We spent a few dreamy days in Cappadocia, and this stone hotel played a huge part in making the experience unforgettable! The rooms are beautifully decorated, combining traditional style with all modern comforts – a very cozy bed, clean, and perfect temperature even at night. The location is excellent, offering a stunning view of the rock formations and, in the morning, the hot air balloons. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. Breakfast was another highlight – rich, varied, with fresh local products and great coffee. I highly recommend this hotel!

The room is exactly as described. Spacious, clean, with enough furniture. There are two rocking chairs where you can relax. The room has a very beautiful, authentic interior that perfectly matches the overall atmosphere. Very good, varied breakfast on the roof terrace with a beautiful view. You can watch the flight of hot air balloons from the roof. The hotel has a great location. The main attractions are within walking distance. Very quiet. There's an opportunity to book tours and a transfer to an airport at the reception. We are very grateful to the hotel staff for their hospitality and a wonderful time. Highly recommended for everyone!

We did Enjoyed Stone Hotel. We are especially grateful to the hotel team for the excellent organization of our stay - a very convenient transfer from Kayseri Airport on comfortable shuttles, as well as Balloon flight and English guided Green tour at very attractive prices. We read a number of reviews about remote locations for balloon flights organized by external agents, but we have received the superior service and 100% excitement. The room in the hotel appeared to be smaller than we expected according to photos, but it didn’t create any inconvenience. The rooms are very cozy, the beds are comfortable, the interior is authentic and clean. The bathroom is quite spacious and comfortable. The heating was very warm and worked perfectly (!) which was very important when the outside temperature is below zero. We also Enjoyed the breakfast. Everything was homemade quality, a large selection of cheeses. As a bonus, the view from the breakfast terrace was amazing! In the evening the upper terrace is beautifully illuminated, you can sit, drink tea, enjoy night views of the Goreme. The hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance from downtown but still the street is very quiet and you can sleep very well. Love valley hiking trail starts in less than 1 km from the hotel!

As a solo traveller, the hotel was perfect for me! 10/10 location meant that I could easily walk 5 minutes down the road to the centre, day or night. The hotel staff were superb and friendly, especially Elif!! The room, amenities and cleanliness met all expectations. The buffet breakfast was clean and plentiful with lots of fresh options. The rooftop was just grand for balloon watching in the morning. Thank you for making my stay in Cappadocia so memorable. 🩷

I called reception to enquire about a late checkout as I had a migraine, and also asked for an iron. The gentleman at the front desk wasn’t particularly helpful in that moment and the iron never came (he later blamed being busy, all the while I never saw him leave the front desk). He also asked that I give him a special mention in my review. Sorry mate, you only get a positive mention when you leave a positive impression. 🙅🏻

Staff went above and beyond for us. We booked our balloon ride with them, but we found much cheaper elsewhere, asked could we cancel and they said the company wouldn't allow it but they agreed to pay some of it themselves (which I would think was only less commission). View from the terrace is beautiful, you can watch the balloons from there in the morning. Breakfast was perfect, lots to select from. To top off our stay, Orcun and Abdullah made our stay by gifting us with a cute light up ornament upon check-out.

It's not sound proof at all. We could hear everything at reception and it would wake us up when rooms around us flushed the toilet.

My girlfriend and I spent three wonderful days at this hotel, and it exceeded our expectations. The rooftop view is undoubtedly one of the best in Göreme for watching the hot air balloons. Mart and Orcun at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful, significantly enhancing our experience. The kitchen and cleaning staff were also very kind. The breakfast offered a delightful variety, featuring traditional Turkish dishes alongside options like Nutella and bread for those who prefer less adventurous options. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Plus, the location is perfect—conveniently close to everything while still providing a peaceful atmosphere. It was also very easy to book activities and shuttles to the airport at the front desk. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The staff was amazing, Orcun who was there to welcome us with a gift souvenir and let us check in earlier, Mert who told us everything we needed to know about Cappadocia and different tours and experiences. They both let us leave our luggage until the evening and let us wait on a terrace fow our night bus, which we really appreciated! Thanks to Mert we booked the green tour and the quad ride in the valleys and had a little discount because they had their own tour agency, so everything was quick and organized! The hotel has a terrace where you can watch the air balloons take off during the sunrise! Recommended!

They gave us the room next to the reception which wasn't really sound proof so obviously we heard people talking and everything, but they did ask if we want to switch it and we decided to keep it as it didn't bither us and as they were very kind with us. But if you do seek some privacy maybe ask for another floor! :)

The hotel services provided correspond to the description(beds, pillows, linen, towels, slippers, hygiene products, etc.). Check-in was done quickly, breakfast was delicious and served starting at 8.30-10.30 am. We chose according to the price/quality. Moreover, during the car trip, we had to stop in Trabzon and one day is gone away and we had to extend. And personal handled that situation. I meant, we reserved the one room with double bed, and the second room with two separate beds. And in second case, not so easy was extended but hotel provided a big room and put there an extra bed and price was almost as previous. Therefore, the location was perfect and the view from the terrace was amazing. Unfortunately, we were not able to catch the balloons in 3 days, but we still enjoyed sunrises and sunsets from there.

It's just a suggestion: perhaps it would be great if the staff knew English a bit better(now ~7/10), but thanks to technology (online translators/ AI chat), we found tire fitting and all other places.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Throughout our stay they helped us feel welcome and accommodated for our needs. We ended up arriving earlier than scheduled and they got the room ready for us within the hour. The room itself was lovely. Very spacious and clean. The facilities provided were excellent and the bed was very comfy. Great view of the valley from the balcony. For breakfast, a good selection was provided so there was something for everyone. Location is also good as there are many restaurants and shops nearby including a pharmacy within 5 minutes walk.

Great location, the view from the terrace for the morning balloons was spectacular. Not all hotels have this so definite plus. The breakfast spread was excellent, we were really impressed. WiFi worked well and the shower was very good.

We were on the basement floor so we had no windows and the doors to the rooms just didn’t fit properly. Everybody was slamming the door and trying to lock it multiple times so it was quite noisy. Tv not a smart tv.
