very convenient fort the train and a ride on the cable car which is close. I have noted in reveiws some concern about the area and homeless people but I found this not a problem and never felt any concern in walking around. The room whilst rather old fashioned was clean and confortable. The room was very quiet and that is what I requested although the views from the windows were not good - that suited me as it helped keep the room quiet! The price was very reasonable.

Whilst the room was a reasonable size, it had a King bed and there was not a lot of room at the end of the bed. You could hit you leg on the metal end of the bed in going to the bathroom. There was a coffe maker but very few coffees supplied.

Hotel Fusion has an excellent location in Union Square near Powell Station where you can catch the cable cars, electric trams, Muni Subway, BART, and busses. Bars, Restaurants, Shopping and Nightlife all within easy walking distance. Hotel staff were all friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, polite, prompt and professional in providing great customer service. Room was large for San Francisco and had a comfortable bed, clean room, nice bathroom, along with great air conditioning, ceiling fan and mini-fridge.

Hallways were not air conditioned and so it was much warmer getting from the elevator to your room.

The hotel was great, room was nice, staff helpful and friendly, price was low. Nice diner just around the corner. Good sushi place in front of it.

Though the immediate surroundings of this hotel are completely fine, the Tenderloin is next door, so pay attention where you walk. I did go through it, and did not feel threatened. I saw the human misery, and felt intense pity for vulnerable people to be degraded like this. Shame on all those responsible for allowing this suffering to exist... The US is very, very rich, there is simply no excuse for this.

Lovely clean hotel great location close to union square. Comfortable beds and great value for money. This was our second stay rooms better. Had a king and double queen this time which was much better than the twin we had last time. Hotel didn’t do breakfast but lots of cafes and restaurants in the area and nice to try them out. Would recommend Roxanne and Sears.

Could hear traffic and some street noise in rooms overlooking the street. But bed comfortable and slept well. Sadly lots of homeless people in central areas. Seems to be a general problem. We took care and nobody bothered us but shameful situation in the richest country in the world.

Cleanliness and safety that’s no. 1 for me. The place is also accesible to different transpo and easy walk from different shpping malls, I used the BART from SFO. Staff are friendly and approachable. Hope they’ll include breakfast soon, though coffee and tea are always free. I recommend this hotel esp to solo traveler.
