Excellent Stay at Strato Hotel – Highly Recommended! I had a very pleasant one-night stay at Strato Hotel. From check-in to check-out, the overall experience was smooth, comfortable, and truly satisfying. A special note of appreciation goes to the front desk staff—Mr. Hossain and Mr. Sadare. Their professionalism, warmth, and prompt assistance truly stood out. They were quick to respond to every request with patience and understanding, making the stay even more enjoyable. Their customer service is commendable and reflects the hotel’s high standards. The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The overall facilities were impressive, contributing to a relaxed and comfortable environment. I would definitely recommend Strato Hotel to friends and family and will choose it again for my future stays in the city. We stayed here during a long layover. It's nice that the hotel is quite nearby the airport, about a 10 minute drive. The man at the reception arranged a taxi to pick us up at 6AM to catch our flight. Bed were nice, bathroom was clean. Personally really liked the instant coffee that they have. For the other travellers that want to get visa-on-arrival; don't underestimate how long the process takes. When you're on a layover, you get dropped on a far end of the Qatar Airport. It is, no exaggeration, about a 30 min+ walk to the side where the exit is. Don't start to doubt yourself when you walk through long, mostly empty walls, that really is the route. Take the indoor train once you see it.

There isn't really anything nearby, and the surrounding area is mostly concrete.

As a repeated guest reception must be more active. Always have to wait long for check in as shortage of staff, they must check their AC n washroom shower everytime found the shower mixture does not work always hot water, even the taps are not in a good condition the water sprinkles from the handle. No menu card in room even no number to communicate with housekeeping & when to contact reception longgg time phone rings, this time I found all green tea in room no coffee or breakfast tea,bhad only 1 cup. I think these small things they must work out else it's good. Its.gust a suggestion not a complain. The hotel is really good and recommended.

Nothing that comes to mind

We booked this just for a short period because we had 8 hours to wait between flights. The reception staff were very professional and helpful. Our room was upgraded and very good value for what we paid. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Because the room was nice and dark we slept well. Reception helped us book a taxi back to the airport - the location is very convenient for the airport. The bar had some snacks and drinks but we didn't have time to have breakfast there.

Everything was fine

We litteraly have used the hotel just to sleep for a few hours between our flights and didn't understand much of it, but the sfaff was really nice and helpful and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed.

Nothing

This room was such a steal, 30euros for an apartment. The room was clean and had a lot of amenities. I liked that the hotel also had a cafeteria and restaurant downstairs which made it perfect in case you only have a few hours for a layover and just want to sleep and eat, you don't have to get out of the hotel.

The hotel is quite old, you can see it in the furniture especially. For the price I definitely still recommend it but keep that in mind.

The staff in room service is really rood don't have proper manner,, i just want to borrow a 1 plate one spoon... he said no its not allowed to borrow anything. Its a man who answer the call. Its very very disappointing i just what to eat my food idont have plate..
