It was very central, staff were great, cool rooftop area for lounging and with a bar. Nice restaurant downstairs with the option for take out pizza. Very very clean!

The beds were a bit too firm for us. If you don’t want to hear any noise at night go outside of old town, but it was bearable for us and not too bad overall. Rooftop bar experience was impacted by who was working that day. Christophe was a massive asset and very talented, really enjoys his work however his colleague was not present and came across as rude.

Location is great, walking distance to everything, right where all the happenings are and their restaurant was very good and all the receptionists were great, very helpful. The room was nice and big with balcony.

The tiny bathroom trash can, so tiny and no space in the bathroom sink to put anything. Also, the concert outside and the people coming in and out of their room talking like noone was sleeping while walking by the stairs and the elevator til morning..The whole town was partying til 6am cuz of New Year's so we didn't have a good sleep at all. So if you don't like noise, avoid that area.

Excellent location, close to the beach with lovely bars and restaurants, close to the square, close to the escalators. Everything within short walking / strolling distance. Bars and restaurants on your door step. Spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely, very pleasant and friendly. They were always smiling and happy. There's an off-licence and supermarket next door.

Nothing I didn't like. Here are just minor points / things to be aware of. Tea and coffee facilities in our room which was great. UHT milk provided on the first morning only. We had to buy a carton of milk from the shop next door for subsequent evenings which wasn't an issue for us but some may have a problem with such. City tax was €17 per room for our four nights. No cooler to keep drinks cool. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, music can be heard till 4am but I slept through it, it didn't keep me awake. It wouldn't put me off staying there again. I will be back.....

Fabulous hotel in a perfect location right in the heart of the Old Town. It can be a little noisy due to its central position, but that didn’t bother us at all. The staff were very attentive, and the rooftop seating area—with a bar and hot tub—was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend it!

Nothing not to like , everything met or exceeded our expectations! especially impressive for a 3-star hotel!

Third time I have stayed at the Baltum, love the location, the shower was great, the rooms are basic but the beds are comfy, with nice decoration, nice to have a balcony to sit out on to watch the world go by

The noise, the builders working on the restaurant below us, I know it has nothing to do with the hotel but they did start drilling quite early, Also as I mentioned before I have stayed here twice before, and you have to expect a bit of noise at night because of where the hotel is situated, but it was really loud this time, we bought some earplugs and it was fine Also electric plug outlets not in the best places, don't remember this being a problem on pervious stays, there was also an awful smell in the room when we arrived, wasn't u till I went to the bathroom and closed the door I noticed a plug in air freshener, I took it out and all was fine (just don't like them they make me feel quite ill)

It is on a main tourist street and the noise at night was horrible. i asked for a room on the otherside of the hotel. what i got was another room still in the middle of the noise. i mean they were playing loud music and shouting until after mid night. that would be my only, but big, complaint!

Great location, very central. Good facilities and clean.

Staff on Reception were very rude at all times. If you spoke in more than a whisper they told you to be quiet. Very strange as this hotel is in the middle of a stag/hen do area so it’s groups everywhere and everyone is excited! We turned up happy and were immediately told to shut up - very bad note to start on and we feel we weren’t even given a chance. The manager apologised which was nice, but the reception staff continued to be rude throughout. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

The Baltum is very central to all aminities. It is very clean with comfortable rooms and beds. The staff team are very professional, helpful, and friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure you experience a great stay. Anna at the rooftop bar was very friendly and professional while also excellent at making the best cocktails. Sarah at reception was very helpful, friendly and professional. This is a great hotel and looking forward to visiting again and I would recommend the Baltum Hotel to anyone looking to stay in Oldtown Albufeira. Helena & John

Nothing, as I always enjoy my stay in the Baltum.

Location was in the middle of the party area of town soundproofing on the windows was fair Partying went on till 4 o’clock in the morning. Breakfast was satisfactory website needs to be updated during booking the website toggle between US dollars and euros in increasing the price immediately after booking I received. How much lower competitive price but at that point I was already booked and charged.

It’s the perfect location to walk Old Town and have beach access . You are right in the center of restaurants, bars and stores.

If you plan on going to bed early this may not be the place for you. The bar scene didn’t close down until 4:30 and it’s pretty loud even with the windows and curtains closed. Nothing a pair of good earplugs won’t fix though.
