Staff were just lovely. Always on hand to help in any way they could and always with a "bonjour" and a smile. They were very patient when listening to our rusty French😬 Location, overlooking the sea and a walking distance from the old town, was perfect. Fantastic breakfast The hotel was quiet. Mostly mature couples. Very relaxed atmosphere.

A family room for three was a bit cramped (Room 218) but the room was comfortable.

We were stuck 2 extra days due to ferry cancellation. We had our little dog with us. Not only was she welcomed, we were allowed to leave her in the room whilst we had breakfast. There is secure parking around the corner, but connected to hotel's rear entrance for an additional fee. Location opposite beach and close to Ferry Terminal

Although breakfast is included, there is minimum food available at night. We did enjoy a meat and cheese platter. There are also options of local pre made delicacies

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location near to the old town, we had a room with a sea view. The staff were friendly and the breakfasts were good with lots of choice. We had private secure parking for 15 Euros per night, it is a little tight though. The old town is 10 minutes walk away, it's beautiful but can get vey busy at peak holiday periods. Also, worth booking for dinner.

The room we had was quite small but there is space under the bed for storage (we found out on the last day!).

A beautifully located hotel. From the moment we are arrived the service was amazing. We had an apartment perfectly suited to out family of 5 all you could need. We paid for parking which was excellent We had a reserved spot which was large enough to fit with our roof box Will certainly return

Breakfast items and cutlery etc could have been replenished faster

The location away from the centre. All the staff were helpful but in particular the young girl who checked us in. We try to converse in French but her English was superb. Not only that she directed is towards restaurants locally which was invaluable.

It was a little tired and could benefit from some redecorating but it was clean . Also like most IBIS hotels towels are limited and if poor quality.

The staff were brilliant in particular the girl who checked us in and the night receptionist. (Sorry didn’t get names) also breakfast staff and housekeeping. Never met people so friendly who actually looked like they enjoyed their jobs and a sense that they all get along together as well

Walks in bedroom not very soundproof

The rooms were well equipped and very clean/modern. We also appreciated the help from the staff with restaurant recommendations and arranging a taxi to the train station.

Some people could find the room too cramped, but this is pretty standard for European hotels. There also wasn’t a kettle in the room which is always nice to have.

The location is perfect: the walls and the city centre are easily within walking distance, and watching and listening to the sea from the hotel windows, especially when the tides are high, is wonderful. Breakfast is good, with diverse options.

Some small inconveniences: no paper tissues in the bathroom and not much space where I could put my clothes or my luggage.

Lovely spacious room. Good breakfast. Excellent location 10 mins from the walled town.

We were in a room on an external corridor. The door into the bedroom is made of opaque glass. This means that when anyone walks along the corridor outside the room at night, an automatic light comes on and floods the bedroom with light.

Typical of Ibis Hotels, this one has good staff, is clean, well maintained with respectable sized rooms. Buffet breakfast was pleasant, varied and I could have continued eating for hours if I chose to (I didn't, I'm fat enough already!). Easy to find with public street parking outside or private parking in the hotel if you don't mind paying treble the street parking price. Several good restaurants very close by on the waterfront or many a 15 minute walk away in the old town (but expect to pay top tourist prices).
