Absolutely gorgeous view, just as seen in the pictures.It's also perfectly located, just 20 mins walk from Grand Baie and right next to a bus stop. Just be aware that it is self catering so it doesn't come with the usual amenities found in a hotel, such as soap, shampoo, washing up liquid, etc.

Nice property/facility … blend of trees, wood, sea, sand … Airy and clean space, sea view … sounds of the sea, many birds, rustling trees - really really lovely … great and helpful talk with the owner and other staff. Situated outside the hustle and bustle of the city center.

There were clear instructions to clean up after one’s self in the kitchen which is great. Cleanliness can be relative and would be great if the residence takes responsibility for this or additional cleaning - didn’t notice anything unclean but just an advice.

The property is very well maintained, and the location is spot on. I was very impressed even though it was a small property compared to hotels. I travelled a lot for works and leisure across Australia, Europe, and the US stayed in 4/5 Stars Hotels. This one was a different vibe. Kudos to the team who works at Residence Peramal!!! The lady at the reception was very welcoming, very polite and friendly. The owner himself is a legend, and I love the positive vibe and atmosphere he delivers.

Superb sea view from a spacious terrace. Well appointed interior and attractive furniture. Lovely garden. Towels changed daily. Meticulously clean thanks to daily cleaning. Large fridge. Decently equipped kitchenette. Location in a quiet area close to restaurants and supermarkets. Tons of channels on the TV. Huge king-size bed with comfy pillows. Excellent wifi. Excellent price-quality ratio. The owner Mr. Aresen was extremely helpful with his very useful local tips.

Access road was a bit rough. No wine glasses. Card payment incurs a 3.5% commission (you can pay cash in Euros though). No lighting on the hallway stairs at night.

Views and privacy. So relaxing. Warm and friendly team. Always available to help. Comfortable bed. Kitchen well equipped. Night time sleeping with balcony door open (top floor) with sounds of water very special. Location great.. Would return again. Love supporting family business and entrepreneurs.

• The view and the hosts’ friendliness add great value to this accommodation. • Parking is available right in front of the property, next to a small gulf and beautiful greenery. • The apartment is minimally furnished, but functional and very clean.

• I would have appreciated if the apartment felt a bit warmer and more comfortable overall. Perhaps a sofa inside or more comfortable chairs on the balcony would help. • A shower door would prevent water from splashing across the bathroom, although the fact that the apartment is cleaned daily definitely helps!

Very good location, great sea view from the balcony. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was spacious will everything we needed. We always had parking for our rental car in the road next to the property. It was a good location to explore the north of the island. Lost of restaurants around, and 2 big shopping centers within 5 minutes drive.

Not much to complain about, we had a small leak in the roof of our bathroom, but did not bother us. The building will require general maintenance in the future to refresh it a bit, but all in all we had a good stay.

The location is excellent, offering a fantastic view that can be fully enjoyed from the balcony—a real plus. The bed was both spacious and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Overall, a well-positioned and pleasant place to stay.

Finding the property can be a bit challenging if relying on Google Maps, as the entrance is through a small road in front of a restaurant, which is not always immediately obvious. Additionally, not all staff members speak English fluently, though communication is still manageable.

ON ARRIVAL WE WERE GIVEN A ROOM 3 FLIGHTS UP STAIRS, WHICH I COULD NOT MANAGE. WE WERE ASKED TO KEEP THAT ROOM UNTIL ONE ON GROUND FLOOR BECAME AVAILABLE, WHICH WE DID. AFTER THAT ALL WAS WELL. THE STAFF WAS PLEASANT ABOUT THE CHANGES WE REQUIRED.

I felt that more attention could have been paid to various (small) things in the room, such as: 1) more hooks on which to hang things like hats, coats, beach towels etc. 2) the windows could not be locked from inside, which made us a little nervous about being vulnerable, having had a bad experience in Mauritius before. 3) no instructions for the microwave oven. (not all guests will be familiar with this kind of appliance.) 4) access to the storage cupboards in the kitchen was difficult for a short guest!

This place was just at the end of Grand Baie, so a little away from the town Centre (10 minutes walk), but still with a great view over the bay. a concierge welcomes you and shows you your room and is there for any request. There's taxis close by or like we did, catch the local bus (bus stop 200m away only), cheap way to go places. Spacious room with a good size balcony (table for 4), Ceiling fan and A/C, TV and kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee machine and a big fridge/freezer. Clean bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. As we vacated the room in the morning and our flight was in the evening, the manager was very happy to look after the luggage during our time away at the beach. A great bonus.

Although the kitchen has a kettle and coffee machine, there was no tea bags nor coffee filters, something that could be provided as a welcome, even if the room would cost a few rupees extra to cover. There was no dishwashing liquid to clean the dishes, but that was resolved very quickly by the very nice manager in charge (obviously someone forgot, no drama). Everybody was really helpful in this small complex.
