The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food and service for breakfast at Olive and Hay each day were great, especially Anthony who served us for two days and greeted us the other two mornings. There was a bit of a hiccup at check-in, but concierge, Tiffany, quickly resolved the issues. I loved Our Lady of the Grapes chapel on the premises and delighted in being able to attend Mass each day. Also loved being able to take a short hike through the Trinitas Vineyard.

Check-in was a bit confusing, perhaps because I had booked two rooms. Housekeeping was definitely inconsistent. One room never got made up one day. When I texted for two things (help with the safe and an iron) identifying which room, they knocked on the door, disturbing our guests, in the other room. Some days, we got new towels, other days, they simply took the used ones away but did not replace them. They never replaced the used shower cap, make-up remover, or cotton balls. Some days, they put all of the throw pillows back on the bed, other days they left them on the sofa where we put them at bedtime.

Welcoming staff, though check'-in was a bit confusing. I had paid for two rooms, but the desk clerk charged us again for the second room. The delightful concierge, Tiffany, corrected it the next day. In our room, the ground level sliding door to the outside was unlocked when we arrived, the safe did not initially work (they sent someone to repair it), and one of the hinges on a dresser door was broken, so it was impossible to open the top drawer without adjusting the broken hinge. There was a streamer in the closet, but no iron or ironing board. When I asked for them, they were sent to our room. The maid service was inconsistent. The supplies of make-up removers and cotton balls were never replenished. Sometimes they left two towels, sometimes only one. Sometimes they put all of the decorative pillows back on the bed. Sometimes, they just left them on the sofa, where we put them while we slept. Because I had reserved and paid for two rooms, when I would text about my needs (safe repair, iron) and even though I stipulated room 4123, they knocked on room 4117, disturbing my daughter and son-in-law. We enjoyed our daily breakfasts at Olive and Hay and particularly our waiter for two days, who greeted and seated us the following two days, Anthony. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant, welcoming, courteous, and friendly. We loved the chapel and the ability to go to daily Mass there. I would have no trouble recommending Meritage.

Everything thing was clean, minus ants due to people leaving room service out, and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The food and drink is top notch. They have everything you could never need on the property. The pool and hot tub are actually hot (unlike a lot of places who won’t warm them unless asked). The fitness center is crazy nice too, a real center, and it’s open 24/7.

I paid $140 for late checkout and had 4 different people knock on my door, 1 stopped me in the hallway to ask when I was checking out but the worst was that the first person actually walked in on me and my partner while we were naked on the bed even though we had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door and repeatedly yelled to them that we paid for late checkout. It was also before regular checkout time. Very inappropriate and very annoying as I was trying to enjoy what I paid extra for.

Location is very nice which is right in front of the vineyard. Parking lot is very accessible. The room is clean and unique. There is a free wine in the room. It is highly recommendable.

Front desk staff was not great, I had to ask every question that would be standard information. For example, do I need to provide my car information for parking or what is the wifi? Pool is ok and they don't serve a full menu. Overall very corporate and felt like I should be at a convention. HUGE compound. They would not let me use the spa locker room to change for an event before my room was ready, I was told to use the bathroom or pay for a day pass (for 10 mins!). Updated room decor is very tasteful, simple, clean and elevated. Value compared to stanly ranch next door, but different caliber of property. Convenient to airports as it is just inside of Napa. Bell staff / valet was very kind. Restaurant had surprisingly great food, yet even when I arrived at noon they only had a brunch menu and di not serve lunch.

Corporate feeling, lobby vibe, not very "vacation" feeling. Some of the front desk staff does not want to be there.

I like the convenience of having places to eat close by and to go wine tasting.

There was a mold spot in our bathroom. It was a daily decent size one too. Not too happy about it.

Really great. We were upgraded to the property opposite us (can’t remember its name but it turns out it wasn’t as works were being done and we didn’t get the vineyard views. ) but rooms were switched on the next day with ease. The vineyard walk was small But lovely.

Some staff were not very friendly. You have to pay extra to use the spa which is not the case in the UK but it may have been on the site and I didn’t see it. Pool was great but no service / bar. Maybe too early in season.

Adult's only Pool & outdoor jacuzzi which closed at 10pm. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Room was spacious, decorated to theme and nice and cool, no need for aircon. Had Coffee machine and complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice touch. Free parking. Different areas/restaurants/bars/patios to hangout and do things.

The signage at the pool side made if feel like a children's leisure centre. If you have a room on the ground floor, you may have a view of the vineyards but will be thru the carpark. The patio outdoor furniture was tired. Cost of the wine at the restaurant Olive & Hay was expensive seeing that we were in wine country.

We liked the pool, the spa was amazing. The rooms were very clean. But I would definitely come back for the spa. Valet parking was super convenient since the parking lot was full due to a concert that was happening the day.

I didn't like that it was super busy, I guess it's very popular. The concierge was not helpful. There was an odd smell in the hallways that we were able to smell it in the room all night long.

The facility and the staff were just great. Everything was very clean and elegant, I really enjoyed it. The room was pretty large and the restroom was equipped with everything needed. I very much appreciated the welcome gift both for humans (a bottle of wine) and dogs (some treats, a bowl and a bed).

The room I booked was explicitly mentioned to be including breakfast, however this only translates into a $50 voucher that barely covers a single breakfast for two. This is not mentioned anywhere, which is the main reason why this has been disappointing. Also, my room was facing the vineyard, which was an absolutely amazing landscape, but there is a pool just below where people are very noisy throughout the whole day (lots of yelling and unnecessarily loud laughing).
