This is a true hidden gem. I have never stayed in a nicer smelling house (if you’re wondering, it’s Tilley products- I made sure to stock up some after this stay). The hosts have gone above and beyond my expectations in what they provided - there are basic cooking spices (salt, pepper, mixed spice, oil) in the well-stocked kitchen. You can really feel the love and effort put into the place. The stay was so comfortable I regret not booking a longer stay. The back garden overlooks a field with wandering cows and the quiet tranquility is something an urban dweller like me cherish. I even spotted a couple of rabbits in the garden one morning.

This beautifully presented property is spacious with some luxurious touches like a deep free standing bath under a chandelier! Sit out on the verandah and enjoy the sculpture filled garden and gorgeous views. You might even see some hot air balloons if you are up early enough! And you might get a visit from some very sweet poodles! The kitchen has everything you could need if you wish to self cater, and the host provides a generous breakfast which includes as much home made bread and preserves as you ask for! Yum! The heating worked great and the bed was comfortable. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We had the most idyllic stay at The Studio. We were lucky with the weather and could enjoy the decking and garden as the view was wonderful. Ann and Ted were available and around if needed but never intrusive but they were the most delightful hosts so thank you very much. Healsville is a short drive away with some lovely independent shops so we stocked up with some lovely deli food and wine of couse and enjoyed the tranquility and comfort of The Studio.

Excellent stay at The Studio, would have happily been there longer if we could! The location is perfect, far away from any main roads but an easy 5 minute drive into town and surrounded by attractions. The property was stunning, perfect for a couple or solo looking to get away. The Studio had everything you would need. Ann and Ted were very welcoming hosts and we loved the fresh bread and jams, as well as all the artwork!

Fine bedroom + combined living room/kitchen studio. We visited in the middle of local winter, so the day was short, sunset early and mornings were below zero. Anyhow, the studio was warm and cozy, Everywhere there were fine details or objects of art. For a winter time visit to Yarra Valley a good choice if you prefer self-catering. The Ritchies IGA in Yarra Glen has a very good selection of items even for fine dining. Out of the wineries visited we can recommend Helen & Joye - wine is like in others, but the view over the valley from the winery is spectacular

We tried to go walking nearby, but the nearest neighbour had 4 unleashed dogs which protected the local road so much that we needed to stop moving until the owner commanded the dogs to go away.

i loved everything about the accommodation! the owners have thought of everything! The breakfast was amazing - eggs, granola, baked beans, yoghurt and fruit. even home made bread - it was so thoughtful! even left us some chocolate from the local chocolate factory which was a lovely touch. The views were stunning and i would def stay there again :)

When you dream of a get away that has comfort,beauty,peace,privacy and tranquility then “The Studio” is the reality and has it all. So tastefully and thoughtfully furnished,set in gardens with the most amazing outlook across undulating farming properties with the mountains as their backdrop.

Nil to not like ..stunning spot

The Studio's accommodation is high quality, comfortable and spacious for a couple. Outside is a sprawling lawn and established garden with viewing decks over a valley of farmlands with the Dandenong Ranges in the distance. Secluded and serene inside and out. The breakfast included freshly baked bread and a range of cereals, conserves, fruit and eggs. The hosts - Ann and Ted - were friendly and helpful. A wonderful place to unwind!

Lovely little studio with amazing views. Well appointed with the added little touches like homemade bread which was still warm. Granola with a recipe to make your own Bircher muesli.

It was a shame it was raining as we would have had a great view of the hot air balloons.

We were impressed by how functional and high quality evertything was at The Studio. We thouroughly enjoyed the terrific view and quiet offered. Ted and Ann were incredibly warm and welcoming. We could not have asked for a more emjoyable stay!
