Everything. Amazing hotel. Wonderful location, beautiful views from my room(I had a balcony), also great view from the pool in floor 22 and from the bar in floor 21. Lovely and service orientated staff who also smile and helped me with various requests. Lovely breakfast - from 7 till 11 so you have ample time to decide when to eat. And the breakfast is delicious. Nutella? Checked. Salomon - checked. A guy who makes a omlet according to your wishes. Vegetables. Sausagues. Corissaints. Cheese. Wonderful breakfast. The room was big, the bed was comfortable, I had a balcony with amazing view to the city skyline, I receieved two bottles of water for free everyday. Also had a great coffe machine and received capsules day - free of charge. The Pool is nice with warm water - 30 degrees. Jaccuzi was very nice as well and for ending I enjoyed a few minutes at the sauna. The bar is lovely - great and friendly service, wonderful cocktail that they recommended. I was lazy to go to the city at the last night and didn't expect the amazing Pasta and Tiramissu I had. They were top notch. Real Italian chef restaurant. Suprisingly, the bar restaurant was not expensive. A meal in a place like this in Tel Aviv would have cost much much more. By the way I forgot to mention that if you leave early(6:30 in my case) you get a very generous breakfaet box. Location - the heart of the city. 10 minutes walk to old town. 5 minutes walk to University square. Best area to stay.

That it ended and I had to go back to Israel

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant overall, came late at night and was met by a 24h reception, all my requests were met such as higher floor, and a bath in the room, the location of the hotel is perfect, its right in the center and has bus stop/metro station just couple of minutes away, staff was kind and attentive and answered all my questions, beds were comfortable and bathroom facilities were good too, balcony with a city view was a nice addition too, my flight was later in the evening and i've requested a later check out and luckily was granted it without additional costs, thank you

Overall the SPA could benefit from refreshing/restoring and refurbishing - it seems quite worn off and tired, jacuzzi wasn't available (wasn't working) either.

I stay here often, I remember this hotel from back in the 1990s in its earlier version. It used to be very nice but sadly has slipped a lot in recent years. I like the location, the building itself with its dramatic views, and the friendly staff.

The breakfast offering is poor for a hotel of this standard. Maintenance is poor, the room I had didn't have a working television for instance, although I wasn't bothered by that to be honest. The general maintenance is poor, the building is ageing and needs investment. Also, whoever decided to rent out several of the scarce onsite parking spaces to a car rental company should be sacked. I used to be able to find a space in the carpark, but not any more. That is just stupid.

I left a note that we are spending a night to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and they expected us wirh a cake in the room, which was amazing. The front desk staff was very professional and nice. The pool water was warm, the room view was breathtaking. The guy who prepares the omlettes at the breakfast bar was very nice to us, we thought he was also serving pancakes and ordered some, but then saw that it’s only omlettes and apologized. He was very nice and said he will ask the kitchen to prepare 2 pancakes, which they did. Amazing experience and amazing pancakes.

Days before the arrival date I contacted the hotel to ask about the pool and jacuzzi, they said they are included, but failed to mention that the jacuzzi is out of order. We booked this hotel mainly for the jacuzzi with a view. The lady who was taking our plates at breakfast was very rude. She did not respond when we said good morning, neither when we helped her gather the forks that she dropped on the floor.

Nice room with balcony has excellent views and you can smoke on balcony. Very helpful and polite staff. Excellent breakfast with egg station. Fast lifts. Location was 10 minutes walk to old town with lot of restaurants and busy nightlife. Mini market near by. Rooftop bar was closed as it was easter bank holiday weekend.

Wifi can be improved.

The view it's just superb, basically you have view on all Bucharest......especially from the pool (wich is at the last flor). Breakfast was good, cofee, all Personal verry helpfull, the beauty of this hotel is that is located in the midle of Bucharest, at 50 meters from the centrum. Also, in rooms does not enter light in the morning (they have tick curtains), for us was perfect !

I'm originally from Bucharest and I strongly recommend this iconic hotel! This is the first time when I've actually stayed here as a guest. The location is amazing, right in the heart of the city, next to The National Theater and one step away from the main attractions - The National Museum of Art, The House of Parliament, the National Opera House, the Cismigiu Park (the oldest park in Bucharest) and many others. The metro station is right in front the hotel, you can see it from the balcony. The rooms were spatious and nicely decorated, in the Belle Èpoque style, as well as the rest of the hotel, featuring dark brown wooden pieces of furniture and classic table lamps that provided a cozy atmosphere! It felt like home. Plus, the rooms look exactly like the pictures. On top of that, I had the most spectacular view over the city, from my balcony, located at the 14th floor! Chill evenings, over a glass of wine and a cigarette, admiring the city at night...Nothing better! Last, but not least, the staff was also amazing! From the cleaning ladies to the receptionists, not only professional, but also very warm people, always there for you. On my departure day, I left at 4 in the morning and they booked an Uber for me, msking sure that I was going to wait for it over some coffee and croissants. Thank you all, once again! I had a boss time with you! See you next time!

Overall impression is “nice”. Good location, great views from the 10th and above. The bulging carries some spirit from the historical mission of this hotel

Very tired condition. Wallpapers are leaning out, electric appliances stick out, ceiling in bathroom peels. One day, there was no internet and telephone (internal) for 20 hours No heating - 19 degrees C max

The hotel itself is a landmark tower hotel, so easy to find your way back to after a stroll into the city. The Lobby/reception area is smart and classy with super efficient staff, help with parking and luggage was prompt and polite. There is a smart bar, cafe, and brasserie off the lobby area. Never got to check out the Sky lounge due to it being shut when we returned from an evening out. But imagine that the views must be spectacular as we were a few floors below and were wowed by the vista enjoyed from the balcony. The room had plenty of room and a large balcony to 2 sides, kettle, iron and board, hairdryer etc all there. Everything was spotless and in tidy condition as well. Really good breakfast in the brasserie.

Felt that the bar and sky lounge closed too early for a Grand Hotel. We had a large balcony, which was great, but no furniture on it, plus the floor of the balcony seemed to be just concrete, no tiles or other finish. Maybe this is a nod to the brutalist look.?! But it did seem a stark contrast to the plush interior.

The location was excellent. The room, which I understand is not normal practice, was ready as soon as we arrived which made our stay a little easier! Amazing view from the 18th floor and excellent breakfast with a vast selection and a perfect touch of a barista preparing your coffee of choice, not just a coffee machine!

Just so that I can mention something, the spa was closed due to renovations. The only thing that was weird is that upon check out the receptionist asked us about leaving a review which I agreed to. Then she asked us for our booking confirmation number which I gladly gave but then she proceeded to ask for our PIN. At this point it seemed weird and turns out she initially asked us (which I didn't get at first) whether we would agree on her doing the review on our behalf. Obviously I said no. The stay itself was excellent but that part seemed a little bit off. All in all I would stay there again!
