1. Hotel Traveltine is near transportation facilities (Nicole Highway MRT and bus station) to get to the main attractions (such as Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, Merlin Park) and shopping complexes. 2. Complimentary bottled water. Fridge in the room. 3. Amazing views of the city (such as the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer) from the roof top especially at night (photo of the view added). There is a small swimming pool at the roof top. 4. You can leave your luggage for free for a few hours after check-out. 5. Good functioning air conditioning (AC) unit albeit noisy. It is hot in Singapore so an AC is essential.

1. Rooms are small especially if you have medium/large luggage/suitcases. 2. The staff at the reception did not seem welcoming/ friendly. A smile goes a long way. A simple greeting (good morning/afternoon) to guests would make a big difference. 3. It wasn’t very busy during check-in but check-in took over 20 minutes and I stood there without any information from the staff as to why this was the case.

Overall- this is a great hotel for the cost. It’s significantly less expensive than other downtown options but offers a great location near Kampong Glam and the MRT. The rooftop pool is nice, with great views over the city and MBS. It was comfortable and the room was decent size

Overall the property was fine. I was a little taken aback by some of the extra costs. Breakfast was $36/day. I never ate it because you can eat Breakfast cheaper just about anywhere. I was excited about the self service laundry machines- thinking I could do a lot of laundry as I was on a long trip and was shocked to find out it was $16 a load ($8 wash, $8.00 dryer)- which seems excessive to wash things yourself. In any event- those are just FYi’s at an otherwise nice hotel.

There is a delicious authentic hawker center, Golden Mile, across the best street food. As travelers who walk a lot, we didn’t mind trekking to downtown areas, but it is a bit far away. You can also get a ride share to the main parts of the city. Beautiful view though.

It is a bit further than expected from city’s attractions. The pool is not as advertised. The room is small, but that is typical for SE Asia.

 it’s very close to the city centre and quite close to the underground station  It has a wonderful roof pool which is open until 10 pm, and you can actually swim when it’s dark outside and see the whole skyline of Singapore quite small and for size beds for four people which is exceptional for Singapore Breakfast was quite good and very diverse so he can eat European but also more local dishes Value for money was excellent I’m very happy I stay there I can easily recommend it

It’s a minor thing that they offer only one day of free Wi-Fi Internet throughout the whole stay

Room smell

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and found it to be a great option for exploring Singapore. The room was spacious — especially by Singapore standards - and very clean. A nice touch was the daily complimentary snacks and drinks, which made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The location is also convenient, with several dining options within walking distance.

On the downside, the lobby felt quite small and lacked personality, which became noticeable when large tour groups arrived by bus - something that happened frequently during our stay. Since the breakfast area is accessed through the lobby, it sometimes felt a bit crowded in the mornings. Also, the hotel entrance could be more welcoming, especially for guests arriving with luggage.

We came to Singapore to attend Coldplay concert at the stadium. The location is perfect as it was near an MRT station to get to the stadium. It’s also close to the touristy Arab street, haji lane area. I informed the hotel staff in advance regarding my flight arriving early and requested for early check in. Despite them not promising this was possible, they actually allowed us to check in early and that was very kind of them!

What we liked the most was that we asked for a quiet room away from the elevator (as suggested in another travellers review) and this request was given to us and it was perfect as we couldn't hear any noise at all while sleeping which was exactly what we needed. We loved the comfy bed and the location with having the hawker food market across the road. We also thought the pool was great! Nice temperature, very large and some of the time we had it to ourselves. Walking distance to Kampong Glam/Haji Lane. An easy GRAB to other area's and tourist attractions.

My husband kept having issues with his WIFI not working on his phone, the girls on reception would fix it, but he had to go to them each day to re-connect which was annoying. Not a big deal though.

This exceeded my expectations. Very nice comfortable room and lovely huge bed, great location close to Nicholl Highway subway station and close to Arab Street area. Nice pool on the roof with great views. Self service laundry also on the roof.

A little pricey but this is Singapore after all!
