Springhill is at carowinds park. There's a walkway around to the park, so you don't need to drive your car. The rooms were spacious, and the shower and toilet were in their own room. We had 2 queens a sofa sleeper, and a trundle bed. Plenty room for all to sleep. Breakfast was good. There were eggs, meat, waffles, and bagels. Hot beverages and ice water in the lobby 24 hours. A nice patio with a gas firepit. And a small bar for those inclined. Plugs and USB ports all around the room. Even a desk.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Location was great for entry to the park. Breakfast was great! Very nice staff and everything was very clean. Easy to find and easy access, however, when visitors for the park are lining up, the road to the hotel is completely blocked!! I had to take a chance and drive into oncoming traffic lane or wait an hour for the park to open and clear the road that goes to hotel!! Why hasn’t this been addressed???

Our door was the hardest to open and so very heavy!! It also slammmed if you didn’t hold onto it when closing!! Turning the handle took all of our strength each time!! I am very strong and I even struggled with it! We had to be super careful with our little girl not getting slammed in the door! Very disappointing from such a nice hotel!! Oh and yes- the road being blocked by park traffic!!

We loved the location of this hotel! It was great to be able to just walk over to Carowinds instead of having to load up the kids and all our stuff in the car. We also thought the breakfast was excellent- the hot dishes were different each day which was nice.

Unfortunately the tub in our suite was really gross.. it was visibly dirty and the smell of mold/mildew coming from the drain was so bad it actually made the whole suite stink, so we kept the door shut for the duration of our stay. Thankfully everything else was clean, so we didn't let that one thing ruin our trip.

We were staying here so our daughter could visit the Carowinds rollercoaster park. As this park is quite a long way from town we were delighted to find that the hotel was offering complimentary breakfast. This was quite extensive and meant our daughter could eat early before starting her day at the park. It was also the Memorial day weekend and the breakfast staff worked very hard to keep everything stocked and fully supplied. This hotel also had the cleanest guest laundry I have ever seen. Being able to do laundry while you are travelling is always a challenge so thank you so much Spring Hillsuites.

Everything was great

It was the nicest hotel we have stayed at. Very quiet and so comfortable. The beds were amazing!!! I would stay there just for that! Staff was super nice. Everything about it was great

We had 2 adults and 2 kids. The only thing we didn’t like was that the trundle bed mattress was wet. It seemed like someone sprayed cleaner on it and never let it dry. So unfortunately we weren’t able to use that bed and had to make the kids double up in the regular bed along with 1 sleeping on the couch.

The location was great. The rooms were the biggest I’ve seen in a long time and we got the chance to pick what floor to stay on. It was also a bar there so it was really no need to leave the hotel. I also enjoy the patio with the fire pit with lots of seating.

The pool was not opened yet. The doors were heavy so it was hard at times to get in the side entrance and sometimes the room.

This was a perfect place for me and my family to stay when going to Carowinds. The room was so much larger than we were ever expecting it to be. The price was also reasonable. We will be back.

Our only issues we experienced was the shower drain was clogged, the spout in the show just came right off the wall and you have to get to the breakfast early because it was slammed when we went the final hour.

Location was excellent, due to the fact that we wanted to be close to Carowinds.

The only thing I didn’t like was how heavy all the doors were way too heavy. This is a disaster waiting to happen by someone pulling a muscle, slamming their foot or fingers in the doors. I had to literally use all my strength to pull open the doors such a the entrance, exit and room doors. My children didn’t like it either.

had such a great time on my trip! One of the things I loved the most was feeling safe and secure while traveling solo. Plus, I was able to get in a good workout without feeling like anyone was watching me. The room was also super clean and tidy, and I really appreciated the fact that there was no carpet on the floor. All in all, a wonderful experience!

I strongly disliked the secluded location, and the breakfast left much to be desired with its mediocrity.

The location was in ideal walking distance to Carowinds. The breakfast was decent and the room was spacious.

We reurned from Carowinds around 8:30 pm to find our room not cleaned for the day. I had to request toilet paper because we were completely out. We went back out and returned around 1AM. Dirty towels were still on the bathroom floor and the trash cans were fill. I went downstairs to question why our room wasn't cleaned. She front desk attendant stated the room is cleaned every three days. I was very disappointed. I told her I need new wash clothes and towels now.
