Great for our second time for a one night stay before catching the ferry. A classic old hotel building, nicely decorated but no frills. The room is warm and comfortable and has everything you need, though the shower was a little small and in need of updating. Friendly welcome from the lady at reception, and the optional breakfast was worth the 12€ extra. Beware there is no lift! We were on the third floor. But great value for money, and we will be back!

The property was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and furnished. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, including helping me to check in early as I arrived on a morning ferry. The room was lovely and spacious, and the location was ideal - only 15 minutes or so to the old town, 10 minutes to the port, and plenty of shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. I greatly enjoyed my stay!

Only minor downside is there is no lift, but staff were very happy to help with my luggage!

Great breakfast, which we had on our second day. Wish we’d chosen to do that on our first day. Staff very friendly and efficient. Nice, quiet part of town, easy walk to ferry port. Tastefully decorated. I would definitely recommend to others and would stay again.

My only issue was that the shower head fixture wouldn’t stay in position, and that the shower tray gathered water as it emptied too slowly. Minor points but it would have been a 10 otherwise.

Some of the decor is a bit tired for the price you pay (although that’s St Malo prices I think) and our curtain rail unfortunately fell down on the first night. The manager fixed this next day, though, and was very responsive.

Very good value for money, friendly staff and convenient with a car park nearby with charging for our electric car.

I hadn't realised that check in was not before 4.30 pm, though it does say that on their listing. But the receptionist was kind enough to take our bags in and we came back later. A couple more pillows would be good.

Excellent location and very cost effective. Easy walk to Brittany Ferries, Moderate walk to Intra Muros and Gares. Most facilities just next to the hotel; supermarket, others stores, cafes and bars, only two restaurants. Breakfast not bad.

Slight disadvantage is the hotel closes during the middle of the day - so no bag drop then possible

Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in for the price. Staff excellent. Communication prompt In the town centre. Bedroom big enough for my needs. Good shower. Not noisy. Somewhere secure to store my bike and they let me leave small luggage during the day so I could explore the town. Would recommend and stay again

Breakfast was good, but at 12 euros a little expensive in my opinion for continental style

Receptionist was really lovely. Helpful and friendly. Room comfortable. Good location. Gorgeous puppy. Dog friendly. Parking near by, free.

Rooms are little on the small side travelling with our dog. No lifts. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Musty smell ftom shower once cleaning worn off.

I was catching a ferry so only staying one night. The hotel location was a 15 minute walk to the ferry port so a convenient location for me. The reception staff are very friendly, the room clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bedding and towels were fresh and clean and the bathroom spotless. Very good value for money.
