The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast had adequate choices of both grab and go foods as well as hot foods. The location is far enough to not have any issues with traffic during the summer but close enough to be a quick drive to major locations in Mystic.

The hotel was smaller than I expected and the hallways seemed narrow. The elevator was located at a bend in the hallway so it could get tight with first floor patrons trying to pass while second floor patrons were waiting for the elevator. The breakfast area is small and so was poorly set up for quick access. It was also difficult to kind seating for our family of three as the dining area was filled. Although I noticed many people taking their breakfast upstairs.

I absolutely love the hotel.It has recently been done over. Everything was so brand new and clean. The betting was spotless.The bed was so comfortable if you liked a hard bed. The bathroom done over was very nice as well.But I would like a little more water pressure in the shower. The front desk gentlemen was very nice when I checked in and the gentleman when I checked out but I do not know their name. It was very quiet stay.I thoroughly enjoyed it. One thing I did not like is I found the television was very confusing to use not happy with that.

I consider myself a very technical person. I had a lot of trouble with the t. V getting it to work getting the channels properly in and yeah, I just hated the TV. I wasted more time trying to get my favorite show on.So that was the least favorite part of my stay. I did not partake in the breakfast.

Very nice property, it was clean they asked me what floor I wanted to stay on. Very safe area. Breakfast was OK however there were no forks but I’m sure she would’ve got to it when she wasn’t busy. I wish they had fresh fruit and not just apples. Also, the water in the lobby was not hot for tea.

I had an emergency come up and I was hoping that I could cancel my room however I wasn’t allowed to due to my policy agreement. That wasn’t the hotel‘s fault but I would’ve even paid half price if they allowed me to cancel at least

The breakfast was very good. I thought it would be the usual coffee cereal and juice. Nope. There was fresh fruit. Waffles toast. Yoghurt cereal mini muffins and eggs. Very good variety

There was refurbishment of some rooms going on when we were there. But it wasn't too intrusive. I'm sure once all the refurbishment is finished it will be an excellent hotel. One of the more affordable hotels. I looked at a few hotels before this one and the rest were stupidly overpriced. So I opted for this one and it was a perfect location. And a quiet location too.

My room was spotless. The staff was very professional. The breakfast exceeded expectations. Overall a very confortable stay.

There were towels hanging from the bathroom door hook that may have been from the previous guest. Please have housekeeping check behind the door when cleaning rooms. If it is your practice to hang a few clean towels there please disregard. I wasn't sure if they were clean or dirty.

Breakfast was great- nice offerings, tasted good. Every area was clean. The front desk was very responsive. Bed was comfy.

The room next to mine left their little Chihuahua alone late at night & it barked for 2 hours. I had a dog there, too, & I had to sign a form about being evicted if there were complaints about your dog. That barking so late was unacceptable- they were still there in the morning. Ruined my night.

For a short, budget-friendly stay while visiting the Mysic-Stonington area, this is a great option. It's just a few minutes from the aquarium, the Historic Seaport Village and museums and the downtown area. It's not the fanciest place but it is clean and comfortable and they put on a great breakfast in the morning.

Room was very clean and updated. Bed was comfortable. Will stay again.

Upon arrival the pool was green. we had no intent on using the pool so it did not matter to us. Several guests with children were very upset that the pool was not usable even after confirming at booking that the pool was open. We stayed 2 nights and the pool was green the entire time. We also did not have the breakfast , but we were very pleased with the room itself. We just needed a clean place to sleep while visiting family in the area. Also room was not ready when we arrived even though we came to check in at 4:00 but it was on a sunday after a busy weekend.

Room was larger than we had expected and very comfortable and clean.. I was a little bummed it was an outdoor pool.. that's my bad for assuming it was indoor and the mini fridge had a broken leg so it rocked when you opened and closed but staff was great and very happy with our stay

Indoor pool or hot tub would be nice for winter stays

Every employee was very pleasant and always smiled and extended a greeting. Room was very clean as was the breakfast area and outdoor property. Breakfast selection was very good, fresh and quickly replenished.

I would have appreciated a whole wheat or multi-grain bakery product in the breakfast selection.
