My review will be about the management, building, and rooms #1505 & 1506 which we lived in. The communication with the management was great. We gave them our expected arrival time, and the rooms were available upon arrival. They provided for us two rooms next to each other (#1505 & 1506). The hotel is composed of two towers, A & B. We stayed in tower B, which was of 16 floors. The hotel is located 12 minutes walking feom tje Haram. There were enough elevators for the residents, not to forget the car parking lots which costed 75 riyal per day and of 3 floors (B1, B2, & B3). The breakfast was from 6-10 and the staff was super great. The veriaty of the breakfast dishes were upto the standard. The size of the room was good and the beds were very comfortable. The AC was working properly and you could control it from your room.

The bathroom of Room #1506 was very very smelly... urine smell. As a matter of fact, there were spots on urine on the ground. We tried initially to clean the bathroom by ourselves, but we had to ask room service to come for using their detergents. Pillow cases and bed covers really needed to be replaced and changed... get new ones. Increase the veriaties of breakfast dishes; also add salad dishes and fresh juice (at least fresh orange and lemon juices) to the breakfast buffet.

I and my family have stayed in this hotel many times before, however on this ocassion there seems to have been a drastic change in operations and day to day and I must say for the better and appreciated.. The service is exceptional and the staff including the front desk are now so cheerful friendly and willing to help. The regularly check in by hotel management to see if everything is satisfactory was welcomed The bell services and hotel staff ofcourse from previous visits and now have always been exceptional, people such as Amir, Rakib go out their way to help. The price matches the slight further distance though only around 5-7minutes walk to the Haram

The buffet needs to be improved to cater for a wider audience and choice and toiletries in the bathrooms need to be improved .

Nothing but little unprofessional one man on the desk when I was checked in he rudely ignored us serving Arab speaking people! I believe he will need some customer service training.

Good hotel. Very comfortable beds too with excellent house keeping.

Breakfast is almost exactly the same every morning. A small variety would be nice. But good food though.

everything was good. Except had an issue with the breakfast manager. I asked him if i could have a box to put the breakfast in as we were getting late for our transportation to airport. He started complaining that i refused you the the same request yesterday et and was very rude.. This was the first time i saw him and asked him. I understand that people abuse these type of request. However as i was in a rush and was getting late I ignored him.

1. Easy access to Haram with 10 minutes walk 2. Pray area (masjid) inside hotel was nice and lively at prayer times 3. A lot of eat-out options, snacks and super markets all around

They misbehaved at check-out time for on-the-spot check out which was very disappointing

The reception staff is not very clear, they want to help but didnot know how to, they were not clear and telling me that booking.com has not charged my card and kept on saying system down so wait for check in, till I got in touch with the upstairs managers in their office , I contacted them by luck browsing around the hotel mazinine floor and they told me the problem and I paid right away and got my room . Otherwise I would b sitting there in the lobby for the entire day

Emaar Grand is located at a comfortable walking distance of around 10 minutes to Masjid Al Haram. I stayed in the Emaar Diyafah tower during a Ramadan Umrah trip with my father and family. The facilities at the hotel are excellent and room service is very prompt. There is a Prayer Hall within the hotel building as well. There is a very decent Coffee Shop within the hotel premises which serves hot and cold beverages, cakes and sandwiches (all decently priced). Easily accessible around the property are many multi-cuisine restaurants, gift shops and grocery stores. Taxis are also easily available just outside the hotel. All in all, my father and family enjoyed their stay and feel very blessed to be able to make this Umrah visit Alhumdulillah.
