Love this hotel. Love the location you can walk to. Carowinds wish I would have known that before I paid for parking at Carowinds. Love that it has a gym. 24 hours. Very clean. I read there was cockroaches here before. Have not seen none The water was real hot here too. In the tubs. The pool was very clean and nice. The breakfast is the best complimentary breakfast from any hotel I've had. They make sure when they run out they hurry up and restock everything. I recommend this to everyone to come here and it's close to everything you might need too

That there was nothing I didn't like

The woman in charge of the breakfast area is amazing. Has a great personality and always kept a clean. Hope she is praised for all her hard work. Love the location to carowinds but also anywhere else we were traveling. Great for Charlotte area without the traffic.

Maybe suggest a parking paper pass or something because of the traffic of the location of carowinds and taking up spots....I don't mind a hotel that accepts pets I think it's great but it seemed if I passed a room a dog could hear me on the other side kinda worried me... almost wish they pet rooms were a little separated.... also was there from mon to Fri thought I would get towels at least once because the paper said every 3rd day without asking...

When I arrived to check in, there was no record of my reservation which was made through Booking.com. Not sure what the issue was, but the receptionist kindly worked with me and Booking. Com to resolve the issue. Other than that, the facilities were great, the included breakfast was as expected. Other amenities were not used so I cannot comment on those. I chose this hotel mainly for the location and it served that purpose very well.

Just across the road from carowinds..room had coffee maker fridge microwave..little store at the office good for late night snacks or travel items .there's a small gym that I used several times

Pool was closed,no reason given .all rooms are interior rooms...many people prefer that for safety reasons..but I like to be able to go to my vehicle without having to walk thru the lobby and talk to personnel every time..but that's just me

Proximity to park, friendliness of staff, hot shower with pressure, comfortable beds, cold ac.

Both elevators were out of commission and building is older. Bathroom renovations were somewhat sloppy, caulking was rough, a sheetrock screw was left holding up part of the front of the vanity. There was a note at the front desk stating that towels were in short supply, had to bring used ones to desk to get replaced. Minor inconveniences but worth noting. Elevators could be an issue to certain people with small children or health concerns.

I waited at the from desk for 15 minutes for check in before being acknowledged, while the clerk was in the back. I could hear him talking. First floor smelled of cigarettes and urine. The 3rd floor smelled much cleaner. Bathrooms outdated and very small and shelves in bathroom dusty. Room fairly clean. We didn't use the pool but had a good window view. Pool was filthy. I know it's not in season but at least keep it presentable. If I ever go back, I don't think I would use the pool because it was sooooo filthy.

Very clean hotel best complimentary breakfast I've ever had from any hotel I've ever stayed at close to Carowinds. You can walk to it in 12 minutes. Has a 24-hour gym and a nice pool. Very clean rooms. Plenty of parking. Love this hotel and recommend anyone staying here. If they're coming to stay in this area, it's close to everything you might need

There was nothing I didn't like

I really appreciate the fresh cooked breakfast, every visit I have eaten breakfast it was a great experience highly recommend. Thanks to the stuff who prepares the meals every morning, always ready and prepared for the time to serve.

There’s nothing I didn’t like are experienced at this location, staff is always friendly and helpful to any needs or concerns I have.

Breakfast was good. The ladies cleaning the tables and making sure none of the food ran out was very polite.

The pool, looked nasty and cloudy. You are unable to see the bottom. Chairs out side were broken. AC unit above our door going to the pool area was leaking water down so you are unable to sit by the door without getting wet.

The location was fabulous. Right where you wanna be. 20 minutes from the action in Charlotte city Center and Cara wins is right across the street. The traffic is easy and light because you’re in South Carolina instead of Charlotte North Carolina. Fort Mills is nice.😊😊😊

The mattresses are being upgraded is a real plus also.
