We love that the hotel is located between the bay and ocean. Great location for everything in Dewey beach area. Pet friendly.

That they don’t clean your room without evening being asked and the pet fee is way too high at $150.00. If my pet made a mess I would expect to pay for it. Even if you are staying one day or a week you pay the high rate. We did not find out that there was a pet fee until after we had stayed.

Location was beautiful. Within walking distance to many places. Pet friendly hotel. Lots of places to comfortably hang out and enjoy the view. Staff was very friendly. You could walk out the sliders directly to the pool on the ground level or out looking over the bay. There was a kayak and paddle board rental on the property which was very cool. Perfect place to watch the sunset in the evening over the bay and short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise in the morning. It was overall peaceful and perfect.

One light bulb was out in one of the lamps but not big deal. One bed looked like it had been put to a lot of use as the frame was a little broken. But again, not a deal breaker.

The location is good. Very close to some restaurants and within 10-min driving to the beach side. Staff was great and friendly. We felt warm welcomed.

1. It's not on the hotel, it's booking - they gave us the wrong final payment amount, which was quite distressing. Be aware of the resort fee, which they put as parking fee so They're not included in the final amount shown when you reserve the room. 2. Again staff was great but we only got one room service during our 5-night stay. Even that was after we asked the front desk twice. And we waited for half an hour to get the room cleaned...

It was situated at the end of a quiet residential street but still walking distance to shops, restaurants and the ocean. It was also pet friendly with a dog walk station adjacent complete with bags and a dedicated trash bin. Well lighted for late night dog walks.

No elevator. Placed on 3rd floor with blind dog who needed carried up and down (I am 71 and it was a struggle.). Additional dog fee of $150. not expected. Booked too late to get ground floor room but they did move us for the last night.

I really like this hotel's location. We do not go to the beach in Dewey. We have our state park pass so we go to the Tower beach. The Tower also has a bay side beach that you can go to watch the sunset over the bay.

The description for this hotel was misleading in that it stated the kitchen had kitchen ware. This hotel at one time did supply kitchen ware for cooking your own food but no longer do so. I was unable to cook the food I brought. We were not at all happy to have to eat restaurant food for all our meals.

Our family loves the location and having dock access to enjoy the bay! It’s a beautiful view no matter what time of day and has plenty of seating outside to enjoy. The kids had fun in the pool as well. Staff is very polite and friendly!

For the price, the rooms could definitely use a little tlc and some upgrades. The carpet is out dated and was damp around the a/c unit. There is a little kitchenette area but you have to get the pots and pans from the front office or bring your own to do any type of cooking. Does not come equipped with utensils, paper towels, etc.. Otherwise the room itself was very clean and fine for our weekend stay.

Easy walking distance to restaurants, miniature golf, playground etc. Free parking, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Outstanding, friendly front desk service from Erin (overnight) and especially Sharicka (daytime) who wrote up and shepherded our main complaint (see below) to an agreeable solution.

One of the 2 rooms we booked needed a good vacuuming due to obvious debris around the main bed, sofa bed and patio door. In general, the property looked and felt worn out although it met our needs. In at least one of our rooms, an old oven or dishwasher front or whatever it is needs to be removed or disguised better.

Rooms were clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, leaving us very stiff and sore when we woke up everyday. The shower and toilet are not made for tall people at all, so it was a real struggle. There was no hot water for showers and the air conditioner kept leaking all over the carpet. Some upgrades and reconfiguring the bathrooms would be a great enhancement to the rooms.

Air conditioner was noisy. We also heard that folks with long-standing reservations were told when they arrived that they could only stay for the weekend because of a NEW MANAGEMENT decision. Even the desk clerk was caught off guard. That's NOT HOSPITALITY! I didn't hear that they were given alternate accommodation, and it didn't sound like they were offered full refunds - only credits on future stays. That's just appalling and will affect out decision to stay there again in future - tho we love the location...

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly! My husband and I were originally only booked for 3 nights.But once we got there, we decided we wanted to extend for a day and there was no problem and the process went very smoothly. We were able to stay in our same room. We decided to extend yet another day and went through the process again with the same exceptional service. We had a bay view on the 2nd floor, and other than it being extremely hot to sit out there in the afternoon the balcony is comfortable and the view is beautiful!

This is not a complaint, more of a suggestion. I may not have read the fine print of the amenities section well enough, but I was assuming since there was a stove and small oven that there would be pots and pans as well. Also, since there were plates and cups that there would be silverware. These weren't game changers, we just modified our meal plans.
