We spent four wonderful nights at the Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha, and our experience was truly outstanding. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm, elegant, and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was exceptional — rich in variety, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Every staff member we met was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Overall, our stay was excellent in every way — great value, perfect service, and an unforgettable experience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Doha!

Exceptionally friendly, polite and helpful staff. Fatima at the front lobby provided a very detailed tour through the amenities, which was very helpful as there are many. Pool is a great place to relax, sauna is awesome. All amenities are super clean. Gym looked well equipped, but I didn't have a chance to try it out. Room was pre-cooled for arrival, bedsheets were fresh, bathroom squeaky clean. The bed mattress nice and firm. Free airport shuttle is always on time and takes about 15min to get from/to the airport.

Very minor comments: Pillows are soft and flat - had to stack a few of them to reach normal hight. I wish there was a bit more supportive option. Live music at Ducat restaurant was amazing, but a little bit too loud for peaceful dinner.

The airport shuttle was excellent—perfectly on time, air-conditioned, and equipped with Wi-Fi, which was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable, making it easy to get some much-needed rest. We also ordered room service and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and portion sizes. Both the butter chicken curry and the spaghetti Bolognese were tasty and generous.

Check-in was frustrating. We only had a few hours at the hotel between flights, so efficiency was important. Despite informing the hotel in advance of our arrival time and arriving after 17:00, there was a delay at check-in due to limited room availability. We had booked two rooms for our family, but were assigned one on the second floor and the other on the sixth. This separation was inconvenient, especially since floor access is restricted by room key, making it difficult to visit each other.

Breakfast had a wide variety, tasty and great fresh fruits and juices Rooms big, spacious and clean was happy during my stay as I didn't experience any allergies due to great room condition. Has free airport transfers, it was very welcoming to see the team meet us at the airport. Very helpful team members, the staff were very accommodative of our requests like help get a uber/taxi etc. The refunded the utilized breakfast amount as I checked out at Midnight. Very accountable, great value. Grateful to the Choices restaurant team for awesome service and going the extra mile to make our breakfast time worth it. Our last dinner was amazing, you got us sumptuous options from the menu. Asanteni sana!

Stunning hotel, with beautiful modern rooms that are clean and extremely comfortable. Very close to the airport if you are looking for a quick stop over and the airport shuttle is very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful where possible.

The check-in and check-out process was extremely time consuming. It took us almost an hour to check-in as the requests we made prior to have rooms close to each other was not accommodated. They were able to give us rooms together eventually but this took a while. The check-out process was also frustrating as there was 1 person at the front desk and people were not following a queue system. I eventually had to leave my key card on the front desk as my airport transfer could not wait any longer.

Lovely hotel , great location, 20mins from Souq Waqif and Vagellio mall. Rooms are spacious and hotel is very clean. Great housekeeping, comfortable beds and amenities. We had breakfast and dinner and was soooo yummy and delicious. Special shout out to Zan Zan who looked after me with my daily tea! Swimming pool was good and was heated during this time of year, which was much needed. Spa, jacuzzi and steam rooms were clean and comfortable. Only downside, need a rubber mat outside of jacuzzi area. I slipped when coming out of it, whilst still holding onto the railing. Could have been nasty, so please consider rubber mat as this will prevent future accidents. Always have a great stay at Hyatt Regency and always my first choice. Highly recommend.

Our airline delayed our flight, and we booked last minute. It was so easy and affordable. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, modern and clean. It exceeded our expectations. Our room was large, with high ceilings. We had to call reception for an extra robe; there was only one in our room. They delivered so fast. There was an iron and ironing board already in the room. They had tea and water in the room, but we could not open the little drawer to get the tea out. Hotel staff was so helpful. We ordered room service, and the food was delivered so fast, and everything was hot and priced well. The hotel was a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. From what we can see there was not much around in walking distance to eat, but there are several restaurants inside the hotel to eat. We used the free airport shuttle in the morning. It was packed, so get down to the lobby early to secure a seat. I would stay here again, highly recommend.

VERY COMFORTABLE, GREAT BED

So-called courtesy bus service not very courteous. On arrival after 10h flight the driver said he was about to take us to hotel when some people he clearly knew arrived and he took them instead and left us at the airport saying he'd be back in 10 mins which was a lie because the round trip to the hotel is 30 mins. Had to pay for taxi. Pretty crap service for a 5-star hotel.

The check-in (late, in the early morning hours) was swift, professional and very pleasant. The desk personnel are ready to meet any need/request. The room and bathroom were quite large and comfortable. The location is very convenient for a layover at Doha airport (and much better value for money than the in-airport options): 10/15 minutes by taxi and anyway close enough to the historical city centre.

The actual location of the facility does not allow for exciting room views, but that is a minor issue.

I had a long layover and Doha and am so lucky I chose this property. I had just come off a hectic two week trip and this was the exact respite I needed. The property was immaculate, quiet, and comfortable. The room was spacious, clean and chic. The bathroom was generous and sparkling. Location was pretty close to the airport and not far from downtown. I took full advantage of the spa area and used the sauna and steam room and couldn’t have been happier.

I thought it was closer to the airport than it ended up being but it wasn’t a big deal at all.
