ideal downtown boutique accommodation with well-appointed, tastefully furnished rooms. the restaurant is located in the beautiful former bank hall - a spectacular place for a spectacular breakfast with barista coffee and à la carte options. as it is all about details: the hotel boasts the most beautiful door hangers.

the reception team could have been a bit more welcoming - everything was rather transactional.

Front office staff was very friendly and helpful. My location was great, room a bit small.

No Porter or anyone to help with bags. I'm 80 yr old and would have been nice for someone to offer. Also no stair railing on the entrance steps, scary.

The staff were lovely, helpful and efficient, couldn't do enough for you. Location is great, right in the middle of everything. Hotel has an old charm with a beautiful rooftop bar.

My experience is unusual so I say something from my perspective. My wife is a wheelchair user. While the hotel is mostly accessible, a few things can be improved. Maybe a few grab rails can be added to the walls around the toilet and the shower. We had to get in and out through the underground level and the side door. Our card didn't allow us to go down to the level in the lift. Every time I had to ask the receptionist to help. Although they were all very happy to help, it should be easy to resolve this technical issue for the guests.

Fantastic location for exploring Stockholm. 15/20 minute walk from the central station (for Arlanda express for airport) - and approx 20/30 minute walk to each of the districts - we could walk to Abba Museum, Vasa Museum, Gamla Stan. The main attractions for a weekend break were all very walkable from this central point. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Highly recommend.

Our room was at the front of the hotel, so some street noise (not enough to be a problem) - but that is to be expected in the centre of a city. It maybe quieter if you request a room at the back of the hotel.

150 kr surcharge on roomservice, when having this quality of Hotel/price it should be included. But kudos for making it clear before ordering.

A beautiful hotel in the perfect location, one block away from the Harbor, right next to a train station, and a short walk to Gamla Stan. The included breakfast was outstanding and very classy. Our room was plenty spacious with big windows. The bed was truly comfortable. The staff was excellent and really made our stay feel luxurious. Definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

A bit on the pricey side, but we did upgrade our room to the deluxe signature. Might go with the elegant exceptional next time.

Great location, nice and functional room, lovely breakfast. One staff member in the restaurant was great and very professional (I do not recall the name, but he speaks a bit of Italian). Room cleanliness was at a very high standard - I think Amanda was my housekeeper. Kudos to these two associates!

The warmth and efficiency of the staff is not up to a five star hotel. Staff attitude and body language at breakfast and at the Papillon bar can be improved. Such a pity as it is a great location and the hotel has all the facilities to be greater.

The bed was very comfortable, I must emphasise this, the bed was superb. The view from the window was very nice too. The hotel itself is very impressive and stylish, and the staff is very accommodating and ready to help. The location of the hotel is superb - many museums are a short walk away.

We couldn't figure out the bath showerhead: there weren't any buttons or levers, but there was a separate shower, so that's not a big issue. There also was minimal draught from one of the windows, but this was not a deal breaker in any capacity.

Breakfast was generous and lovely. The food was plentiful and delicious. The kitchen was able to provide additional food easily and without extra charges. The location of the hotel is perfect. In such a beautiful neighborhood, easy to walk to many sites and generally very central. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully appointed.

I wish there was a better business lounge that lends itself to quiet meetings. The music in the lobby made it hard to talk quietly but the hotel easily adjusted the music for us. The bathroom products are great but larger bottles would be better and easier to use.

Breakfasts are amazing. The little attentions to detail in the room are lovely with a nice message and a little treat left most nights. Staff were excellent.

Being on the 7th floor, you could hear the thump, thump, thump of the music on the roof terrace until the early hours. If you do stay at th is lovely hotel, try and stay on the first few floors.
