-the hotel is very close to the nicest beach in the area (Costa Calma is big and the water is calmer than the ocean water at other close beach, I was at Sotavento Jandia and Mal Nombres and was with too strong waves), so I could run and swam alot! Also you have 2 nudist beach very close. -the view was very nice (sea view to the sunrise); -the breakfast was very good and the staff very kind; -is quite close to shops (2 Spaar and 1 HyperDino) and restaurants; -is in a quiet area, not at the main street so is perfect for people running away from traffic noises.

-some neighbours doing noises late night (but it’s not the hotel fault);

Really liked the free Pilates and Yoga classes that the hotel were offering during our stay. The instructor was great. Having a gym was also great. Nicely designed hotel. Apartment was great. Location great too — really close to the beach and to a supermarket. Hotel offered free drinking water, which was a nice touch.

Only thing that I disapprove of is charging for use of the room safe. This should be free of charge.

Food was delicious, (gluten free offer great) rooms are clean and comfortable, bathrooms are amazing - great shower, balcony are massive. Hotel offers excellent service, also have gym, offers pilates and gymnastics lessons every morning, they also have a laundry room and spectacular roof terrace. R2 Higos Beach is only 3 minutes walk from the beautiful beach. Costa Calma is very small town, without good shopping centres and attractions for children, so for people who like peace and quiet this is the right place for us was to quiet. It was before season (April 2025 ) If you rent a car you should visit - Morro Jable. Is beautiful and offers much much more.

The hotel has been recently renovated and everything is new, beautiful and comfortable. We had an apartment with a private pool and a sea view, the pool is cold at this time of year so we used it more for hardening, but in the summer it will certainly fulfill its function to the fullest. The apartment is perfectly equipped, we didn't miss anything in the kitchen, the bathroom has a spacious shower and there is always hot water. The breakfasts were excellent, grilled vegetables every day, eggs, cheeses, hams, salamis, sweets, avocados... everything was top. I have to highlight the czech receptionist named Kamila who is a woman in her place, always smiling, very helpful, she recommended us places to swim, views and restaurants where we could eat great. Every hotel needs Kamila! We will probably return to this place and this hotel, this time with children and I believe that we will meet Kamila again.

I have nothing to complain about. Absolutely.

This hotel is recently refurbished and it has been done to a very god standard. Everything is tasteful and pristine from the moment you enter the reception to your room and balcony. The staff and polite and friendly. Prices are very reasonable for food and drinks. Breakfast was offered and had a good selection of hot and cold foods. The only criticism which I'll put here and not below is that the 'hot' elements of the breakfast were certainly cooked, but were barely warm. Big shout out to Pablo on reception who checked us in, very professional, polite and all-round nice guy. We will definitely book this place when we return. Food availability wasn’t always served in the advertised times In frequency of buses to get to airport obviously not the hotels fault

It was nice and close to the beach with restaurants nearby and supermarkets when needed. All communal areas were clean and tidy. The pool area and pool were cleaned daily with pool water quality checked and written up on the board every morning. It was quiet at night. There was room to park hire cars. Rooms were cleaned, and towles changed every other day. Lovely sun rises from our sea view Room.

Cooking facilities were limited, there was only a 2 ring hob and microwave. Would have been nice to have an oven and toaster. The rooftop bar was closed all the time we were there. Even though we were given an opening times list.

Amazing hotel !!!

We were greeted by Sandra at reception who was lovely. In the room was a glass bottle of water which we were told we could refill for free at a water cooler next to the gym which was really nice. It’s one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at and they are very conscious in terms of conservationalism. We only had the breakfast on one of the days but it was really nice and fresh and the coffee was so good. The sun loungers by the pool were incredibly comfortable and the hotel is only a short walk from one of the cleanest beaches I’ve ever visited. It was a lovely and peaceful destination in March time. Lots of very good restaurants around too and a Spar five minute walk away.

The WiFi wasn’t great but that’s really the only negative
